I noticed that the exterior rooms on the third floor were the larger "deluxe" rooms, and another monger told me that they don't rent those out for overnights. I haven't verified that, but they were not offered to me even though the clerk knew I would probably want one.

I am not sure about Sunday, but Monday-Wednesday the rooms at Coahuila (Adelita's) are only $20 for all night without needing a VIP card like Cascadas (Hong Kong) requires for a discount. A basic room at Cascadas (with a $50 VIP card) is $11 on Monday & Tuesday, and $55 without.

After a few beers and flirting with a girl all night at Adelitas, I ended up walking up first and getting a room at around 2 or 3 am. $20 gets you an interior room, with a window looking the hall way. Anyways rooms were nothing special and are like the basic rooms at HK. Anyways I always end up getting rooms at HK / Cas since there are 3 bars to take girls from. But for $20 for all night, I see what pickings there are in adelitas and then get a room. Not talking about short time room. I hate the knock and interruptions. Anyways for $20 you can get a room anytime. It's worth it if you can find a cheaper yet compatible girl at adelitas.

Otherwise I'the keep to cascades cause of the other bars.

I am not sure about Sunday, but Monday-Wednesday the rooms at Coahuila (Adelita's) are only $20 for all night without needing a VIP card like Cascadas (Hong Kong) requires for a discount. A basic room at Cascadas (with a $50 VIP card) is $11 on Monday & Tuesday, and $55 without.

Yes. You can pay $5 to get a key that you keep with you. It's an old fashioned metal key with one of those big plastic diamond-shaped keychains with the room number on it.

When I stayed there this month, I initially requested a room with an exterior window, because I heard that the interior rooms were hot. They told me that the exterior rooms were all on the second floor and had no key. At the time I thought they meant the doors didn't lock, but later I realized that they probably meant there were no keys to give to the guests and you'd need assistance every time you went to your room. In the end my room was fine, and an exterior room on the second floor overlooking Calle Coahuila would probably have been crazy noisy anyway.

As I recall, years ago, I stayed in overnight rooms on both the second and third floors. I stayed in rooms with windows facing Coahuila, but don't now remember if those rooms were on the 2nd or 3rd floor.

The first time I stayed overnight in Hotel Coahuila was back in 2005. I stayed two nights and spent over $15 giving $1 tips ever time I returned to my room, and needed a clerk to walk down the hall and unlock my room.

Then I learned by reading on website Tijuana Amigos that guests could simply leave a $5 refundable key deposit, and have their own room key for their visits.

I have not stayed in Hotel Coahuila (above Adelitas) for the last 10 years. Do they still have a refundable room key deposit?

This is a great deal, as you can then take girls up to the room at no extra charge for a short-time room, PLUS you have the use of the room for the rest of the time for a quick nap, or charging your phone, or just getting away from the noise. Even if you don't plan to stay overnight, it is worthwhile. It ends up being only like $5 more than one arriba, and if you do two arribas it actually saves you money.

Yes, the use of a short-term room upstairs for 30 minutes is a separate charge you pay to the (Coahuila Hotel) desk clerk. Adelitas Bar and Hotel Coahuila share the same building, but are separate businesses.

I can't remember but at Adelina's, when you take a girl upstairs, do, you have to pay for the room separately? Last time I was there was in 17 and I spend $100 for 2 girls but I don't remember spending on the room.

Probably double charge for 2 girls.

Use to do the same. Now most nights I am in Tijuana I do not even bother with Adelitas. Also, waiters have become way more aggressive. For me now I just stick with HK and the Casino, more then enough action for me.

Yes, there has been an upgrade to the bar and music, but until they improve the quality of girls, nothing will help. Even if they need to raise prices, staff is just putting band aids on the issues of poor talent.

If you use the VIP card at HK, it is just not that much more expensive and the talent, atmosphere, music is 100 times better. Use to love the place now I walk in and walk out.

Got to Ab last night at 830. Every year they make the place look better. Notice a 2nd floor in the back room. 2 big tvs. Most important, though, girls were poor. It was weds and it was early. Sat at he bar by the back, and was approached by maybe 10 girls in a short period of time. All were overweight, except, maybe 2. Left and went to Chicago.
