Visiting and living in Sosua for 13 years, I personally every day interact with a cross section of the population here. We share our experiences every day. It's part of the social life here, always a new twist.

From old hookers I used to fuck, now turned hard core, new to the game chicas, semi pros (meaning chicas that have day jobs), newbie mongers, ex pats, frequent visitors, and my bi regular and her circle of friends, and their families.

What I "read" on this forum is always interesting, but in my experience, not always descriptive of the day to day scene here.

Now that may be because some of our prolific megaposters to the Sosua Forum are rarely here. And their reports contain a lot of hearsay. And there are inconsistencies in the posts. Once the shithole puta pueblo was dead, now it seems to be place they actually recommend.

I actually enjoyed reading your actual boots on the ground Sosua trip report. It was spot on, for a casual visitor.

I welcome that change. Sosua is what it is, and it can be heaven or hell, depending on one's personal experience.

But how to handle the chicas here, is always on topic, for newbies, ex pats and vets alike.

And it usually comes down to the big cultural chasm, like how most putas here think only of today, no CBA, while some of us like to play a longer game. Not everybody here is a weekend warrior.

A lot of ex pats I talk to, still find it odd that a regular repeat chica, can turn on a dime, and they share that info. But they are happy to be here, playing the game! There's always the next one!

You read well, amigo, LOL. There are many ways to skin the cat in Sosua. Street chicas, local bars, clubs, beauty shops and nail salons, even restaurant 4th floor bathrooms.

It is not a random meeting. I have known these girls for a long time having used their salon services. We always joke around. They were definitely not offended by my remarks. When I first started traveling to the DR, a chica thought me to say "No Bulto" after asking a girl out or after explaining something important. It means "No Bullshit". And yo I got laid so many times with that little 2 word phrase w the locals. This is when you want to tell them for ex you're not a player and will play no games. Just say "No Bulto" at the end and they'll believe you. I laughed at that shit at first, but then then started to understand their culture and this shit works all the time. I've always said you got to control them, or they'll control you. And they will respect a guy who won't listen to bullshit.

3rd Trip to Sousa first time writing here we go.

I stayed at an Airbnb in my previous trips I stayed at grand Laguna but I wanted something walking distance to the strip so I chose this Airbnb on David Stern Street.

I got to Airbnb by flying into POP from Newark.

That's the Sosua most visitors are familiar with. Downtown strip, beach, Bailey's and Ahnvee.

Hard to find the old GFE, there.

For those with a little more time the uptown bars are more "normal". In the sense they cater to a regular clientele. Chicas who are customers, cool, and pay for their own drinks. (at least the first one, LOL).

They work their game much like singles bars back home. Conversation, maybe a proposition, a phone number, and a more discreet, "meet you at such and such, in half an hour." No "walk of shame" when leaving. People will talk, so what reps we all have can be at least be maintained.

These chicas deal more in quality, not quantity, so there's no obligations, expectations, less drama, and more chance of a successful repeat.

GFE is still available in Sosua, if you have the time, and hang in the right places.
