I am sorry I keep bothering you guys with questions. I just arrived in L. A. From Texas today. On the plane, it occurred to me that I may have a big problem. I am on a 2-3 weeks visit in California including the Bay Area. So I am traveling with a small suitcase and a backpack with my work laptop. The suitcase has my medicines, vitamins, toiletries, etc. For the long trip. I also carry 2 mobile phones.

I am worried about taking everything across the border. Do you think I will have problems with the Mexican Authorities? I don't think I will have problems with the USA Authorities. I have Global Entry which was always accepted by the CBP in Texas.

Better still, is there a reliable facility in L. A. Or San Diego that will store my stuff?

Any thoughts? Thanks again.

Reality check. You will not find anywhere that sells a USDA Prime steak for $25. One glance at the menu would have told you that. I just bought some Prime rib eyes a couple of days ago, at Costco. The prices have increased to $19/ pound. And they are cheaper than the Costco in Tijuana. If you really, truly, want a better grade of steaks you need to pay to play. Cheap-ass steaks, that require tortillas and salsa to eat, aren't worth going out of one's way for.

Hi Ya'll, I may get a chance to cross to Tijuana next Monday and stay for a couple nights. I have read about 15 pages of this thread and also the HK Club thread, so I think I know what to expect. I was in Tijuana before, about 7-8 years ago.

I believe Uber prices rose because government recently raised permit fees for Uber drivers. You can find find a Taxi driver that will charge 60 pesos if you ask. The downside is that you have to look around in order to find a driver that is wiling. Personally I cam going to trry taking the Taxi van back to the border at night.
