Video shows he walked in with a knife already in his right hand. Apparently they just had a session and she was leaving her bag at the counter.

He walked in after her, turned and looked at her quickly, like he recognized her. He turned to the stairs and talked to a girl in a few seconds, then immediately turned to her, grabbed her head with his left arm and slit her throat with the knife in his right hand. As she turned and fell down, he stabbed her again in her back before running out. A fat mesero in a red t-shirt ran after him blowing a whistle. It was a dangerous job to detain a guy holding a knife who just murdered a girl, but somehow they managed to hold him until policia arrived.

By the looks of it, they just had a session and had some sort of dispute, causing the attack. After this murder bar girl are likely to raise their hazardous duty rates and cut short session time. Adelitas' security guys and the commercial cop out front were always sitting around picking on their hairy asses, bullshitting. Now they have to pay the price. HK is safer as everyone (except chicas) are frisked carefully by security, impossible to bring weapons into the club.

About 5-6 years ago, a pair of Marine sergeants from Camp Pendleton also slit the throat of a puta and killed her, IIRC, in hotel Hacienda de Santiago. Tijuana bars may just have to ban and girl stop dealing with guys with crew cuts and Marine looks.

Yeah I'm in Tijuana now. Pretty much all the clubs in Zona Norte are closed due to what happened. Adelitas is taped off. HK 7th floor is still open to people staying at the hotel only. A girl I've known for years forwarded me the surveillance video of what happened. Very disturbing and hurt my heart. The girl was only 19. Dude was apparently a jealous US Marine from Cali.

I was at the HK speakeasy yesterday afternoon and again last night and I certainly don't stay at Cascadas. I went past security 3 times and there was no mention of any hotel-related requirement. Rizo and Chicago were operating normally, as far as I could tell. I did not walk across the street to Chicago but their "hawkers" were on the street corner as usual trying to herd people in that direction.

There will be back lashes against Gringos from bar girls, bar operators and the general Mexican public. Tijuana officials faked surprise that they just found out bars were operating in their hotels against state's closure order, like they did not know where to go to get their bribes. Under pressure from the state of BC and the public, they may have to close all speakeasies a while.

The governor of Baja is now in on the act. He issued a scathing rebuke to Tijuana officials for allowing the speakeasy bars to be open in the first place, as reported by several sources in the past 24 hours. He has ordered the State Attorney General to investigate why the bars are open. The bars will now have to pay morditas to the State as well as the City and probably Federal if they want to keep their speakeasy bars open. Going to get very expensive for them.

Holy crap the video of the girl getting stabbed is on Facebook and it's clear, and has audio or some girl watching after is screaming. This guy that killed her has killed people before hopefully just in combat. It looked like a action movie. She had her head in the phone, or looking at something, again, which is why I always say don't put your head in the phone on the street.

Just saw the video and it was clear as day, and up close and personal! There was another one from further away, but the one video was right on the crime scene. Gruesome! People screaming and hollering. Damn! Takes just one kook to end a life like that and ruin the scene for everyone. Man, man, man!

A chica was stabbed in the neck from behind on the steps inside leading to the speakeasy. Murderer was an American 26 year old military guy.

The security video shows the guy in black T shirt walk to the stairs into the club. He stopped, talked to a girl on the stairs for 5 seconds, then turned around, grabbed the girl by her head from behind, slashed her throat, looks like he also stabbed her in her chest, then ran out. The girl was doing something at the counter with her back towards him. She did not know he was coming with his sneak attack. She fell down in a pool of blood.

Allegedly she was 18, working to feed her BF / padrote and a 3 YO son. I feel sad for the girls who have sell sex to live, now much sadder, even depressed, that some guy would murder this young girl so brutally in such a cowardly way. There are guys who have no respect for human life or dignity, and contribute nothing of values to society. When you see those indications, stay well away from them and report them to HSI for good measure. This guy will be tortured daily in Mexico's prison and won't live long.

Looked like he had no connection to this girl and just picked her at random. Anybody knows the motivation behind this murder? I hope guys who know her start a GOFUNDME or take up a collection to help her family and her son.

Just what we need: more news reports stoking the Telemundo / Univision / CNN International narrative that "American men are murders and rapists. " It is damn near impossible to pull any chica from Mexico City and south out of a bar in Tijuana. They're afraid of their shadows because that's what they see and hear and have been told.

The word on the street is the dude raped this poor girl at age 15, got her knocked up and has been pimping her since. Personally, I find Zona pretty gross. I wouldn't step my foot there had it not been for drinking and arribas.

Well, since you asked, for one thing I am living in my vacation rental on the beach since no one else seems to want to nowadays and there's not a helluva lot else to do for entertainment. For another, every non-mordida-paying-bar in Tijuana has been closed for the most part since spring.

I use the zona bars just like a regular bar: to pick up chicas. The hit rate is about the same as Las Pulgas or one of the other nightclubs. I get their number, ask them out, take them to dinner, drinks, moonlight on the beach, toda la noche, whatever. You'd be amazed how some of those robotic sex dolls come to life with a little wining and dining. Get them jacked up on booze and their favorite illegal substance and 1 in 5 can actually remember when they were a real Mexican woman and fuck all night long.

Personally, I find la zona pretty gross as well. I would not go "arriba" in one of those hotels with a borrowed dick. But when the other bars are closed, a man's got to do what a man's got to do. I don't use la zona bars as a sole source of "dates" but you must admit it's kinda nice to be able to vet them, feel them up and see them naked before you take them out. At least no surprises body-wise. After doing it for awhile, I actually prefer it over regular bars and it beats the shit out of a blind date from one of the online meat markets in most cases.

Just an update on AB. I went by there late this afternoon. The bar and hotel are roped off with crime scene tape and the doors are plastered with "Asegurado" stickers. I asked a thick neck out front when they were going to reopen. He said he didn't know. I saw one of the managers near the door and he told me the same thing. I texted 2 or 3 chicas that work there today and they're not being told anything either. But, I have a feeling the money machine is not going to be shut down for long.

Having said that, the mood in la zona is subdued. Even at HK, the girls were pretty shabby looking tonight although there were more guys than usual for a Thursday night. Nothing worth taking home that I saw. So, if any of you guys are planning a trip this weekend it may or may not be the best time to come. Just sayin'.
