I was standing on the sidewalk in front of Hotel Juarez waiting for my girl about 7 pm. I was holding the phone in with one hand, Quite often I will look at my phone to kill time & take of stuff. I do have phone leash and should have attached it to the phone case. But the I have phone leash to keep from losing the phone.

It depends where you are. One time some guy tried to mug me and I yelled for help. Fortunately someone came over & helped out. It is important to always look and see who is behind you. Also try be aware and careful when you are alone.

One thing I do remember about the days when the chokeout muggings were more common. The one thing the victims seemed to have in common was they reported there were many people around but nobody did anything to help.

Some of dental work came loose on Sunday so made a special trip to have it fixed yesterday evening. Decided to see my girl since I was already down there. I was waiting for at this hotel on Primera by Nino's Hero's As I was waiting this kid BMX bike rode by and snatched my phone. I tried running after him. But he got away. I was irritated since I had just bought the phone about 4 months ago. This incident really caught me by surprise.

I don't know if a play by play is necessary. You should never be mindlessly staring at your phone in the street in a sketchy area anywhere in the world. This is Traveling 101.

Calle Primera & Ninos Hero's is one block south of the east end of alley, There is more crime on Primera since there is fewer police and soldiers. There was some other girls by the hotel. So I was not concerned about getting mugged. I do have a phone leash. But did get around to installing it on the new phone. My girls says she might be able to help me get it back. Met this other guy on the trolley that lives in the Zona as well. Chances are my phone is gone for good. I also realize that getting getting help from a stranger is risky. So I would only meet him in a safe public place.

Okay I see, well again sorry to hear. Just given that I always stay at Cascadas I'd never think to be at that particular intersection, especially at night as I'd assume it to be sketchy. Closest I've been to that intersection is the well-known church a couple blocks from there as well as the Tijuana Fitness on the other side of that intersection, where I've worked out a couple of times (a lot of Zona Norte chicas work out there). But both of those spots I've only been to during the day, would never go at night.

Not exactly sure where that intersection is but sorry to hear, man. I try not to have my phone out when I'm out and about on off-brand intersections like that, though if I do I'm constantly looking around out of the corners of my eyes for trouble. But in all my years I've fortunately never had that experience. A few years ago I was walking down Calle Coahuila towards Adelitas looking down at my phone not really paying attention to anything. A cop sitting in front of Adelitas saw me and warned me not to do that again as a pickpocket could've easily ran by and stolen my phone. Admittendly I still do it occasionally but have been more conscientious about that kind of stuff since then.

Headed to Tijuana & arrived around 7:30 to meet my girl. The Zona was a bit slow for a Thursday evening. Waited till 10 she never contacted me. The irritating thing is that she me messaged me aoundd7:15 pm. This girl often falls asleep. Her looks and service is the best in the Zona. So I am willing to up with it, Just wish there was more better street options in the Zona.

Made plans to see my girl & arrived around 8 pm. There was a few better looking SG's this evening. Talked to both of the The downside is that neither of them was willing to do BBJ. Have noticed that is much harder to find SG's that is willing to do BBJ. Finally got together with my girl around 9:30 and got another great BBJ / facial. Also noticed that the national guard soldier were more spread out. There must have been at 20 soldiers in the Zona. The good thing is that there has been few if any dealers in the Zona recently.

Was still in need of some action so decided to back to Tijuana. Headed to Tijuana & arrived at 3 pm. I went early so would have time to do some shopping. Was supposed to meet her at 3 pm and she did not show up till 4:15. Got another great BBJ / facial. Also saw Kathy in the alley. Headed back to the border around 5 pm. Did not stick around since I had been in Tijuana yesterday. Had to wait in line about 40 minutes. The weather was a bit hot & humid. Also noticed a soldier was checking ID's in the sentry line. Still don't understand why US customs only has one lane at the border fence. They need to have one lane for people that have no problems. There should be another line for people they to more closely examine their ID's. Visiting Tijuana is normally about 5 hour trip from my house and back. Finding girls at a reasonable price was much easier when they worked on ECB. This the main reason why I only visit Tijuana once a week.
