So you have heard what they say about Sosua and you’re still making the trip brave man.

All experiences vary. Just because one has a bad hair day so to speak does not ruin plan for all others. Although I have not gone there since Covid I had very good time before. I do rent a car which gives me various opportunities to travel and get girls sometimes just by the side of the road pick up. Even in bars many girls seem mercenary there are some nice ones to be had. Cost wise it has gone up all over the world. Idea is to have a very good time within reasonable cost. Supply of girls who earn money by prostitution has gone down quite a bit all over the world because of improved education and economy. I remember on weekends In Sosua there were literally hundreds of girls coming some from as far as Sanyo Domingo, La Vega to make money. That supply has gone way down according to reports.

Bottom line is do not be put off by others experience. Try by diving in. If nothing else you have a tropical vacation.

The experiences of Mr. Mushuu are not invalidated by my experiences nor anyone else's. His idea that the girls are charging prices from the United States of America. I don't think so. Sosua has so many visitors from the United States of America making videos about the quality and price of the pussy they find in Sosua that the Minster of Tourism is on a crusade to rid Sosua of street prostitution. You don't live in the Dominican Republic so you might not be aware of the politics right now.

But where does that leave new guys like Mushuu or guys that do not want to fuck the same chicks over and over?

I thought you were a smart guy. Anyone who does not like Sousa is free to visit anywhere else in the world they wish to. I should not have to tell you that. But I guess that I do. Your position has always been that people who like Sousa do so because they have been to no other place in the world. I reject that notion. When I visit Thailand latter this year will I be able to judge an entire country by my visit to one or two cities? And then say I do not like the body types of the girls that are there and that every other place in the world will be better? I certainly could do that. But millions who don't bother to post on ISG will disagree with me by visiting and having a good time.

I just got back from Medellin. Took me about a week to develop my eye for girls there. They looked really strange to me. I could not figure out why so many had so much praise for the girls there. I want to plan a trip to Sosua this summer. It will be just me, and it will be my first time in DR. I like to go big or go home. That and I'm fluent in Spanish.

I'll be reading through the forums, but if anyone wants to DM any advice I'll read that, too. I need to figure out where to stay, when to go, cheap flights, etc. And obviously anything and everything about the chicas.

Going to the Sosua and judging the entire Dominican Republic by what you see there is like going to Las Vegas and judging the entire United States of America by what you see on Las Vegas Blvd. The Dominican Republic is not a third world country. Only the misinformed use that term. The Dominican Republic is a middle income nation. Learn some Spanish. Bring your A personality game. Actually visit regular parts of the Dominican Republic and the impressions formed by those experiences may be different than the ones formed by a brief visit to Sosua.

Full disclosure: I did not initially like Sousa either. But now it is my go to vacation spot.

Most of the threads are similar, some love, some hate. But always back and forth, makes you wonder why so much fighting. We know some of the girls come on here too, it's a free site. That being said, I've travelled many places, some remote, some near and far. DR is 2-3 hours flight; and to some it up, prices, girls, both looks and attitudes are comparative to the US, not in a good way. Beaches when clean, island vibe, and ice cold beer are plenty. But for the monger, this place is the shits. I can be bias because these aren't the typical girls I like. Mostly fat, and ugly. There are some gems but far and few, and prices go from 2500 pesos to 200 USD. That's right $200 usd bc why the fuck not. Gringo prices or not, I am sick of the banter that is required. The more haggling the quality of time drops. So I would give my average prices of 2500, they take it or leave it. No $200 to $100 usd BS. This is definitely a third world country and I refuse to pay america prices. That definitely the biggest sore spot of the DR. Combined with everyone else trying to scam and swindle you, the trust factor just cannot be obtained, and manifests through the whole experience.

I went to sosua in June, prob not the best month, but it was hot, and going outside between 10 to 5 pm is not suggested. Things close at 1. 1:30 am; just like america so the window of fun is very short. I could really only stand going out after 8 pm.

First girl I met on Sunday night at Classico or disco 59. Saw her after a ladyboy kept trying to lick my neck. Cutest girl I saw all night and was with a friend. Waved her over and exchanged pleasantries, offered both girls a Presidente. I started to chat with her, talking about glasses, babies, whatever crap I can muster. She wasn't too rejecting of the flirting so took my chance to see how much long time was with her. She hits me with 200 usd, and I was shocked and laughed. I am thinking 5 mil, she only wanted 5 mil for short time. Immediately that ended discussions even with a 2500 counter. She wanted at least 100 usd, like she lives in the US. And after meeting other girls, I am glad I didn't accept. The fun was has been lack luster, I would accepted mechanical service over what the DR offered.

Second girl that night I pulled into to talk, was a baby mama that looked decent. Maybe a 7 or 8, but when the clothes came off it was just all flabs and saggy tits. She wanted 3500 for short time, I started at 2000, settled for 2500.2500 was still too much for her. BJ was 2 seconds long, she complained about everything. I have not been to this forum in a while and so today it was entertaining reading, after a small hiatus, the various exchanges.

I thought I would put my thoughts for what they are worth.

1. I love Sosua. There. I said it. Someone here mentioned the four reasons and I would reiterate it. It is a) for proximity (a direct 4 hour flight for me even though the frigging Jetblue milks that privilege to the hilt), b) for the variety of food. I love hamburgers but once every two months would be fine, even three or four. Sosua offers a smorgasbord of other kind of cuisine that is not fried potato or barbecued meat, c) for the women. Starting with my arrival a long time back, I never picked (well. Almost never) from the street (a Brit friend did the intro in the beginning) for the reasons cited by many and I find women (well the girl next door is a good and ambitious goal but one can get there, with time) that are pleasant, who I can even cook a meal for, drink with and dance when the mood takes over; 4) The Beach. I tried Santiago (I could not breathe in SD) but nope, the water and the breeze does wonders for me.

I know what you mean OK. My dad is 72 and came over to Thailand at the end of last year. It was like his 4th time here, but all he wanted to do this time was stay in the room and rest. It is like his mind still wants to hang as he has done all his life, but his body can no longer keep up. Are you serious? There is a disco called "Help Hooker"? Jajaja. In defense of those that cannot do the language, I have to state this. I have been to Bkk, perhaps 30+ times, always for 2-3 days and the only thing I could muster was "Sawasdee Krup" and "Kob Kun Krup". The beauty of Spanish is that it is a western lingo and even the script is legible and it is spoken by a load of people in more than one continent. I find it eminently useful compared to the other romance languages I speak.
