Step foot in Adelitas at 7 pm or so and the place was full of dogs. So I decided to leave and come back after 10 pm to give it a shot. At about 11 pm, I walked in. At the door I a fat little waiter waived me to come with him. I tell him that I want to see the place first. He puts his hands up and tells me there is no cover charge, but I have to buy a drink. I again said I want to look around first. He raises his hands and stops me and tells me I must buy a drink first, but there is no cover charge.

WTF? I don't bother talking with a manager because there are plenty of other clubs not playing this game. I turn and I leave.

Thanks for the comment and perspective, guys. I wrote about this while shortly after it happened while I was still hammered, so I was still in the moment. Now while sober and some time has passed, I can see it for what it was. Might have to keep away from Adelitas for a bit to stay away from unnecessary drama, nothing else is going to really come from it.

How do you maximize the amount of time you can sit down at a table with a chica without breaking your wallet having to pay for another $10 drink every 3-5 minutes? I see some guys sitting with girls grinding on them for over an hour. I feel I can only sit down with a girl for maybe 15 minutes max before I feel I either have to cut her loose or just go arriba already because I'm hemorrhaging too much money on drink requests. How are the pros staying at the tables so long?

Depends. Some girls do not drink that fast and they would spend more time talking. In my personal opinion, I can find out after first drink or max second, that, is that the girl I want or not. If yes, will buy few more. If not adios. .

The ones that kill the drinks in 3-5 minutes will likely give you a rushed service or set the timer when you take them arriba. Cut them loose.

I think chemistry has everything to do with it. I've had moments where the lady is either tipsy or attracted and they straddle me and start making out popping a nipple out for me to suck on. HK is like a mesh of tunnels that you have to scavenge through to see all the girls. Adelita is like Serengeti Plain. You sit at the bar stool with a drink and you get to see the whole game.

I also prefer the customers / clientele that frequent Adelitas. They're not as raucous / rude as the guys that hit up HK. They're not nearly as drunk as HK dudes and you never find someone like the fat dude at HK making it rain in Adelitas and making just a stupid scene. It's also never too crowded at Adelitas so you can comfortably walk around. However, the smaller crowd is also probably due to the lower quality of women lately at Adelitas. 4-5 years ago I could always find a super hot trophy at Adelitas within a few minutes of arriving; now it takes a much longer time and often I don't even find one if my usual go to girls are not there. At HK the girls are just an entire league higher in quality, but as I mentioned in my earlier post, their attitude, the way they hang out in crowds, constantly being snatched by aggressive men, makes it harder to actually sit with them at HK.

Adelitas... I found it easier to approach women there due to the setup of the club and how you could easily see basically everyone that was present in the club from just sitting in one spot. HK is too big and I find the girls are harder to approach based on where they're standing and how they position themselves. However, I have to admit though that the quality of Adelitas girls has gone significantly down compared to HK. / upgrade.

Arrived super late, or super early, at 3 AM this past Friday at HK looking to hit it and quit it. After looking around for 30 minutes at the options, they were either sub-par or not my type. Before taking an L for the night I went over to Adelitas for the first time; everyone was in plain sight. In 5 minutes I found cute Colombian chick and from there I went down to business. To do the same in HK would have taken me at least 20 minutes just to scope out all the girls in a nonchalant way. There's still hope to Adelitas, but like ABAJoeSmith123 says, Adelitas needs to start doing some upgrades to stay competitive.

HK is too big and I find the girls are harder to approach based on where they're standing and how they position themselves. However, I have to admit though that the quality of Adelitas girls has gone significantly down compared to HK. Most of the women there are either really old, ugly, or flat chested (I prefer enhanced). There are still a few good ones, but the overall average is quite bad now for quality of chicas at Adelitas. Their upstairs hotel also looks nasty compared to the nicely modernize HK hotel. Adelitas is in serious need of a facelift / upgrade.
