Walked into Adelitas Monday, night around 7 pm. , it was the worst I have ever seen it maybe 5-10 girls if that. It was raining, but still it was so bad, Saturday night was better. I met my friends there, but only had one drink, I just do not enjoy it any more. My friends do like it, but I am not sure if this is because they are cheap or just nervous.

I was there Saturday night and had a blast. Spent good time with Natasha and I would recommend.

Enjoyed it enough to go back Sunday and Monday. Two girls of note.

First, the good. Met Nancy. Awesome girl. Arranged to meet off duty. Looks wise, she is attractive. Personality is great. Very interesting person to talk to.

Then the bizarre. Met Catalina from Durango. So, the girl is friendly, aggressive with her paws and not unattractive. Very talkative. Not really pushy with fichas. But the funny stories were just bizarre. She might need to work on her sales pitch though. Wanted arriba. I just wasn't interested. Then, she was just telling me her life. How she's better off after catching her boyfriend with someone else. And, how since working at Adelitas, she is healthier. She no longer has "many vaginal infections " that he gave her. LOL Then she went on to describe things I didn't want to hear. Check please!

There's no such thing as 2 x 1 beers in the zona. They just sell you 2 beers for double the price of 1.

I walked in to Tropical this week for the first time ever. I asked for a beer. Gave him $3. He came back with 2 beers. Didn't ask for two but, OK. Opened the first. It wasn't warm but it was sure as hell wasn't cold. When I left about 60 seconds later, there were maybe 4 people in the place. Sad.

AFAIK 2 for 1 beers deals are valid any night at Tropical, Valentina, Capirucha.

Valid only on weeknights in Chicago. On weekends Chicago will give a free shot for the first beer bought.

Mermaids has a large sign in front, $1 beer, but you have to buy a bucket $10 for 10 beers.

These deals only apply to local beers, Tecate and Dos Equis, not premium brands.

HK has coupons for 2 free beers or any liquor, juice, soft drinks, any brand, for Monday and Tuesday, a very good deal. On weekends when HK sells a $7 Heineken cover, the bros can exchange it for any drink they want at the bar inside.

You can give the bartender your second beer and exchange it for a cold one. That's why they don't open the second one.

Some of the Tropical bartenders are pretty cool about giving you one beer and waiting for you to finish it before handing you a second. I always sit at the bar though because many of the meseros there are pretty irritating.

At Tropicals, some is key, the rest are dickheads setting you up to steal your change or stiff your drink. One fucker once brought my chica a 1/4 filled drink. Another walked away with my $20. Another took my chica and gave her to another dude when she came out of the restroom.

In general, I avoid all of the older meseros because they learned their trade under the older dive bar mentality of robbing the gringos blind. I Stick to the younger ones. I Make friends with just the younger meseros and develop a loyalty, especially the female meseros if there are any left.

Tropicals is notorious for the aggressive older waiters disappearing with your change.

You better articulated in more detail exactly why I sit at the bar and avoid the meseros altogether.

That's what I like a about AB, the waiters aren't pushy at all. At some of the other clubs the waiters are way too pushy with bringing me girls that I didn't ask for and I have to awkwardly decline over and over again. And the other thing I hate is the 2 x 1 scam the other places pull, to force you to drink two beers instead of just one at a time. In Adelita's I can just relax and go at my own pace. I've never had these issues in HK either, but I haven't spent much time in HK either.

The one thing about Adelitas is that the bar service seems nicer than in the past, and better than HK. The chicas appreciate your $1 tip instead of acting like they are entitled to it. The chicas are less pushy. The waiters are less pushy. Everyone is more mellow. IMHO Hong Kong has become what Adelitas was about 10 years ago, pushy waiters, rude doorman, entitled chicas with tons of implants. Adelitas has become my new default hang out, and I will probably not renew my VIP card when it expires.

No, Ticuan is separate. It is about a mile away, if that matters. It is relatively girl-friendly. But you won't find any discounts and the rooms are not inexpensive. Also, they rent by the night, not the hour.
