I am free to travel to Mexico over the weekend. So if my boss traces me it is 100% legal. The trouble comes explaining if it came into contact with a drug user or criminal.
I do not have anything to hide actually. Prostitution is tolerated / legal in Mexico. So my company does not care what I do not weekends.
Mexican police would never know what the phone is about. Also I never told them of its importance. Simple.

I was so tired I did not post a full story about the cops. Still I won't because it won't add to the body of knowledge here.
But suffice to say that the cops set up an elaborate scam to 'help' me. They said they had the said woman in custody on a drug charge and 'may' have the phone on her. So I would need to bail her out for $50 to secure her release and hence my phone. I refused to pay the money up front to them. I said I will call a local attorney to help me out (as I said I have local business in Tijuana). They wasted my time and I made multiple trips to the police station between midnight and 7 am. Spent 4 hours talking and negotiating with cops. I spent $10-20 on bribes but turns out the cops were scamming me (just as I had gathered).
In the AM I tracked the phone down to Jessica and her druggie boyfriend who actually presented the phone to me in exchange for $25 or so. I gave him $25 but he did not give me the phone. Yes I got scammed. But at least I was able to verify that the phone was with him. A phone in the hand of a druggie is useless as he is not a sophisticated hacker. At least I knew nobody had tried to access the data I mentioned. The charger is USB C type so he did not even know how to charge it LOL.
Once I knew that the phone I had not been compromised I felt safe calling the office (they would not scold me for having allowed a hacker to have it). So I called up the office and they flashed the phone.
There. I have explained myself. Do not believe me if you don't want to. It is quite alright. I am fine.
Yeah. In hindsight I was stupid. I get it. You guys do not have to remind me of it.

Exactly why I was in so much panic. Luckily for me nobody at work questioned my whereabouts or even traced its location. They remotely flashed the phone so all data is erased next time it is turned on. If you know me you will find that I have no reason to inflate my standing. If you were a hot chica willing to provide me free services, things would be different. Anyway for me I got to keep my job and nobody even raised an eyebrow.
I am a low level worker with access to important data. In the IT age it is easy to forget how much havoc one can wreak if you have access to the wrong person. Employees are basically honest and so they underestimate how wicked people can be.
And no. Mexican authorities, or nobody in possession of that phone would even realize that the phone is actually a government thing. Needs fingerprint, face scan, password, etc to access the juicy part. Anyway, phone is flashed. So no worries. Yay for System Admins.

Posts: 2569Well there is lot of federal gov employees in SD and we all do dumb things every so often. He can always try and claim he lost the phone in the US. Tijuana is close enough so it is a plausible excuse that it was taken to Tijuana.

Forgive a stranger bursting in. Does anyone besides me find more than a little BS in the story? Someone carrying a government phone commits questionable activity in a foreign country and comes on this forum to admit it to us? Think about it. Chances are the phone has some type of tracer letting his bosses know where he is. Relating it here wouldn't get back to his bosses somehow? The phone is recovered, but he can't get it back? Why would Mexican police admit they have it, then keep it, knowing it belongs to the US government? I think we have a prospective fantasy warier here, or at the very least, someone inflating his importance.

Hey guys,
I've debated not writing this review, but decided not to keep her to myself. Has anyone ever been with Sofia?
She's about 5'4", thin, and is very pretty.
The first time we saw each other, it was a Monday. It was my last fling before departing. She gave me GFE (for a SG), no clock watching, sin ropa for 400 pesos. I tried so hard, but couldn't finish. She looked sad.
Months later, I was looking for my last fling on a Monday before rolling out. Saw Sofia again. She remembered me and that we hadn't finished last time. Another $400 mx and up we went. Identical service. Made sure to get her number this time.
She's sweet, guys. I'd love to hear that you guys have had good experiences with her. I'd love even more to hear she gave me special treatment.
She's got a baby, but you'd never know it by her body and her pussy. Give this girl a try before I try to lock her down!

To add to it, you took it to Tijuana's red light district? ? And you solicited the services of a known drug addict while in possession of said phone? And you are surprised that she stole your phone?
Tell us again how this is the cops' fault?

These walkers are drugs addicts, criminals, and thieves. You should have stayed away form them.
What you mean phone was located but could not recover? Unless your phone is encrusted with diamonds it's not worth that much, but the info in it may be very valuable to people like the drug cartels. She sold that info, not the phone. Now they know how to call the Sec of Home Land Sec directly hehe.
Does your phone have names and addresses of all Mexican informants, double agents and hot HK girls? If you lose sensitive government properties, will you be penalized?
A wingman left his iPhone and key chain in a yellow cab. They brought it back within 10 minutes. Tipped the captain and driver each $5 and they were whining hehe.
MS Clive.
I had my worst ever trip to Tijuana. Jessica the white walker stole a phone which belongs to a top US Federal agency. It is far more valuable than the retail price. There was lots of drama after I reported it missing to the cops and recruited some local help of my own. The phone was eventually located but I was unable to recover it.
Cops in Mexico really are bad.
