As soon as he returned the masero ushered him out into the alley where the guy pulled out a gun and shot him. The HK was shut down for a period of time but I forget for how long. This is also when bars started to pat down patrons upon entering. Before this incident at HK I don't ever remember being touched up before entering a bar in the zona. It sucks that the actions of a few have to ruin it for the many. Most problems are contained and I've always felt safe in the zona. IMHO they do a good job. Moe.
There was an incident in Tropical a few years back where a guy came into the bar with a gun to shoot his girlfriend. He ended up getting shot and killed by the policia outside the bar as he ran. My ex girlfriend from Tropical (her name is Yamilet for all those of you who remember all of my trials and tribulations with her) was sitting in Tropical a few years back with another girl. A local came over, started chatting her up and told her to let him see her cell phone. Yamilet refused, at which point the guy punched her straight in the face and broke her nose. The waiters cornered him and the policia came and took him to jail. I met a girl in Tropical one night years ago and she told me she wanted to see me again outside of the bar. Apparently, her boyfriend caught wind of this, called me and told me that he would shoot and kill me if I ever was seen with her in Tropical. Dude was some big ass biker from Columbia. Needless to say, I stayed out of there for years.

If you read the news a lot, almost every strip club in USA has had a ton of shootings over the years. The most vicious I've read were in queens nyc. You could make a movie out of the shootings in that place. Most of the drama happens in the parking lot, just this year a San Diego padre get stabbed after issue in San Diego strip club. Even in Los Angeles in nicest neighborhood you can get shot walking your dog if someone wants your dogs or wants to ransom your dogs.

It was such a non-event they didn't even stop the music. The shooter escaped and the victim was treated on the property by the Red Cross. I don't even think the cops were called. The bars try to keep things as low profile as possible. Besides AB, in the past 5 years I can recall 3 shootings in Tropical (chica and manager wounded, shooter killed by police), 2 in HK and 3 in La Malquerida.
I also remember 1 hit in front of the Chicago club. Plus a hit on some cop a couple of blocks over. Plus some shootout 3 blocks south.
About 2 blocks North of HK is drug central and I remember Mexican Marines doing a bust on the street while 3 cops were hiding behind the pickup scared shitless.

The crowd was bloody amazing. And the vibe was really cutting edge. It's killing me to not be able to go back again this week.

I was there Saturday night. It was actually pretty difficult walking down that hall. After seeing the video so many times, it's just surreal.
It was oddly reassuring that the doorman did a fairly decent pat down. Understandable, for sure.
How was the crowd? And vibe?

Adelita's bloody scene
Dcrist,
A could not go in that hallway and have fun remembering a girl just had her throat slit and her chest stabbed by a guy, and died in a pool of blood.
Potentially any girl could be victim of brutal crimes by delusional and jealous losers who hang out in putas bars trying to prove they can get true love.
Perhaps putas bars should insist guys carry a certificate of physical and mental health for admission. A lot of pervs in this forum would flunk hehe.

Video of the murder
A post on the facebook page, "Rosarito Crime Watch", Feb 12th shows CCTV footage of the murder. Other posts on the same page give some background of her life. That she was a single mom and her BF sent her to work in the bar, etc. In any case, what a waste of a cute girl.

Adelitas was open again. Touts on the street were trying to get us to go up, but I was still shocked by the pics of the young girl lying dead with her eyes wide open on a pool of her darkened blood in the hallway, so I did not go up.
It was very sad that a deranged guy brutally took her sweet life for petty reasons.

I went back to the link where I saw it, and it had been taken down. A lot of sites probably did the same thing. It was grisly!

I think it's possible that the guard (s) at the Tijuana prison / jail will somehow look another way, while some prisoners have their way with him (not necessarily talking bubba type thing).
This heinous thing he did, is on camera, available to all after all. There's a 50/50 chance, I'm thinking, of him staying alive by the time he ever gets deported back to US if that happens.
