Sosua is not going anywhere. Maybe the monger party version of Sosua is going somewhere. What keeps Gaspar Hernandez, Rio San Juan, Cabrera, and Nagua alive? They don't have that kind of tourism and even less sex tourism.

That goes for damn near anywhere. One does not need to travel all the way to Sosua to find chicks to fuck for extra money. It was the open air brothel that drew people there. Same as Rio. Kill the open air brothel and the majority of mongers that were going before no longer go there.

Yea. Some mongers think the pueblo will die without them. Not true. Some bars and restaurants will close without them, but the town won't dry up and go away. Too many expats and snowbirds. Myself and most of my crew don't really care what they close. We all speak some Spanish and can make moves without the strip. 2 friends of mine moved there just before the closures and they haven't missed a beat! LOL.

I'm not sure this ahnvee set up will last. She may turn on them. I'm already seeing too many videos from there. Seems to me that's exactly what they don't want. These new mongers can't be discreet it seems. We shall see!

I guess you're right. Chicas Will always go there looking for gringos And guys will always go there with dineros in search of the chicas looking for them. It's an international known understanding. The only ones that will have problems or people like me who are used to that all set up. While I will be complaining about everything being so spread out; a newbie will be ready to hit the clubs and jump headfirst in.

While I'm complaining about not being able to walk from the club to my room; a newbie has paid 300 pesos for a ride with his Chica of choice for the night. For the Su its business as usual. I liked the Sue for its good and bad. Don't think I will ever go back there unless I'm showing a newbie. I can do Puerto Plata for that set up. But The Sue losing me is like losing your number one chica. Replace her with two more that can appreciate it.

With all the beautiful beaches in DR, you would have to be off your rocker talking about you are going to Sosua for a beach if there were no hoes there.

I got a buddy that lives here in Thailand that also has a house in Sosua. The other day he was just saying how boring it is around there. The other day my chick in Puerto Plata was saying how she misses me. I asked her what we would do if I come there. She said many things. I said many things my ass, you tell me now. All she could come up with was fuck, eat, and swim at the beach.

Every other city in DR is surviving without sex tourism, why wouldn't Sosua? Mongers always think a city needs them. They thought the same thing about Rio before they closed Help Disco, and Rio has 13 million people.

Sosua is not a city, it's a small pueblo, or a village. Everything bad about the DR is amplified in Sosua, like poor water supply, poor sewage, poor electric grid, too many people below the DR poverty line, few jobs, low tax revenue, and etc. Tourism of any kind keeps Sosua alive. Personally, I don't need the club scene to get sex in Sosua, because there are plenty of women there who work regular jobs and need extra money. Hell, the women rather fuck a foreigner for extra money then fuck a Dominican for free, so who are we fooling about changes in Sosua?

I said it before, I think some major players that have big political and economical influence is trying to rezone The poor developed area that they're trying to make the red light district. Could you imagine the value of property increase once you close down the bars and force them to a particular area? After CMP and passion closed there was no reason To walk past Europa. IMO All of that area dropped in value for pesos on a mil. If you are a smart businessman with inside promises of a rezone area you could buy low and Rent high. We know Dominicans love doing this.

OK I see I'm way behind the curve. The clubs High Caribbean and New York Drinks are already out there and open for business in the new red light District. They're located next the police department. Lots of Land are being advertised for the sale next to these locations. IMO Promises had to be made for someone to invest clubs up in this area. Makes me think there won't be any going back to the old ways no time soon. No more sky is falling! The Sue has clouds on the ground.

Two things come to mind. Excuse me for talking but I'm high.

I remember my friend posted a Facebook photo of him in about eight guys in the mountains hiking in Arizona. They look like they were enjoying themselves. Why'all look like you're having a ball but please tell me some women are coming later.

About four of us were on a carnival cruise. We all got a good work out and went straight to the hot tub. I enjoyed myself for about two minutes. We cool but four guys in a hot tub and no Women I'm out.

The only thing Sosua can offer me is the influx of 100's of chicas to sell services at a competing prices. Take that out the equation and anyone that is happy about the weekend warriors not there and want they bring to the table can have that sorry ass city! What type of city would it be if there wasn't sex tourism going on?

In some business when the service get low the prices go up. When everybody selling the same services prices stay low. Is similar to what's going on in the Sue. Example: because they cut off chicas hanging out on the street selling The same service offered in the clubs; we noticed an increase of asking prices. Most of us are now limited to Classico and the other small bars to buy services. Unless you had a supplier that sold you service at regular prices, you had to submit to what they were asking in the clubs. The chicas unionize and quickly and took advantage of our Limited access to them.

For the Sue as a whole, it's business as usual. For a lot of us vets this is not the Sue we are used to. Vets like Gogo who don't have main contacts in the Sue, can read those high price asking unionize Chica's from a mile away. Before he pay those prices, he would save his money for another time and not buy anything. I can only imagine what Mr. E would say when a chica tells him 3000 pesos for an hour!

The weekend warriors serve their purpose. They came because a lot of chicas would normally don't be in Sosua during the week will come on the weekends. There were enough independent chicas to go around for everyone. The prices were competitive even with the weekend Warriors wasting a lot of money trying to be Ballers.

I remember one time I saw a school bus full of young horny Athletic British guys in Boca Chica headed to the Sue. It had to been about 25 of them. Once we got there I only seen about two or three of them on the strip. The rest were occupied. There were so many chicas that met the demand for services, it was enough for everyone to go around. Oh how I miss the Santiago party chicas that came with their clicks on the weekend.

I've been to the Sue on a normal weekday. It was boring as hell. A lot of Hardcore pros and locals. However they were enough regular guys and ex pats to satisfy the demand. Personally I wouldn't travel 3 1/2 hours to the north coast just to experience what I've noticed during the week day to the Sue. The beach? Well maybe if you're not from the East Coast or an area where there are beaches you might find some stimulation in Sosua's beach.

The only thing Sosua can offer me is the influx of 100's of chicas to sell services at a competing prices. Take that out the equation and anyone that is happy about the weekend warriors not there and want they bring to the table can have that sorry ass city! What type of city would it be if there wasn't sex tourism going on? How many chicas will come on the weekend if they knew that it was only locals and ex-pats living there? I can only imagine that water hole drying up.

On another note, I think it's bittersweet that the bars have been closed. The area needs cleansing. The Chica union needs to be dismantled. I hear many people talk about how the Sue could not survive without sex tourism. All of that talk makes sense, but until Someone with major political And economical influence feel the lightness in their pockets will Things be normalized. For now The vast majority of voting citizens or who's ever in charge is not concerned. The citizens that vote in the Sue have elected their officials to conduct their business as they see fit. They decide on how they want their city to be.

While I feel sorry for a lot of single mothers that provide services for extra cash for their kids especially for the upcoming Christmas season, I understand the current situation involves decisions out of my league.

I can only speak from my personal experience since 2011 when I first visited after Help closed down. So I will take your word for it because I have nothing to compare it to because it has remained pretty much the same since I started visiting. Thank you for the input. Let's hope it makes a rebound in any case.

Let's just hope it does move down the street and continues to have the bars, chicas, and the nightlife myself and others have come to enjoy for so many years.
