I am in Sosua right now. Its my first time and my last time. I don't have a problem to pay $45 or $100. But what I get for my money is bull.

The GrownMan's doctrine sounds like a much better explanation to me, LOL.

Sosua is a convenient (and legal) market for both hookers and mongers. Within a 15 minute walk I can cover the entire scene, beaches, bars, clubs, restaurants, casino. Lots of interaction between customers and providers.
Sosua hookers come from all regions of DR, and Haiti, and mongers come from all over the world.
The hookers range from hard core SWs to high end part timers. The SWs are low priced quickies of unreliable quality who work on volume. They charge what the market will bear.
High enders are better organized, with a contact list of reliable regulars and work from their phone. They charge on a different scale, and will mix business with pleasure. Dinner, a day at the beach, or a week at your hotel. GFE.
The mongers range from pennypinchers on a tight budget, to weekend warriors that come to party, and will spend money to make it happen. In the middle are newbies, who are just finding their way. One guy is happy getting a 500 peso BJ in the banyo, while the next guy wants her to go home with him.
When talking about prices, I always go back to the restaurant analogy. You can dscuss the average price of a hamburger, good steak, or lobster, but pussy, just like food, varies in quality and how it is served up, so there's always a disparity in what one guy is willing to pay for what he really wants. There's no one set price for "a meal".
What I really want is beautiful young ladies like I see on TV. I got that in Sosua. One of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon is to join a few of my bartender friends at the beach, or after work at a bar with music. I don't have to "entertain" them, they entertain me and each other, and yes, I pick up the tab for the drinks and the food within reason. We often draw a crowd, so before it gets out of hand I call for mi cuenta por favor. I may or may not finish up fucking them, usually not. Me, I'm just having a good time in good company, and I'm usually the first one to check out. Some guys would call that being ripped off, LOL.
My advice on prices, always comes down to this. Make sure you get YOUR value for your money, not somebody else's value. (And be nice to anybody you share bodily fluids with, or serves you food.).

He said all of that but yet to say better service. He really feels that way he can pay the difference for the rest of us.

A favorite line from one of my favorite movies when discussing about the costs of doing business, Tango said, "Well don't sell dope then Frank." First they tricked you into paying for them to get back and forth to "work", now they got you paying for hair and clothes too?
I think it was back in the 1920s when in the US restaurants and shit, in order to save on costs, stopped paying workers the normal wage and started paying them less and tricked customers to directly pay the difference in the form of tips. Today the workers in those same industries want the employer to start paying the normal wage again, but do you think they are going to want to forego the tips? No. They are going to expect both. The same as these hoes are expecting you to get them back and forth, feed them, get them drunk, pay them, AND give them tips!

Posts: 16Cost of Sosua street walkers
Some people would say that the street walkers in Sosua ask for too much. But the reality is that these girls have to spend money to get there and be ready for the guys.
Example:
-If the girl is from Santo Domingo and goes for 3 days /2 nights she will spend $20 transport, $30 Hotel, $10 food, $50 heair and nails, $15 Clothes for a total: $125 dollars.
-If that girl has 4ST and 1 LT that would be about $250 dollars.
-So. That girl will get only about $125 dollars from getting laid with 5 different guys.
That's' why the prices are about US $45ST and US $100 LT.
-Then again, if the girl is arrested by the police (they can arrest anyone for 24 Hours without proof) then they will just lose all the investment. And it happens a lot, that's why you don't see many girls from Santiago or Santo Domingo and you see many Haitians that live in Sosua.

Posts: 271I just returned from Cartagena and its is not a nice place to vacation IMHO. The beaches are dirty and cocaine is everywhere however it beats Sosua as far as Chica selection.

But like I said, your right about Cartagena being the closest thing to Sosua and it; s unfortunate and I am forming my opinion now how much Sosua has gone downhill. It's very sad!

But I'm in no desperate hurry. I don't relish doing the milk run thru the States, then the trip up to Sosua. A full day of stress with possible delays.
The routes start up in November, so I'll just hop on in the AM, and be sipping the first drink at my bar by noon.
Wouldn't imagine to much has changed in the few weeks I've been away, Things were pretty normal COVIDwise when I left.
Always good to get a Sosua update from you, Mr Gogo, and if there's a god, we're bound to meet up soon.
