I was having breakfast in the restaurant nextdoor at about 8:30 one morning after staying overnight at Cascadas. The sausage and eggs consisted of scrabbled eggs with sliced hotdogs, and the coffee was Sanka dispensed from a syrup bottle. It was classic. Anyways all the girls showing up for their early shift at AB were coming in for a cup of cofffee. It was good to get a good look at them in the light. Even though my friend and I were eating, they knew why we were hanging out in TJ. They definitely flirtred with us, maybe they wanted a few quick bucks early in the morning.

They were cleaning AB and we were told they opened at 9am.

I have always considered early morning as bargain hunting.

The chicas who are out need pesos and there is not a lot of customers.

You can get a better price without a rush.

Great advantage to staying the night in TJ.

I was there once at around 10am on a Saturday. It was empty and like only four or five girls. I was the only guy there. This was a holiday though. I've been there at around 12 pm noon on a saturday, non holiday and found it crawling with chicas and customers. So yeah, it opens up early.

sorry my first post has to be a question but i am planning a day trip to tj friday and am just curious if anyone knows the actual hours of the adelita bar. i've heard 6pm to 6am. and i got this off of another website: "the bar opens during the day and stays open all night and into the early morning". question is what time exactly during the day. thanks. i look forward to posting a report when i return.

a lot of the girls work a 6pm to 6am shift. but it's open a lot earlier. probably around 9am or 10am, but i've never been there that early. plenty of selection by noon.

i've been there at 11am in the morning just because i was putting in a bet at caliente and there are some girls but not that much of a selection. of course, horny as i was, i found something to poke.

On two occasions me and a close friend have run into the problem of a Mexican joint overcharging us, and in one instance (Peanuts and Beer *cough*), stolen the card and charged it up full blast.

Each time the bank reversed the charges and everything was fine. I think its worth the gamble. As long as you've been a long standing member and pay most of your bill on time, you're all set. Not to mention its Mexico so you're not the first person this has happened too. They know.

There is always identity theft on a broader scale though.

Using a Credit Card you are asking for trouble. Just get a cash advance and hide your CC.

About a year ago, the exchange rate was about 11 to 1. Meaning that 660 pesos equaled 60 bucks, the going chica rate.

So if you pay $60 bucks now at the current 13 rate that comes to almost 800 pesos, it's like your paying them $72 bucks! The rate is going up!

Maybe it'd be better to exchange the money and pay in pesos;

So basically, a year ago 660 pesos equaled $60 bucks.

Now 660 pesos equals $50 bucks. Score!
