They also hate the HK fee to work at HK (yes, the girls pay HK $100 for paper work when they start to work at HK or coming back from an extended vacation). And they think HK management are fools.

Posts: 592Adelitas possibly reopening soon.
A long-time chica at Adelitas is telling me that the reopening of Adelitas MIGHT be imminent (maybe even as early as today). She said the lights were back on outside for the club advertisements and that workers were cleaning up inside. Still just a rumor (and might just be moreso wishful thinking on her part) but we'll see. Heard some other details (more speculation, though she seems confident) from another chica who's worked at both Adelitas and HK on why Adelitas closed. I'll try to post those details later today.

She is getting work at CC, but is not too happy about it.

But Adelitas is essentially a "mom and pop" shop (albeit a very popular, well-known one, even if they are struggling right now) so probably don't have the resources to have that kind of influence at the federal level. Will say that I am speculating a bit here, but it does seem more and more like Adelitas will be shut down for a long while at this point. Definitely have sympathy for all the chicas that are just trying to support their families. Hope everything works out and that they find jobs at other clubs if they need to.

So now (2:30 pm Thursday) more information is coming out and since it only involves AB I'm just going to keep it in this thread. Now the news is saying that a female came to the authorities telling them that she was basically being forced to work in the bar with no freedom. Seems a little vague but it's still early. So the authorities raided the bar and confiscated items in the office including the video surveillance tapes. Some reports also mentioned tax evasion and trafficking.
So I wouldn't plan on AB being open anytime soon as a few employees were taken into custody including the general manager one report said. Other reports I read didn't mention some of these details so this early I would just wait and see what really happens. If any of you had a fav that worked in Ab I'm sure you can get a good price for them to see you at a Tijuana motel.
Since I was looking at multiple articles I'm not going to post each link here but all I did to find the info was did a search "noticias Adelitas Tijuana" and you can find multiple articles about it you just need to translate them.

Posts: 592AB shut down for the moment
As of right now (as I'm posting Thursday afternoon) Adelita's is still closed from yesterday's raid from what I'm hearing. Stickers posted on the doors by local authorities indicating the place is still closed. Might take a few days to open back up but now sure. HK and the other clubs still up and running from what I understand.
