The trolley always stops at all the stops when they are running. There is a few SG's that try and charge $40. The quality & service is on the low side. So I do not recommend paying those prices. Now I do have a favorite that I see that I pay 800 pesos. But this is because she is best looking and gives the best service. I am her only customer and she does not work the streets now.

Rambo, you're a true 'Warrior' - I was planning on parking on Palm (larger lot / closer) seems like a better spot to find food, but the pdf route I looked at last night seems like the trolley leaving the border does not stop at every station. As 8th is listed but Palm station not. Perhaps they just don't want to include every stop on the info to keep it easy. I'd like to try the Trolley just for the novelty factor. I know I might only be saving $30-$50 in parking. But I'm fighting the "MAN" at every stop. $ 5+ gas, $40 for 30 min. Short time rooms at cascada, I can only imagine what my legitimate massage parlors now charge in Tijuana,probably close to $80+ for an hour session. I'm trying my best to cut as many extortionists out of the picture. And the USA parking lot land owners is my first attempt.

And definitely those SG's aren't getting 40-50 for a quicky. Hong Kong's strategy is probably working because they are eliminating that scene and pushing it all inside at $100+ per + 40+ rooms. Enjoy it as much now, because it will never be better than this: (.

Crossing into Tijuana is not a issue. It normally takes about 15-30 minutes to get to the border. I recommend taking Uber back to the border if you go back after 9:30. If I go back before 9:30 I take the taxi van from 2nd and Primera with the white and purple stripe. The taxi van costs only $1 to get back to the border. I you leave the Zona by 10 you should be fine. I recommend that you when you cross into Tijuana you look and see how long the line is. If you look to your right when you exit walkway this where line begins when people wait to the border. If you see people lined up all the way then the lines could be long wait to get back to the US. You can also catch the taxi van to 4th and Revolution from there. Just look or ask for the Van that says Centro. I also use the bordertraffic app to see how long the lines are back into the US. They app requires a subscription. But you can also view video cam's for free.

Thanks that helps a lot, because now I'll try to arrive at 3 or later with less roaming Tijuana time. Just curious if now the lines walking into Tijuana get more hectic around 3-4 pm. Perhaps so, and there's no perfect in / out plan. Sounds like the Trolley you take is not the "Blue Line" which I researched and was about to use. It's last ride leaves the border I believe at 10:30 pm. Which sort of ruins any margin of error on crazy border issues. I will look up 8th av trolley- does that have a parking lot? 11:45 pm last trolley sounds nice, leaves plenty of wiggle room if a later walk back is needed. Do you have a standard rough time you give yourself to taxi back to border, line / cross and catch the trolly? For instance If I were to try to catch the last blue trolley at 10:30 pm. To be safe catch a taxi to the line no later than 9 pm? Wish me luck. I have more anxiety border crossing then dealing with the fishy sharks and raterros.

Palm ave and the trolley is the way to go. Couldn't be easier. Never had an issue where the trolley did not stop there. Also never an issue with parking, the lot is huge. I also have parked there for as many as 4 straight days with no issue.

Only Blue line goes to Border.

From the border some blue lines end at American Plaza and some go past that to UTC.

Last trolley to American plaze (which also stops at 8th st station) leaves at 12:45 AM.

Ignoring wait time you can leave HK club at Midnight and catch that trolley. But of course wait time at border can affect that.

Worst case if you miss that trolley is not a big deal. Just go back and enjoy the club till 4 am and catch the first trolley in morning at 4:30.

I stayed overnight at the club on my last Friday nights at the club and took trolley next morning at about 5:30 am. They were awesome nights in the club.

I normally arrive in the Zona aound 6 or 7 and occasinally 4. The better looking SG's / SW's do not come out till aound 3 pm. I usually park at the 8th av trolley. I typically do some shopping at the Walmart & 99 cent only store. Sometimes I park downtown and catch the trolley there. The last trolley to Old Town departs downtown at 11:45 pm. The last trolley leaves San Ysidro at 12:45 am. Heading to Tijuana this evening.

My goal #1 avoid as much pain as possible car traffic / border crossing traffic. Hargow plan arriving in Zona early afternoon seems to be a good idea for this. Also, get a jump on all the dudes per hour the rack up each 15-20 minutes that go by.

Goal #2 - Minimize costs I'm trying to avoid a $30-50 Saturday 6 hour parking charge at the border for a walk over and back day trip. Trolley seems like a decent idea, never tried it for this purpose (also not keen on getting my catalytic converter stolen) so not comfortable parking in Chula Vista. Perhaps a bit farther North? Any thoughts on a safe shopping mall nearby maybe in Bonita Vista. Fashion Valley mall is safe parking but a bit of a trolley ride to the border. If you cross back after 9pm there is usually not long wait. I always look to see how the line is cross back the US
when I exit the walkway to Av Frontera where Taxi's pick people up. This gives me a rough idea how long the lines will be crossing back over.

Goal #3 making it back over the border to catch the Trolley and not be killed by a 2 hour wait. I understand it would be safe to leave Tijuana at 9:30 pm to avoid the crazy back up. Is this time Frame still reasonable. With 'Brandon Border' + Migrant caravans? Or is 9:30 pm still a 2 hour wait and 10 - 11 pm a better walk back?

Goal #4. Trying to fill in time between a SG at let's say 2-3 pm maybe 4. And leaving the zona around 9-11 pm that's a lot of time. Sucks AB is down. If any one will be around tomorrow I will have lots of time to kill. Any one have a decent taco / non crazy spot to recuperate and gain MOJO for another evening round of SG hunting?

I left a few Sarturdays ago around 10 pm and it was clear sailing and no wait crossing the boarder. I use the border wait time (BWT) app to try tracking it but its a bit unreliable. Let me know what you guys suggest for parking. I'm always in a rush so I just park at the lots closest to the pedestrian border crossing.

It's a lot easier than you make it out to be, finding "normal" women. It's just that you won't find many in Zona bars. Most of the girls in Zona bars come from the very poorest strata of society. Few are educated past the mandatory minimum. Essentially hicks, but suddenly with more money than they've seen in their lives. There are millions of Mexican girls who are literate, articulate, don't look like a hooker when going out in public, who love to be treated nicely, and who are very happy with a little financial help from time to time. Look a bit farther afield and you'll be surprised.

But I think you're talking about Mexicanas in more of a general sense whereas the post I was replying to was in reference to the zona. Mexicanas are awesome, just finding those in the zona the odds are stacked against you, but gems can be found.
