Depends on your budget. You're going to spend a lot more at these places and the service is by no means better than AB or CC.

I would go to CC or Tropical every time and only pop into AB to look around.

Forget Purple Rain, forget Luxor, unless you got money to spend and are not concerned about quality. These places are real "clip joints."

I don't really have much use for the doormen but friends have told me their names. One is Mario, a heavyset guy with a mustache in his thirties. Another is known by his nickname "Bomba". Years ago he used to work the desk at the Hotel Rizo de Oro across the street. Another guy who you'll see around is nicknamed Guante who I have been told is the shift manager. First of all I want to thank everyone posting here, I had never had the nerve to hire a hooker before, but after reading this posts the usa and international I've had afew. I know alot of you guys do the looking around and buying the drinks for the chicks. Thats all good and all, but I prefer to do what we called the Quick Pick. Our philosophy is, whats the real point of trying to sit for a couple hours trying to find the right one. When in reality, you really can't tell who the best one can be as far as service, etc. Looks arent going to tell you that and even talking to them for along time and buying them drinks isn't a guaranteed good service. This is their job, they hustle for a living, and we can't change that. You have to take it as they come.

Personally, I've never been into the buying the drinks, etc. Its a waste of money in my opinion. I feel that within 20-30 minutes at most, you have seen a good amount of the girls on the floor. After that, its just being indecisive and its what I call the Porn Video store syndrome. We figured out this term back around 2001, after going to AB so much. Haha. You ever been at the video store at the porn section. You look at all the titles and the pictures, you can't decide what to get. They all look so good. So hard to choose from the selection right? Its the same with being in the Zona/AB/CC, there are plenty of girls. Most look good enough that if you saw them in the street, you'll wanna come up to them and try to get at that. Hehe. But with the large selection of fine lookin women, the best you can do is just pick one right away to get the deed done and come back for more later.

Maybe some of you enjoy the hunt, but I prefer getting to the action right away.

The quick pick is a very interesting concept. I know I'm intrigued by it.

But it doesn't appear to offer the buyer any ample time in which to negotiate. No negotiation time means that if you have certain sexual preferences, you won't have time to negotiate for them. It would appear that when executing a quick pick, the only thing you'll have time to negotiate for is the price of the service and the fact that you want to pay for her work after the session is over, and not before.

I like to sit and talk with a chica. A quick pick style of picking out a girl goes against the very nature of my personality. On the plus side it'll save the monger alot of time and money. But on the negative side, it seems too haphazard, with too much left open to chance. But like I said, it is a very interesting concept. And maybe I'll try it someday. Maybe.

A couple of hours? I may be a newbie to the TJ scene, but please give me a little more credit. The right one for me may not be the right one for you, and vice versa.
