Decided to head down to Tijuana and had a disappointing time. There was quite a few SG's out, but I was disappointed by the quality. There was this one SG by the Cascada that was hot, but she did not do BJ's. I was hoping to find Paulette or Patricia. I hung out for a few hours and decided to head back to the US. I have a regular girl that is fairly hot in the US and that is nice. Cross back into the US was horrendous. I had to wait over 2 hours cross the border. Also talked to Guadalupe and she is heading back to Acapulco at the end of the month.

The girls could be lying about coming from Veracruz. But I don't see a good a reason why they would lie about Veracruz.

Have noticed it too but don't believe all that say they are from Veracruz are actually from there. Many are from Puebla.

Got to agree with phord and others. Me thinks you are leaning in the right direction.

Have noticed that few mongers wear shorts, light colored pants / shirts.

The people with pastels, white or khaki attire usually are the SG's or guys from OC.

Recommend wrinkled, ripped, black, baggy attire and a dark ball cap. Kinda like your going to rob a bank. Ha!

You will blend in and won't usually get a second look.

IMHO the girls don't care how you look, as long as you are clean and occasionally crack a smile.

Some guys have to get out of the mind set that you must make a good first impression. The working girls are not looking for a soul mate. They want you to get up, get off then step aside until you are ready again.

Many girls are not up to date on currency fluctuation and prefer not to think about it or taking the extra effort to go to a rip off money changer.

"En pesos?" is my verbage.

Like to look at it like buying a used car. The dealer will ask for top dollar to see how you react, but will often take less.

Whether you like it or not, you will be judged by the color of your skin and the clothes that you wear. White and well-dressed = rich (or at least comfortable) and you'll often be charged more. Brown and poorly dressed (and speaking Spanish) = poor (or less rich.). You can't do a lot about your skin color, but you can dress down a bit. Jeans, sneakers and older button-up shirt work well.

When quoted in dollars, you ALWAYS respond with "No tengo dolares. Tengo pesos." or words to that effect. I can't recall a girl ever, at that point, refusing or quoting something higher than 10:1. That includes BGs.

I will say that, last month, a chica in Las Chavelas was trying to work her magic, and hustle a couple of drinks into the bargain. I was paying for the drinks with pesos. She looked at them, and, with a slightly disappointed expression, asked if I only had pesos. To which I replied "Yes.". So, they may prefer dollars these days, and folks may be stupid enough to still use them, but they will take pesos and it will be 10:1. If they balk, move on. There's not exactly a shortage of ladies in LZN.

Given my personal experience and reading recent posts, I'm starting to feel like a mark for the girls. I'm in a position where I can afford more SG and BG action than my body can enjoy, but I don't want to pay a peso more than the next monger. And it totally pisses me off to think that people like me may be screwing up the SG rate structure.

This warrants a trip to a thrift shop for some old clothes.

Interesting comment about the locals getting it for 100p, I didn't know that. Paulette (at the top of the hill) wanted 30 US, and that was not sin ropa; I moved on to another SG. Perhaps I should wear old beat up clothes to get a better price. I'm usually wearing typical US office clothes.
