I also noticed that there was fewer police and soldiers around las night for some reason. The police really need to step enforcement in this area. There is drug dealers that hang out there especially by the hotel CeCe. The one good thing is that there is far fewer drug dealers than there used to be. I went to the Rivera hotel last week and they charged me 200 pesos for a half hour. It is nice hotel. But that is to much. The week before they charged me $7. 50. I have noticed that a lot of Mexican businesses will start off with a low price and then start raising the price for repeat customers. Most businesses in Mexico do no post their prices or put labels on. The downside is that they can essentially charge whatever they can from you.

Indeed Riviera Hotel was 200 pesos per hour a week ago.

Now down to 30 minutes. Make sure to borrow a portable heater.

Still good value for 2 clean towels, shampoo, soap bar and hot, hot water shower.

The paraditas appear to have been told to charge salida (exit charge) at 120 pesos by their respective hotels to go to my own room.

Quite a few independent paraditas have not been charging me a stupid exit fee as I have been grandfathered in for a decade.
