    Mayor

There will be a new mayor in Tijuana because mayor Monteserrat Caballero is not a candidate from the Moreno political party. The candidate for mayor of Tijuana from the Morena party is Ismael Burgueno Ruiz against Erik "Terrible" Morales former world boxing champion. I'm no expert but it looks like Adelita is closed because of Tijuana mayor Caballero.
I disagree that it's the Mayor that has kept AB closed. If that was the case why would the other bars be allowed to be open?

Looking at old things written and some other things it seems to be a family thing and fighting for control.

Move those ethics discussions somewhere else

I was happy seeing some posts here hoping someone's got intel on the club opening again.

Just a bunch of people debating the game. Move along, move along.

Yes it's very hard to stay on topic sometimes in this short form because I'm not going to waste a lot of time or space trying to explain every detail. I have things I try to get to and many different angles going thru my head when I write on something. Unfortunately when I write it I tend to know what I'm talking about in my mind but the reader has a harder time following what I might be trying to express.

Thanks for the insight and I'll try to do better.

    Laws

I don't think you can categorize marijuana and alcohol as the same. If that was the case why not legalize all drugs? Oregon tried this and now they are seeing the problems it causes.

If prostitution was a simple case of a woman's man coming to a mutual agreement in the privacy of a business I don't think it would be so hard but weather it's legal or not women will continue to be taken advantage of. So I think now it's just looked at one of those things that's going to happen and they don't do much to deter it.

I have no guilt complex. I just don't live in a fantasy world like some of you and think that if not doing this job these girls couldn't do anything else.

When it comes to making it legal in the US I like to look at the negative side of it as well not just what would be good for me. Just think of every girl or guy that would be getting into this work has a parent and if you would want that for your kid. I've spent a majority of my life in this world and have gotten as close as one can get to girls that have worked in it so I see the side of it that most don't especially when they are past their prime.

Agree US laws on prostitution are arcane

Agree US laws on prostitution are arcane.

I think they are governed by women (indirectly) - men are afraid of passing laws to legalize prostitution because of fear of backlash from women.

Women's pussy value will go down considerably if they legalize prostitution. Because men would no longer need to tolerate their women's bullshit or put up with fat wives.

Even liberal city like San Francisco has sting operations to catch johns. I know close friends who were arrested & finger printed by SFPD. The district attorney then legally extorts $1500 via their 'first offender program' in exchange to not go to trial. The whole thing is BS.

Maybe you don't live in CA but a DUI here can ruin your life and depending the job you have it could get you fired and difficult to find a new job. Many women claim that they would stay with a man who cheated on them with a prostitute compared to having an affair so the wife definitely won't be happy it's not a guarantee that it will lead to a divorce. That's why I made the statement that about what if you kill a person because now your probably going to jail. It's not comparing homicide with paying for sex exactly just an extreme example of what could happen. Same way that an extreme example of seeing a prostitute and you got some STD or AIDS and passed it on to your partner.

Both activities occur thousands of times each day but only a small percentage get caught.

    Of course

Also, your analogy with drunk driving is off base because a drunk driving charge has nowhere near the destructive effect of a prostitution charge on a man's career and marriage if married. Sure, you said what if you kill someone. Are you really comparing homicide with paying for pussy? That's an even worse analogy.
