Giving a waiter a $100 is one of the best ways to find a trustworthy waiter. Each bar I go into I try to have a waiter that knows me and I only deal with him. Sometimes they don't stick around, especially CC seems to always have different waiters.

This easily takes the prize as the worst advice of 2023 posted here. LOL. As if wasting your time trying to find "trustworthy" mesero is worth it, let alone be cheated out of your cash in the process. Almost as bad as trying to find Tijuana hookers with a heart of gold to date and marry.

When it comes to meseros. Best thing you can do is minimize any interactions with these f'ckers.

Well I suppose finding a "trustworthy" mesero is important to you. Not so much for me as I spend 90-95% of my time in the club either sitting at the bar (as opposed to a table), or standing up and walking around. You get hounded much less by meseros if you're sitting at the bar rather than at a table which is how I prefer it. Personally not interested in getting to know any of the meseros or having them hunt down chicas for me (would much rather find the chicas I like myself) but to each his own. I'm personally not interested in handing a $100 bill to a mesero and worrying about the 5% or so chance that he might not come back or comes back and tries to give the wrong change LOL.

I'm with you. In hk other night two waiters smashed their clocks into me while I'm sitting st the bar. They couldn't go to the spot their supposed to walk to to give crap to bartender. They chose between two bar seats and I got to feel their ducks on my knees and legs. I get grossed out with men touching me. Fat guys in the club do the same thing rubning all over me. I do t want to touch these waiters I do t want them talking loud 4 inches from my face maybe giving me covid, I don't want to deal with them money wise and have to get a manager to get my money back. I sure don't need them to lock me out a girl as if I have no idea what I'm looking at.

At this time let him know that if you want anything else you will ask for him.

I usually tell them that I'm not interested yet but when I do I will make sure to let them know so they know I will be using them to buy fichas. I know for some that don't speak Spanish this may be more difficult but most waiters said will know enough English that the 2 of you will be able to understand each other.

Under no circumstances would I ever give a mesero a larger bill than a $20. If I need to break a larger bill would just go directly to the bar to do it. Bar meseros can be shady as well but much much less likely to try to screw you like that to your face vs. A table mesero who can walk off and say anything. But I always have more than enough smaller bills for the club and save $100 bills only for the chicas.

Then he never brought any change & claimed I only gave him a $10 bill. Then why would he at first bring over a bucket? Tried to get mgmt involved, but they were ultimately useless. It's a real shame because in my several visits in 2019 to 2021 and my visit later in Summer 2022 that night was the best lineup I had seen at Adelitas. Worse further, the women I was with I later overheard another monger exclaiming she was one of his best sexo sessions ever.

They genuinely get angry now where is hk waiters don't take it so personal like you preventing them feeding their family. After my lap I'm standing hoping a bar stool opens up. If I sit at a table I can't talk to any woman except the ones waiters bring over. At which point I have to buy them a drink within 30 seconds, with the waiter listening to whatever we talk about for 30 seconds. Its like going on a date with a woman's brother or dad watching. That's why I never sit at tables. So some boss kept sending waiters to get me to buy a drink as I'm standing still. Every 30 seconds, I kept telling them give me 1 minute please. So I was only standing still 90 seconds without a drink and the waiter said I had to buy a drink. At this I'm like, no problem I'll leave. Then he's yelling at me for leaving. I'm thinking,. Wow bro, you just yelled at me for not being ready to buy a drink immediately now your gona yell when I'm leaving. I always buy my drinks from bartenders, this bartender is similarly annoying but the whole concept of 2 waiters for every guy monitoring your every move trying to sell you food and flowers and stuffed animals and drinks constantly. Real turn off.

This is so disappointing. Back 15 years ago when I went to Adelitas (and even 20 years ago when I would go a bit more), they would just basically let you hang out without getting a table. They'd let you ogle the women and just make laps unmolested and no pressure to buy anything if you didn't sit. What a shame to hear it has changed. I guess the only constant in life is change though. I went into Adelitas two weeks ago and didn't really see any women that caught my eye, and that was on a Saturday night no less which surprised me. Way back when, that was my spot!

Waiters are not interested in making sense. They're interested in making money.

On the other hand, it seems reasonable to me for the house to expect everyone to buy a drink. They could easily impose a "minimum". This, of course, does not excuse the a-whole behavior described here.

Stayed away from bars for a while after a incident with a off duty girl at different bar. Anyway returned to afelitas 2 days ago. Was looking for this girl who I bought 6 drinks and good for 10 days earlier. She was alpt of fun. This time I found her but the chemistry was gone. It was like midnight when I showed up. I'm usually gone by this time. I don't know if that's the reason or not but she wasn't very good during her teo drinks. Near the end of 2nd drink she wanted food again. "Sorry got to catch last trolley in San Diego bye". I had a hotel on revolution street. So around 1240 am I'm trying to walk back to hotel without getting robbed. One guy got mad I wouldn't give him a dollar. Then a black girl asked If I'm from states. "nope" kept moving faster. Anyone trying to slow my pace on empty streets is figuring how to rob me in my mind. When I checked out of hotel in morning saw a girl in lobby checking in who tried to get me to take her to my hotel at around 11 pm on revolution street 5 days earlier. Her I actually talked to as I was in front of Ceasars. But I don't bring girls to my hotel the maids and staff give me grief, questions, comments the next day.
