Adelitas has been bad lately. It smells and the quality of the girls is way down. I stopped in Monday late just to see if any diamonds in the rough and on my way out noticed the girl on stage was putting on a hell of a show to absolutely no one. There were maybe 5 customers in the entire place and none near the stage.

I sat down and gave her a few dollars and she pulled her g-string to the side to reveal a butt plug. In all my years in the zona this was a first.

Why the hell would you give a waiter 100.00. Of course they won't rip you off if you give them that much. That's more than the change they try and screw you on or the 30.0 wine drinks. They are not your friends. That's why I like amnesias and Dejavu. Not as many girls but the server stands by the wall and if you need something you can call them over. I Hooked up with a 10 in amnesias last time. Got real lucky. Paid her 150 to come to my hotel. DD natural. I couldn't believe she was in there. It's always hit or miss in there. HK is a shit show. I prefer a setup where you have a big entrance fee to enter like Brazil but when you walk in there are no waiters. Nothing but girls and some security. Brazil does it right. They don't have to make a bunch on drinks because they charge 30.00 to get in. The entrance fees also keeps the broke idiots out.

I agree with you. Less meseros. The better. I miss campo allegre in Curacao that has closed; I believe; passed the entrance door, only women. No mesero to follow you like a poodle.

I literally have done this exact same thing countless times. Never once has a mesero or any member of the staff expressed anger toward me. Perhaps there is something you're doing inadvertently to receive the consistent poor treatment you so often write about. I'm not being facetious.

If I sit at a table I can't talk to any woman except the ones waiters bring over. At which point I have to buy them a drink within 30 seconds, with the waiter listening to whatever we talk about for 30 seconds. Its like going on a date with a woman's brother or dad watching. That's why I never sit at tables. So some boss kept sending waiters to get me to buy a drink as I'm standing still. Every 30 seconds, I kept telling them give me 1 minute please. So I was only standing still 90 seconds without a drink and the waiter said I had to buy a drink. At this I'm like, no problem I'll leave. Then he's yelling at me for leaving. I'm thinking,. Wow bro, you just yelled at me for not being ready to buy a drink immediately now your gona yell when I'm leaving. I always buy my drinks from bartenders, this bartender is similarly annoying but the whole concept of 2 waiters for every guy monitoring your every move trying to sell you food and flowers and stuffed animals and drinks constantly. Real turn off.

I love this post. Man, you think if the staff of these bars were to read all our complaints they would even care, but they would not.

We should encourage the noobs somehow to read these forums up with so much wisdom on here.

Was in my hotel sat night, couldn't drink 2 days in row, couldn't eat a 4th meal need to lose weight. Nothing to do so wandered revolution and then zona Norte, went into Adelitas because I figured a could buy a soda. HK was charging entrance fee again with the free beer. I wouldn't get a bar seat on weekend so just went to Adelitas. There was a decent amount of woman at 10 pm. A lot the girls had some nice tits, a tall one looked 30 with tats all over great body pretty face. Of course the girl I had bought drinks twice in 3 weeks finds me. I would told her no drink, the 1st time she was great, fun, flirty kissing me. Bought her 6 drinks and food. The 2nd time her enthusiasm was reduced 70% so just 2 drinks and told her no to her food request. This time she sat at bar next to me ten minutes, not really flirting but said a few things, only reason I bought her 1 drink was because she didn't ask immediately. This time she drank it very slow 20 minutes as opposed to 7 minutes the other time but she wasn't touching me or flirting at all. That's been my experience, find a fun girl who remembers me but the next time she's just no fun. Its possible they were high the time I thought they were fun. One time a girl took hit weed in a room, a street girl, she was begging me for sex. I made her beg a while because I was determined to just do oral as I didn't want to touch the bed. Its nice to have a girl beg for sex once in a while.

There's always this scrawny looking black dude that walks around adelitas like a drunk homeless fool. Always goes onto the stage and tries to "dance" and dry hump with the girl performing on stage. Such a turn off. This dude would never be allowed in HK. Not sure why adelitas meseros don't kick his ass out.

On another note, the columbian wearing the cowboy thigh high boots was back and she looked incredibly hot but she got occupied with some dude in the VIP section for literally over 2 hours. Didn't wait around for her since it was taking so long. Maybe next time.

I second this. I sit at the bar and drink. I tip the bartender I know the price of drinks I bring small bills, $1 $5 $10 this way no need to see if they will stiff you. It's a good control to have.

So do I get some type of trophy for this or is it a cash prize? Should I give an acceptance speech?

We all enjoy the Zona in different ways, in my many years of going I've always had positive experiences with waiters that I deal with and they know that I only deal with them. I've also been with other friends in the Zona and learned from them that if you treat people with respect you will get treated with respect in return. I look at it in this way, as a society we are more apt to treat a person we know better than a complete stranger.

Many on this board hate all waiters for whatever bad experiences they have had. You say it's best to minimize any interactions with them but depending on what you like to do sometimes you can't avoid them so I just provide a different strategy that has worked very well for myself and those I have spent numerous times drinking with in Tijuana. I go to Tijuana to have fun and not be concerned that everyone is going to steal from me. If you've had nothing but bad experiences with waiters I know your just set in your ways and like a person that may have negative views on a person of a certain race or religion because of a bad experience it makes you look at the entire group in that way. I'm not here to say every waiter is a good person but they aren't all criminals.

Well I suppose finding a "trustworthy" mesero is important to you. Not so much for me as I spend 90-95% of my time in the club either sitting at the bar (as opposed to a table), or standing up and walking around. You get hounded much less by meseros if you're sitting at the bar rather than at a table which is how I prefer it. Personally not interested in getting to know any of the meseros or having them hunt down chicas for me (would much rather find the chicas I like myself) but to each his own. I'm personally not interested in handing a $100 bill to a mesero and worrying about the 5% or so chance that he might not come back or comes back and tries to give the wrong change LOL.

I understand that I'm in the minority and enjoy sitting with a girl for hours if they are fun and interesting, so to have one waiter that I deal with makes things much easier. If your dealing with multiple waiters you will find that each one is coming buy trying to get me to buy another drink. I think this is one of the things that many on this board has discussed as well and yes it's very annoying. When I have one waiter that I am dealing with he will give me my space and occasionally stop by to check on us. Sometimes some there waiter will come by and try get me to buy a new drink for myself or the girl and I just let them know that I have a waiter that I'm working with and if I need anything I will get it from him. Most of the time the waiters will know and I'm never bugged but it happens occasionally.

If your the type to just take a girl to the room and not wanting to buy drinks I understand your point, I also enjoy picking the girl as well. Usually I will only sit at a table once I have found a girl that I'm interested in since being at the bar allows me to get a better view of everything. If you never want to trust a waiter with getting back your change for $100 I get it but I've never been taken advantage of when using the method I mentioned.
