Normally, I would agree that I'd stand up to them, knowing the law is on our side. Right now, however, the law is not on our side. Technically, the border is closed to all but essential traffic. While you and I would argue that sweet looking chicas are essential, Migracion officials may not share our point of view and could deny us entry. Hopefully that all changes Sept 21. Assuming the border closure expires at that point, the law will be on our side again.

Posts: 6522FMM is issued per entry
If you stay under 180 days, you would still have to surrender the FMM to immigration upon exit. Failure to surrender it may cause immigration problems in future entries. Don't know how Mexico would enforce it. I doubt Mexico has the computers and people to record and track all FMMs.
When you want to go back to Mexico, you would have to buy a new FMM. Then Mexico grants you another 180-day max stay. These immigration guys are getting very rich with their $30 per gringo in their pockets. Just imagine how many HK chicas they can screw with all that money.
So why not complain and get free FMM if staying less than 7 days? If you want to stay longer than 7 days, just walk across the border then come back, apply for a new 7-day free FMM.
Fee for Mexico's Visitor Visa (FMM).
If you arrive by land and leave Mexico within 7 days of your arrival date, there is no fee for the permit.
How long can you stay in Mexico with a Visitors Permit (FMM)?
The Visitors Permit is valid for a maximum of 180 days* (about 6 months) from the date you enter Mexico. This allowance is given per entry: every time you exit and re-enter Mexico the 180-day allowance 'resets. ' (You surrender your current FMM when you leave and get a new FMM when you return.) For example, if you enter Mexico on March 1st, you must leave by no later than August 28th; but if you leave on June 1st, and re-enter on June 18th of the same year, the effective exit date on your new FMM will be December 15th. Be sure to count the days as some months are longer than others.

Posts: 6522No Fee for Mexico's Visitor Visa (FMM) under 7 days stay
I drive down so nobody checks or sells any FMM ever. Why are you guys paying for 180-day FMM when you only visit less than 7 days? The money just go in the pockets of the immigrant officers.
You should stand up for your rights and complain to the proper authorities when you get robbed!

If you arrive by land and leave Mexico within 7 days of your arrival date, there is no fee for the permit. If you fly into Mexico from overseas, the fee is usually included within your air ticket's "fees and surcharges. " The fee is approximately US $25.

Posts: 444I was told to pay $30 or go home when I walked across about a month ago. They give the same bottom piece of paper they always give (when we are asked to fill out the form) except they write 180 on it and stamp it.
Apparently there are people offering to drive customers down to the Zona from SD side of the border and this will bypass all this. Have not used it yet. I may or may not use it when I got down in a week+. My wingman for this trip will have to pay the $30 so I will let him decide on how to cross. If I use it will report back.

She looks sweet like a baby with her pretty face. She's the jealous type, also accused me of not liking her and tried to upsell.
She should lose the 5 or so lbs she recently put on. Before that she looked trim and fit with her perfect body and pretty face like a super model.
You got a very good deal. Looks like she likes you. Enjoy her while you can.

Insolent.
Are you looking for Tijuana Maternity Hospital? Or preschools? Hehe.
There are more new girls in La Zona. Some work regularly, some come and go.
Last couple weeks I found at least half a dozen new, fresh, sweet, pretty girls, the kinds that keep me wanting to come back to see them again. They may be reserved and guarded the first time, but by the second time they would be relaxed, smiling, giggling, kidding around. I felt closer and warmer human connections with them than the hardened, money-focused hoes in HK.
Recently bar girls don't look and feel better than street girls and CoVid risks are high in the cramped quarters.
So due to the current situation I have not been to zona Norte for many months now. I have to admit that I'm
