You guys ever wonder where to all the California cars go once they cannot pass the smog check in California? Yep, straight down to Tijuana. It's why used Tijuana cars are so fucking inexpensive. Then they fix them up and drive forever. So Tijuana mechanics have a lot of experience fixing cars that you commonly see in Southern California. Hell, one of cars that you owned as a teen is probably still being driven down there with over 400 k on the odometer.

Is a very convenient location to drop the car off and walk to strip bars on Coahuila to chill. Alejandro Deras does excellent work and is probably the lowest cost in Tijuana.

4 weeks after he painted my whole car for cheap, I waited for the clear coat to harden then brought it back for polishing. He had other commitments but I explained I could not make appointment with him because he did not answer his texts, and I had to drive 2 hours to him, not easy to come back another day. He obliged, spent the whole day polishing and detailing my car for free per agreement. He's a perfectionist and cannot stand seeing a car leave his shop less than perfect hehe. I gave him a good propina for keeping his words and not jacking price on me.

A wingman's Honda Accord was rear ended, bumper split wide open. On my advice he took $1,800 insurance check and brought the car to Kali Kustom. Instead of replacing with a new bumper, Alejandro burned a large and stiff wire mesh inside the broken bumper, bonded it inside, smoothed it outside with body filler and repainted, looked and felt like new, paint matched perfectly, nobody can see there was a repair. He charged only $160 for a whole day work. My wingmen thought it was an excellent job and an incredibly good deal.

On Thanksgiving weekend I rode past his shop at 10 PM in an UBER. They were still working on cars, eating dinner with food spread out on the floor. Before Christmas I stopped in his shop, gave his wife a money present.

If you cannot confirm an appointment for a major job, leave the car with him in the afternoon and check into the hotel. They will start on it that night. Next day there would be enough time for bonding, sanding, painting. Paint and clear coat would be dry enough to drive away in the afternoon.

This is a bit dated; I got caught up in the holiday rush.

I did want to extend my gratitude to Captain Solo, who recommended Kali Kustom on Revolution for paint and body work. They did a terrific job and were indeed perfectionists! $200 for rear fender panel, out the door. Also got a 5 year warranty, FWIW. One word of caution— though the job they did was amazing for my 10-why / o Audi, they don't actually use a dust-free painting tent / room; the work was done in a garage bay. Again, made no difference for my purposes and the results were cheap and excellent.

And they're only about five minutes walk from HK / Tropical! Definitely a winner!

So after drop my car off in the AM, I got a room at Rizo de Oro. Very inexpensive w / VIP. Called up one of my favs. She's semi pro now, and won't allow me to give out her number, so I won't bore with details that aren't available to why'all. Suffice it to say that all orifices were probed and kisses and cash were exchanged and we both left happy. In fact, she maybe saved my life; We ended the session with BBBJCIM w / swallow and she remarked that I tasted sweet. For you young, skinny guys, that's a nice compliment, but for us old an heavy guys, it's diabetes. I'm at the Dr getting that checked now.

As I feel bad for leaving why'all high and dry on the girl's deets. I personally hate it when a punter tells a terrific story and there's no way to make use of the intel. We're not Penthouse Letters! Was mad cheap. Like half the price of Uber. The hotel I got for February is just far enough from zona norte that I'm going to have to be catching rides around, so would love it if I could use Indriver while there.

Yeah it's in Tijuana, they have a huge billboard for it when you take the road to the airport. I drive myself in Tijuana but was made aware of InDriver from a girl when I visited her in GDL early last year. For short trips it's not going to make a huge difference especially since most guys here just go from the border to the bars. Besides it would be interesting if they would give a much cheaper price since they know you are a gringo going to the Zona. For longer trips like the zona to the better restaurants I would recommend to them give it a try.

She was nice enough to arrange a ride for me. "In Drive" was only 87 pesos. Uber was charging 139 peos. This was high considering that things were slow in the Zona.

I wish they would put some pronto repairs on the sidewalks / piping / utility work in Zona Norte. It's been awhile since they began and it's either walk in the dirt or walk in the street. Be careful of some of the deep ditches being dug out. I wonder if the street tacos will return to the corner of Coahuila and Nios Heroes from the location at the corner of Coahuila and Constitution. Chica rates are a solid 300 MX pesos. I haven't heard 200 MX pesos in awhile but their may still be a few. These are chicas that average a 7 on quality. The rooms for service have increased also. Most average 100 MX pesos. I have established some new regulars during my quest and its a win-win situation. The area around Ibiza in the alley can be entertaining at times. There's a line of chick's interacting and the viejos sitting on the bench doing nothing but watching the girls. Went to several local bars which are very interesting. Lots of falling down drunks and dancing women. Vendors have set up shop in Plaza Bicentenario between Calle 1 and Calle 2 near the Virgin Guadalupe church. Good food there also. Went to HK and partook in the girl they were wheeling around on the gurney. Not many girls even dance topless in HK. Some are needy and expect a tip when they walk up to you. As Zona Norte changes you should too. Adapt to what's going on and make necessary changes.

Carillo is OK. They painted fenders on my 3 cars, painted matched perfectly, better than the best shops in OC.

Had all dents fixed and the whole car painted for 1 / 8 So Cal cost. Quality is very good.

I also had hard time finding good pussies in So Cal LOL.

Hey, Captain! I wrote a post (mainly for you) on another forum (goods and services in Tijuana) before seeing this. Are you still recommending the Carrillo Brady shop, or have you found something better?
