You have to be careful. The last time I tried my Schwab debit card, the bank (Santander, I think) insisted on using their own exchange rate, which was about 1. 5 pesos less per dollar.

Buddy told me about this one. For anyone flying into San Diego heading to Tijuana.

Take the rental car shuttle to the rental car hub which is on the east side of the airport just a block from the Trolley Stop!

Until the blue line is extended. This method, which I have done in the past, requires shuttle- green-line- blue-line.

The shuttle goes through a depressing prison like road.

Easier is to take bus 992 to American Plaza and then take blue line.

Arriving into San Diego it is nice to take 992 because the drive down harbor drive is really beautiful. So I will do 992 to blue line unless the wait to bu 992 is 10 minutes. (it runs every 15).

It is much more costly to do 60 or 90 minute sessions when you need to pay for room rental in 15 minute chunks.

But since I always get a room at Cascadas. I don't have that added expense which makes it easy to have long sessions.

Last weekend I found some real gems on Calle Primera (one block behind the alley. Between constitution and "Ninos Heroes) ave).
