I meet one guy at the Coco hotel who was arrested recently after some conflict with a chica, I think hes on some kind of passport hold. THis time the chica backed down, I may have gotten lucky! Its been a drama free fun trip, hopefully no more drama!

Sounds like things are normal in Sosua. I never put my hand on a woman I do not know. Even putas can take a offence. That's correct, although I believe he (Willy) is only part owner of Classicos. Armando is the main owner of Classicos.

If an older Italian guy showed up and railed the police, then that was Armando. If it was a Dominican, then it was Willy.

Willy is also the Vice Mayor of Sosua. That's why he can tell the police to go and fuck themselves, LOL!

I've been in Sosua for a few days now and have been having a blast, but I'm wondering what would be the best thing to do for new year's eve. Would there be any chance of me hooking up with local non-pros in Santiago, at say, one of their trendy nightclubs (like with university students). To give some perspective, I am in my twenties, and have had incredible success with local girls in the Philippines (where I use pros as a last resort). If I had a good time and didn't get laid, I wouldn't regret it that much, as long as I had a good time. If I was back at home I would have spent hundreds at some nightclub only to go home and jack off (or even worse, fuck my girlfriend) , so even if I had a somewhat decent shot at getting laid, I'd be down for it.

I don't know anything about Santiago, so I will let others advise on that, but if you decide you don't want to go that far and switch hotels, you could try your luck in Puerto Plata. There are lots of middle-class bars and restaurants strung out along about a quarter of a mile along Avenida Luis Ginebra which runs from the stadium into the heart of the city (and is therefore cheap and easy to access from Sosua). That is where the young non-working girls are celebrating in the holiday season. You will need to speak some Spanish and if you can dance the local dances (bachata & merengue) that will help a lot, but then that would apply in Santiago too. Wouldn't fancy your chances of getting in their knickers on the first date unless you look like Antonio Banderas though. I only mention it because that is the sort of scene you just don't find in Sosua.
