Now do you really believe out of the blue classico closes down voluntarily. You believe that you fall for anything. Your information is suspect that it closed down on its own.

Sir, I quoted what you wrote. You said Classico closed down by presidential order. Not that it was being shut down. Closed and being shutdown is two different things. One is the present, the other presumes at some future time. Subsequently, you posted something else. A direct contradiction with each other. Thats why I asked, what happened to the presidential order that was enforced to close Classico? Do you know or you don't know? If a presidential order was enforced what did the owners need to do to lift the closing order?

For some reason it says $195 all inclusive. But on Agoda I just booked for three nights executive suite for $170 November. This price includes breakfasts. I had booked at Alicia hotel but they sent me a e mail saying they need to cancel. I guess they are closing for good.

Hope Ahnee resort is still open on my dates. Not much worried about Chicas. I can get them from anywhere because I will have a rental car.

That's the going rate for a decent room, (they have no beach, otherwise it would be a 4 star) . But they have 3 kinds of suites, and they may try to upsell you to a bigger room. But its all good value.

All the times I was there the place was full of mongers and their chicas, and big families of partying Dominicans.

And yes most Dominicanas love the water, the pools and the beaches. The exception is the short time hooker, who might not even want to get completely undressed for a ST session! LOL.

Rooms in this ahnee resort is close to $200 per night. At that rate it better be girl or girls friendly. Last time I drove inside there to check it out. There were few western couples staying there. Not sure if they will allow open cajoling. It certainly did not seem like a brothel compared to Blackbeards.

Booked a vacation for Veterans Day weekend. Hopefully things would have settled down by then regarding bars and chicas. I usually rent a car and not restricted to Sosua. I can get girls from Puerto Plata if things are tough in Sosua.

No BB, that's for sure, it's a 3 star all inclusive newer hotel. I understand you can bring in a guest for the day and only pay for what she eats and drinks!

Never stayed there but been over there for their Superbowl party and a couple of afternoons as a guest. No official bikini contests, but the pool BBQ parties are loud and fun, with a lot of local chicas showing their wares. I did get propositioned and was tempted, but I had no room there.

Booked ticket Tuesday morning of this week; flew down Jet Blue Thursday am; back Sat pm. JB systems down in POP so literally waited for 2 hours on line to check in back to JFK. Bummer!

I was pleasantly surprised by the number and variety of girls. I went down thinking it would be be somewhat lame, but that wasn't the case. Never made in to the beach, the gym or even beyond a 3 block radius of Rumba (now rebranded King's).

I can't speak to late night activities because I was nestled in bed with my choice for the evening by 10:30 both nights.

4 girls in 2 days; one a Dominican massage girl across the street from Casa Valeria (where I stayed in a very nice, clean ground level room overlooking the pool - 2 nights including breakfast for $150).

2nd girl a 5'10 gorgeous 1/2 Haïtian 1/2 Dominican stunner named Carmen with an initially good attitude. I would have happily wife'the up with her, but you guys know the drill; afternoon get together become a quickie bc she needs to go do that this or the other. Complete opposite of Kenya where getting them to leave is the challenge.

She had great head game BTW.

3rd a petite Dominican with great pert boobs; typical commercial sex; pleasant but rough hand job to try and warm me up with a bored look on her face. Softer baby softer!

4th and final was a Haïtian girl a month in town. Slim and fit with gigantic boobs, but the bra concealed the baby damage. BF left her in the 7th month of her pregnancy 😬. Too bad she didn't go formula for my selfish needs! Ha!

She spoke no English at all. But was all over me in a sweet way from the word go at Bar Central. Haïtians are just sweeter and more affectionate than Dominicans; She didn't disappoint in the room either, biggest wet spot I've seen, a throughly drenched, soaked 2 x 4 feet. Lovely! But such an innocent; wanted me to meet her brother and sister in Puerto Plata the next day; through google translate wrote about how I could be with her going forward. Clearly she was looking to be 'saved' - my motivations were much simple; more carnal and certainly didn't involve meeting her family. I was overly generous with her; mostly out of guilt and because I won't miss the 4500 pesos (spare me about destroying in market) - it might mean helping her baby that much more.

So that's it fellas. The view at Kings at 6 pm Friday night was mind blowing; girls of all shapes and sizes. Obesity has made its way to the DR but that's not slowing these girls down; flaunted big T&A all over the place! More hard core ones that I like, but let's face it, that's how it's been for the 10+ years. Sosua isn't for the sweet girl; it's to sport fuck.

I have been going to Sosua since 2011 and it has changed somewhat as I saw in August this year, with few women on the prowl and I mentioned even a policewoman chasing a poor girl trying to hide inside a store. The fact of the matter is that, for me, it changes nothing. I still find the place interesting with its small footprint, expat population and accordingly, good restaurants. The women? They all come to you. So whoever is reading this, especially the US crowd who seem to be more into story telling or wondering, can plan ahead and, what with google translate, it is a no-brainer even for the language challenged. The sky is not falling!

P.S: I will back there for another weekend, hopefully soon and then there is Christmas time amid warm weather.

Sosua has always been a PR problem for the local officials who are charged with public safety and law and order.

Sosua main street at night is basically an unregulated brothel, where on a busy night a tourist can't even walk down Pedro without been accosted, swarmed and even physically groped by hard core hookers. Unlicensed motoconchos ignore basic traffic rules and are a continual public safety hazard. Not many places in the world where this state of affairs is tolerated on it's main street.

This has made Sosua notorious as a sex destination attracting hordes of mongers and their money. The reality is that the whole town depends on this business to keep the hotels rooms and restaurants filled.

To some like me, the lack of regulation is a refreshing change from the nanny states I have lived in. Aside from all the available women, a visitor can enjoy a smoke with his coffee or beer, buy fresh home cooked street food from the locals or the guy with an oil drum BBQ on the empty lot across the street, or hop a moto to the supermarket for a buck.

But there has to be some controls and so they do what they can to satisfy everybody.

They see the solution, not as banning prostitution, but trying to decentralize it.

There are a still quite a few fairly large bars up the side streets that were once thriving, but are now derelict because they couldn't compete with Classico, Rumba and D'Latin. So it seems feasible to move the red light action away from main street.

Ahmvi is doing well, still has party nights and monger pool parties away from the in your face street action, and some of the outer bars and restaurants are doing ok.

The changes will affect some mongers who like to get a cheap hotel room, buy cheap beer from the colmado, and pluck a cheap hooker from the street, but meeting a well dressed and well behaved chica in a bar, maybe a little music and dancing, might bring a little more of that old time traditional romance back to the scene.

Look, no problem, I'll eat crow as I promised if it doesn't fail to materialize. The reason why I don't think it will materialize is that I've seen Cabaret. And I'm sure you have too. I mean, even after 3-4 Cuba Libres, even if you close your eyes and let your imagination run wild, you won't see that place attracting the kind of crowd Marriott would want for its top brands. Also, I haven't found anything about Cabaret or DR's North Coast for that matter in Marriott's own press releases. Bloomberg reports Marriott's plans for Punta Cana -- again, not a word about Cabaret or Puerto Plata. I don't know, I guess, we'll see. Really, who cares, though.
