I really think the military was banned from Tijuana is because they are trying to protect the troops.

I looked it up and according to the news report this is the reason why. Although I'm still certain that all those incidents in the alley caused by the Marines was a deciding factor to keep them out.

You have no idea how bad it is at this point. Hell, we used to run the streets drunk and naked in Subic Bay. I was talking to some of the corpsmen at the hospital a few months back. The ship he came off of had all sorts of fucking rules. When visiting ports overseas, besides having the "Two person" rule while on liberty, he had to summit a liberty plan on paper! Fuck that! My plan was always to find the "Off Limits" paper and go to those places first!

A report on what you plan to do on your day off? That really sucks. I guess you have to blame it on all the previous jerks that ruined it for everyone else. For some reason most military guys on leave feel they have the right to go as wild as they can while getting sh! T faced. Combine this with their need to feel superior to anyone that crosses their path and you're in for some real trouble.

That is because the teens don't hang out in the alley!

I believe this to be true as I rarely see any young guys in the alleys. It's mostly older dudes like us looking for action. I guess it's because most teens still have the option of getting with girls their own age and prefer that. Honestly I don't know but as long as they stay away making trouble on Revo where they belong then it's all good. It also helps the Tijuana economy.

Smart they might not be but one thing is for certain, they have nerves of steel to have to put up with all the ups and downs they go through in the life they ended up in. I once saw a report that women are more prone to be affected emotionally than men when dealing with a crisis. Well these girls are definitely stronger than I am because from some of the stories they tell me, I would have put a bullet in my head a long time ago. I can't help but have a lot of respect for some of these women.

Central and South Mexican puebla girls do not have the ability for them for extended school. A lot of girls come to Tijuana for opourtunity, some start for real jobs but find puta work is more dinero. All the chicas I repeat with are VERY smart! Have you ever seen them work those smart phones! And if you think they don"t know the exchange rate your head is up you ass! Most SG are in the position they are in because of Motherhood and irresponsible boyfriends. Shit if these girls were in the States they would be getting Welfare and food stamps watching novelas on 50" TVs.

My SG "novia" only went to 6th grade, but has the smarts of a college girl. The desk guy says to me I have good tastes with smart chicas! Of course I can't get away with much, but it does keep me on my toes!

I am happy really that the profile of some of the sg's youth begins to change, and have goals in life, and they don't stay too much in the zona norte, in the long term is not good, but more importantly, that they are not dependent on pimps.

Well, Daniela is a very nice girl, very beautiful body, I even took my hand to go to the room LOL, I think it was the 3rd sg that does that in my 16 years of mongerin sg's. Well, I did not expect GFE treatment for me in one sesion, I just wanted to try her, she said that does not like DATY (I don't believe) , and kisses on the cheek could be but not in the mouth. I am a guy of serious appearance in real life, not so handsome, and I'm not a monger every week on the alley no more. All these are factors they calculated, in addition to the chemistry personal.

But I think with Daniela can improve service and become very good. Maybe never be GFE for me, but can improve, repeat a few more sessions to see what happens.

I don't know how these chicas THINK. I has been a complete blur how to figure them out! What one monger gets on the menu is off limits to others. I have to say with Daniella that I saw her the first week she worked in Tijuana up from Alcapoco when she was FOB! I was one of the first to discover her unique "service attitude" for a SG. Menu items have improved over time and of course this takes time. She is GFE to me in every way!

Daniellia knows I have a SG novia (she knows her and my chica knows Daniellia) in fact Daniellia aways asks if I saw her earlier! (of course they don't like each other) Note: Both of these chicas are VERY smart. Not your average SGs. Daniellia is taking a full load of classes in University Tijuana. Works the calle always till 3 am. Parties after with her friends and school and homework and little sleep. (oh to be young!) My "novia is "older" and has been in school and now has a real legit job. She works the calle to increase income. Believe me I am no stupido and use this to MY advantage to get what I want! Life IS good. Granted this can guarentee drama at times.but no risk no reward! Both are in competition with my money, both know I am loyal and I am local (SD) and there every week.

My impression is that there is some teens that go down there, but there is far fewer that go down there these days. When I go to Tijuana I am lucky to see 4 or 5 Americans in Tijuana. Tijuana has a bad reputation and the cops are just waiting to arrest some drunk teenagers.

That is because the teens don't hang out in the alley!

If you leave at about 10:30 or 11 pm, the teens are pouring into Tijuana to drink and dance.

I typically start heading back around 11:30pm on Fridays, thats when the teens start pouring in, Asians / Whites / Blacks / Mexicans, you name it.

They look like college freshmen or even high school seniors some of them and they get so excited and starts prancing and taking pictures.

One can only hope that they don't get into too much trouble and end up fucking up our hobby

After a certain hour in the evening, the x-ray machine is no longer operating; go figure. I guess the smuggling only takes place during the day?

Hasn't it always been illegal to get tattoos and solicit prostitutes in the military? Unless I am remembering wrong. Your soul belonged to god but your ass belonged to Uncle Sam. And tattoos were considered defacing govt property. Although both infractions were tolerated.

I think that E-7 and above can cross the border. Some years ago, if you were on a bordering state or country where the drinking age was younger, like Tijuana, the base clubs would lower the drinking age for the troops. But the PC police changed all that. So the troops started going to Tijuana, and guess what, the DUIs went through the roof.

No surprise here. When I worked with Marines, I knew a couple big tough ones that would faint at the sight of a needle while getting shots in medical.

I returned to the border and also noticed that there were girls with little dresses coming into Mexico as I was leaving Mexico. These ladies were looking good in there little dresses. My question is where do they party at. I'm planning a trip on Labor Day weekend and would like to go to where they are partying at. I've only been to Tijuana once and I'm hooked.

But Global Entry and Sentri are not "just to enter their own country" as you have put it. It is just to enter their own country on their own recognizance with much less of a chance of being searched. The way you talk it seems that you have not been to many countries. Have you ever been to Israel? That that is probably the toughest immigration on the planet. Also most countries make EVERYONE put their bag through an x-ray machine upon entering the country. The USA does not do this to citizens or foreigners. The USA also does not require anyone to be processed out of the country. What other country lets you leave without checking with immigration first?

I've been to quite a few places, but Israel isn't one of them. Maybe I can cut them some slack because so many people want them dead. Maybe some of that is their own fault, but that's a discussion for another day.

So, six of one, half a dozen of the other.

I think an American leaving does "check" with Immigration before leaving. It's just a lot more behind the scenes. I know I have to present a valid passport when purchasing a ticket and at the check in desk, where they scan it or otherwise put in the information. I know they check it at the gate, and I've been stopped when I had fewer than six months remaining on it so they could double check with the destination country. And I know my name and passport number wind up on the flight manifest (and in TSA's grubby little hands) before takeoff. And I know that when I underwent my background checks they had a pretty good idea of the places I'd been. So, I submit that Americans do, indeed, go through some form of check-in with Immigration, it's just not in a traditional form. Uncle is still keeping track of you. Mexico was always an exception. Not any more.

Not this year, but last year when it was still available, I had the Thai Airways non-stop from BKK to LAX. My checked luggage was scanned, as far as I know. My carry-ons were x-rayed. The embarrassed-as-all-hell Thai Airways staff had to hand-search all carry-ons at the gate and pat down all the passengers. So, my GOES card basically allowed me to skip the hellaciously long line at Tom Bradley. I think I was subjected to about the same level of scrutiny as all the other non-GOES passengers, but with a far less likely chance of going to secondary inspection. Is the country a lot safer because of this? I think that can be debated.
