It's been awhile since I actually sat and stayed at A / be. Since I got bored at H / k, I said what the heck, let's chill a little at A / be.

It wasn't crowded and there were a few who looked decent. One thing about our playing the game. It's all about timing. Most times I would walk into and out of A / be not knowing if I missed a stunner or not. By chilling out there, you get to see some of the beauties who were upstairs, on break, or just starting up.

The few times I walked in and out, I used to think, man this place has gone down hill. But after chilling out there for a while, there were at least 4 chicas I would do. The one I did take up was named America. She has one of the most beautiful faces that I have seen. At least IMHO. Only problem, her body was thicker than I like.

I did buy her a drink and she slowly drank it. In fact she had a great personality but I wasn't sure if I wanted to take her up because of her bigger body. Anyways, since she was cool downstairs, I said what the heck, let's go upstairs.

I'm not familiar with the girl, but the sales tactic sounds familiar. She's the only girl in Adelita Bar that won't go upstairs, but for you papi, she'll make an exception. That's exactly what I was thinking when my BS meter went off but my BS meter isn't that great which is why I sought a second opinion. I talked to this girl a couple of times just when I was bored waiting around for the girl who I really wanted to see was busy. What gets me interested in this girl is the mixed signals she sends. I'm in Adelita Bar almost once a week and most of the girls know me, when a new one asks me if I've ever been in the bar before I'll say no. I'll act surprised when she says we should go up to the room. And she'll be surprised when it seems like most of the girls and staff know me.

Another tactic they will use if they think you're new is to say they've only been working there a week. There was one girl I was with twice over a year or so but on every occasion it was her first week. And I still see her there. The girls use whatever tactics they think will work. If you're looking for honesty, I suggest you don't try and find them in zone norte. Sure, there's the hooker with a heart of gold. And there are strippers that are honestly stripping to pay for college. But there's a lot of mentiras as well.

There is a big independent scene. It's pretty accessible, but you'll need fairly decent Spanish, and probably some wheels if you want do do the incall thing. I'd make more of an effort in that regard, excpet I have no wheels in Tijuana, and I have a helluva time with foreign languages over the phone. So, booking appointments can be a challenge.

Also, no local guy is going to go into some bar, come out with a chica and parade around town with a hooker on his arm. It's still a pretty conservative country, and you would ruin your career instantly if you were spotted doing so. So, there is never going to be much of a local market for anything but incall and discreet outcall.

There are local bars where ladies are available, but, again, you'd better be fairly fluent and you'd better like "local" ladies. All the pretty ones, and some who are not, gravitate to the zona. That's where the money is.

As far as the gringo market is concerned, it's the zona. Hardly anybody goes outside of the zona because it's easy and gringo-centric. Also, it's the official zone of tolerance. You'd have a very hard time opening up some sort of hooker club, with independent take-out, anywhere else in the city. First because of the laws, second because you'd never get any gringo customers. AFAIK, two or three families control the zona, and I don't think they like competition too much. So, opening up such a place in the zona, well, let's just say the odds of success are slim.

So, unfortunately, it is what it is. One has to accept Tijuana on its own terms. There are much better places get your freak on, but none closer!

Man, for $350 you can have ten nights with 10 different girls, including stunners, in the PI. Of course there is that airline ticket. I just go to Tijuana in between trips to Asia. Enjoy!

I hear you. However, time is money, and the 20 hour trip (each way) + time zone issues must be considered in addition to the cost of an international ticket.

My conclusion, if you can only spare a few days, Tijuana wins (it helps that I find myself in San Diego several times a year anyway) , but anything more than that it is PI hands down.
