How are people bargaining with the current rate these days?

Its at 13 to 1 right now. Any one getting the girls for 50? Still works out in their favor.

Paying 60 gives them almost 800 pesos. Incredible.

Was it 3:45AM or PM you went? Either time may be slow I would think. Anyway, congrats on popping your TJ cherry.

Next time you go, try to take your time. Look around and flirt with a girl or two. If you get one sitting down with you, do not feel bad about kicking her loose and talking to someone else. These girls are *****s and they know the game. Find the right girl and your experience will be better. Also, I find it better to get with a girl with the right attitude. I went for the hottest one once and her attitude was poor and so was the session.

    Enjoy your next trip!

South of the border paranoia is right. I have eaten on the carts and will continue to. I have showered in the hotel before, no big deal. It was something about the cab driver rattling our cages that got us in the mindset. The whole night felt like a bad experience, maybe we wanted to shower so bad to get the bad memories off our bodies, who knows. So I agree, it was paranoia.

The problems in TJ have been amplified in the news, even here in L. A. We hear about them. It is a little nerve racking crossing the border, seeing federales in masks toting assault rifles. We have done this enough times before not to worry too much, but you cannot help a little paranoia creeping in now and then. We still feel safe, largely because of the knowledge gained here in the forums.

We roam around for a while looking at the girls but I did not initally find one. I saw some girls that were kinda in the low 4's and some in the high 10's. Well I found one girl about a few minutes and I took here up to the hotel room. I paid hte $12 for the room and $60 to the girl. We get it on but I was expecting more. It took me a while to get it up but I finnaly did and we did multiple positions.

It would have been better if she spoke more english. She did but not much.

Well after the party was over we got cleaned up and went back dow to the bar.

My first empression is it was GREAT. But my friend said we shoudl go a differnet day of the week.

That's interesting to know. I'd always assumed that reason I always saw everyone using bottled water was that TJ's water plants were straining under the weight of the population. Never knew the water was okay for drinking (but I already knew it was okay for everything else, including bathing). Now that I think about it, I guess it wouldn't make any sense for Tijuana to not have (at least) adequate processing facilities; after all, I'm sure the ice in all those Cuba Libres I used to guzzle down at AB didn't come from bottled water, and I never became sick from it.

Again, I will agree with you 100% on the point that there is an awful lot of "south-of-the-border" paranoia about TJ.

B Dulles might have legitimate concerns about the water on the floor. I would clean the rooms with the same enthusiasm as those guys do, which is a superficial wipe down with water that hasn’t been changed in a week; and then get out as soon as possible. It’s not just the water on the floor that concerns me; it’s also the precious bodily fluids that missed their mark, either by sloppy condom technique or overshooting an open mouth.

Well, he's right and wrong at the same time. The water's not so contaminated that you can't take a shower or wash dishes in it - that part really is south-of-the-border paranoia.

On the other hand, having lived south of Tijuana for 5 years myself I can tell you this from personal experience: when you look around your local barrio and notice that not even the locals are drinking their tapwater, that's a hint-and-a-half for your ass right there . Most (almost all) of my former neighbors got their potable water from those big dispensers like you see in the office; they'd take the empties back to some location to redeem them for some return fee (like turning in glass soda bottles) and grab a new jug for their home dispensers.

    AB Full Report

Went down tonight with a coworker. We have done this many times.

Got to the border at 8:30pm. Parked in the lot across from the Jack in the Box. This is the best lot, the attendant is nearby and can watch my car. We ask how things are south of the border and he says about a "3" on a scale from 1-10.

So we cross over and are a little nervous with all the recent activity in Tijuana and what the parking guy said. We know that the shootings that happen affects mostly those in the drug trade. It was 3 days since the 18 people were murdered.

So we get in a yellow cab and say my favorite line, "Adelita Bar por favor. " The guy starts driving, then tells us that Adelitas may be closed. He tells of the recent shootings. I have a hard time understanding most of what he said. He even goes so far as to show us a newspaper with the killings on the front.

So, we both get a little freaked out. He says there are police everywhere and people are getting searched and shaken down. Then I start to smell a rat. I ask him what we should do, he says that Luxor is still OK and they have "everything. " I know the taxi guys get kickbacks for going here. I insist we go to Adelitas. We arrive and it is open and looks like it always does.

So we go inside. There are mucho girls working, outnumbering the mongers almost easily. It is still early though. We settle into the back corner. My buddy finds a girl right away as usual. He picks up Maria. She has a stunning body and fake eyelashes I do not like. My buddy is happy and ready to go arriba.

Anyway, when he gets her upstairs, he realizes this is the same girl he was with last time, about 9 months ago. He was already checking in to the room so it was too late to back out. He said it was good, but the fact he had been there before along with the panic put into us by the taxi driver kind of soured the experiance.

I had to hurry and find a girl. I see a couple familiar faces. I meet up with Marissa. I like her pierced lip and nose. She has a smoking bod. She is 22 and from Mexico City. She has a good attitude. I buy her a ficha drink. I try to get her to agree to anal, she says no. I know I could shop around, but I will make do. She says she will give me a BBBJ but I decline in the interest of safety/paranoia.

We go arriba. We take a shower together. She did not understand, that I wanted to do the soaping up for her, that is half the fun. So we get out of the shower. We only got one towel and share. We get a fair amount of water on the floor.

So we got down to business. She covers me up and starts with a BJ. She did a good job and actually spent some time here. We then get down to fucking. We do many positions and I finish with her on top of me.

I ask if I can take a picture with my cell camera, she declines. No big deal, wanted to bring back a picture for a friend that wimped out last minute. I go to put on my socks and find that one of them was in a pool of water on the floor. Nothing I can do about that now, so I get dressed.

I go downstairs and meet up with my co-worker. I found the bathroom remodel is complete. They really did a nice job on the bathrooms, nice especially for Tijuana. I also see there are more mongers coming in and things are picking up.

We taxi to the sentri. Traffic is backed up so we get dropped off a little further than normal. We hightail it to the border. Saw the lone policeman standing in the shadows by the bridge. He paid us no attention as usual.

About a 20 minute wait to cross. My co-worker had a simialr issue with his shoelaces getting wet and he was disgusted. He also took a shower, then realized that all their water is contaminated. So now we are both grossed out and eager to get back to our hotel and decontaminate ourselves. Yeah, I know we were being a little weird with it all, but the whole trip this time had left us kind of frazzled.

    My ratings for this trip:
    Girl (looks): 8
    Girl (attitude): 9
    Girl (service): 7
Overall trip experiance: 5 (thanks to the taxi driver)

Yeah, no need to worry about cops in the clubs, or in the street, unless you're carrying drugs. Then you have to bribe them. They're really making sure the girls got their proper IDs.

Anyway, what's the latest lay of the land guys? Haven't been down since June, way too long.

ANd wha's new with the taxi situation. Last time down it didn't seem Taxi Libre was the bargain it used to be. I thought the guy was goingtoi freak when I paid him in Mexican $ instead of US. Used the standard 10 for 1 conversion.
I will be there Sunday. The line up should be good.

How much did the taxi driver ask for? I alway pay $5 from the taxi stand to AB.

I've been going pretty regularly for the last 3-4 years and pricing was easily negotiated for $40-$50 for most girls, while the stunners went for $60. NO MORE. Has something changed or is it a case of newbies gettin had?
