I hear from so many guys that the late 90's to early 2000's was the peak time for clubbing & mongering fun in numerous different places. Too bad I was too young back then. Every year girls seem to get more clueless.

At least Tijuana still has good options at reasonable rates.

Adelitas was good like 20 years ago, I don't like it anymore at all. I only went because one of my regulars started working there in the past. She has since quit too.

Oh we need a day of reminiscing about the Tijuana clubs back in the mid 1990's to early 2000's, yes 25 years ago and if the walls of CC and AB (and even that small hole in the wall club called Hong Kong, wow flashback) could talk they would tell of the countless nights that The Tall Man partied with some Latina cuties.

Oh those were the days and now The Tall Man lives for 4 years in Medellin, Colombia and enjoys the Latina's to the fullest be them from Cali or Cartagena or Bogota or my home city of Medellin, 25 years later and the desires and thirst still as strong as before.

Every week enjoy 4 to 6 chicas, usually different chicas but some repeats every week because they are so cute and pure and fun.

Life is good and thanks for the flash back!

I kind of agree with you on this. I never seen AB is fishy on tips or drinks but experienced this few weeks ago in AB. I bought 2 drinks to a chica and she left and Ordered another one for 2nd chica. Waitress charged for 2 drinks. When I asked why, he said I did not pay for first girl's first drink. I tried various ways to explain him that I paid already, but he acted like he is not understanding. I paid and left. AB have to pay attention on these guys. They are going to loose their valued long term customers. , not going to AB any more.

Europe plants lots of vines and produce lots of wines. Most are cheap; people drink them instead of water.

Fancy restaurants and casinos in Vegas stock some expensive wines, $500-600 a bottle; champagnes for $1,200 - 1,500. They don't taste or smell much better than cheap wines. While HK has the price list of all their liquors posted clearly above the bar, Adelita is counting on guys' ignorance about wines and sell $10 wine bottles of unknown labels for $140. I bet the stupid, greedy girls and meseros get a big cut out of it.

I would let the girls order their drinks but ask the meseros what they ordered and what prices before agreeing to them. Don't let these stupid people rip you off like fools.

Adelita really pisses me off with that stupid trick. From now on I would just stop buying any drinks in Adelita and pee all around their banos when the retarded attendant is not looking. Never found any hot girls worth buying fichas in Adelia any way, only old, saggy housewives 5 times divorced with 10 kids.

Not only did my friend get charged that much but when he asked to speak with a manager the manager backed the waiter.

I do agree that this stuff never happens in HK. I think HK does so well in their business they tell their waiters not to play these games. I have done buckets of beer, vip areas and the lap dance areas in HK over the years. Never have I felt I was getting hustled there.

This is not the first really bad experience I know of at Adelitas. A couple years ago they had a girl working on her period. They would not let me shower without paying more. I went to Cascadas to shower as I was not giving that place any more of my money. One of my wingman said even after he reported her to management she was allowed to keep working.

Can definitely tell how different clubs have different standards. HK and Tropical seems to be customer service orientated. Adelitas seems to treat their customers like a Stupid Trick.

My friend asked the girl how much the wine was and she said she did not know. It took him multiple tries to get the waiter back over to ask how much the wine was. Eventually the waiter came back and he was told the total for 2 beers and 2 bottles of wine was $286.

Last time I was in Adelita Bar the girl I was sitting with asked if she could have wine. I asked how much it was and she said 140. I asked "Pesos?" and she said "No. Dollars". I laughed and told her no and she seemed fine with a regular $10 drink.

Always ask if they order anything but a beer.

IMHO, wine is a such a rare liquor and I would think that only a make it rain kind of tourist would order it to impress women. So I would not be surprise that Adelitas stock a few of these expensive bottles for those deep pockets. So $300 for wine isn't that weird for me. He should have just order bucket of beer. Beer is what Mexican women drink anyways. At least in the Zona Norte. This is not fucking Paris. Why the fuck is he ordering wine?

Had a friend who learned a lesson at Adelitas about high cost drinks. Two guys and three girls sat down at table. The guys told the waiter to get the girls drinks. My friend was told something about a cheaper drink for all the girls (his memory of the details is not the best). The waiter brought two cheap bottles of wine in 2 buckets for the girls and 2 beers for the guys. The waiter poured drinks for all the girls and left without asking payment. My friend asked the girl how much the wine was and she said she did not know. It took him multiple tries to get the waiter back over to ask how much the wine was. Eventually the waiter came back and he was told the total for 2 beers and 2 bottles of wine was $286. I personally would have not paid but apparently he paid and claimed it was a learning experience. I am sure the vets laugh at a story like this. I personally never herd of anything to this level and I have seen some things over the many years I been going to the Zona. Maybe this helps the new people going. Maybe this just gives people a good laugh.

Personally I have learned any club besides HK will play games with the drinks. Like I said have never seen anything to this level. I have seen games played with buckets of beer for $90, have seen a waiter tell a guy if he did not buy a 2nd bucket of beer before the 1st bucket was all consumed that the girl would leave and have seen games played with specific areas of the clubs at Chicago. Chicago, Tropical and Adelitas play games with the bucket of beer hustle. This near $300 wine trick is a first for me..

I wouldn't say this is a club thing because there's plenty of crooked waiters in the other clubs that are plotting to steal your change. Your friend must have been drunk or there's more to the story. A guy who's drunk with 3 girls might get caught up in the party and not be aware enough to clarify the order. Anyone with common sense would clarify what exactly they're ordering before they order it.

I had similar weird experience, but didn't go through with getting the lady her $70 tequila. I did get a 5 beer bucket for another lady, but don't recall it being more than $50. It was so I could sit on second floor above the second stage. A little more private as another bro was finger fucking a chica on other side of floor. The mesero was trying to convince me to get some wine and I think he was trying to say it was $120 and it would actually save me money in the long run, which I didn't quite understand the concept. I just said we were going arriba. It seems like they like the drink hustle game the most in Adelitas which kind of turns me off and haven't found any regulars in the club either. Both times I was with chicas from Venezuela, not sure where the Mexican chicas are as the Venezuelans are aggressive.

Me I have learned if a bucket is delivered without discussion of the price I tell the waiter to leave. If he hesitates at all than I leave the club and go find another place to have fun. On any given night I have find great times at HK and 2 of the other major clubs around the Zona. I do not need any games the waiters play.

I have seen a wasted monger dancing with his chica at Tropicals while his favorite meseros pop open beers after beers and pour it away in the ice bucket. How's that for a trusty mesero?

I don't think Adelita stocks expensive wines or champagnes. They don't even have premium beers, mostly cheap local brands. Your friend was scammed and the girls were splitting the proceeds with the mesero.

HK has a price list of all liquors posted over bar Kowloon so you know exactly what you pay for. If I buy fichas for new girls, I would ask the meseros what they ordered and prices before agreeing to buy. Fortunately all HK girls I drank with have been very nice, only order their little putas' beers or glasses of water with drops of cranberry juice. Most would prefer to go to the hotel and make more money than drinking in the bar. A few said straight out, "no fichas, solo sexo. "

I would rather give these sweet girls big propinas than getting ripped off in the bar and make bar owners richer and fatter.

Mentality always struck me as odd and we might die tomorrow, so is that $4 going to do anything for your loved ones when you pass? They can't even get a value meal from McD.

100 percent. I could see if a drink was 20 bucks which would be 40 a round. If you aren't that wealthy that could add up but 4 is normal and you have a 19 year old in a bikini next to you. What more do you want in life. I guess that's why a lot of the girls do have a hatred for some mongers and go through depression from their job. Treat the girl like a human being even if she is a hooker. Ain't that hard.
