I support and understand where Turgid is coming from, bc I too am a bit sympathetic toward the Sosua honeys, the desperate ones, the very poor and dirty footed ones, etc LOL. Because poverty isn't an excuse to lie, rob, etc. If anything, the Haitianas have it worse, many children in many poorer countries have it worse, no food, no water, etc. And these hunnies for the most part are being overpaid if anything. The Su is an awesome place but yes there are sharks in the mix. Being high is a great way to be eaten. The sharks are desperate they come at you hungry promising everything your nasty mind could want. You can have my ass poppi I love to chuppa daddy. All bull shit. The vast majority of girls get no action and soon become desperate. There are always a few hundred girls trying to make fast money. Many are hot girls in their barrios but do not make the cut in Sosua. There are some girls who will go for 1000 pesos but guys will not give them a 2nd look. Open your eyes in the SU you will see some crazy shit. I have experienced what Coolie described the flip the scribt chica and believe me you will never let it happen again. I have not been to Sosua or DR I'm over 10 years and I am thinking of making a trip soon. I know about the beaches, hotels etc. Not much has changed in that department from what I can tell.

The last time I was there passions and a few other similar establishments were being closed down. Do any similar places exist or has the town cracked down on them?

I am guessing you will need to meet local chicks at bars, beaches etc.

Last time I was there heading to the main beach there were timeshare sharks on every corner. Is this still a problem?

I'd also like to know how the action is early to mid week compared to a weekend.

You'll find higher prices across the board, but the beaches are still the same, and the hotels are still chica friendly.

There are no strip clubs anymore and the quality and quantatity of street chicas has declined, but you cand still find a gem among the weeds. (they have to start sometime). A lot of business is now conducted over the phone, but the beach and the bars are still good hunting grounds (for the chicas, LOL.).

The market for time share has dried up, so you'll only see the salesman around the all inclusives, focusing mainly on vacationing couples.

Just keep in mind, Sosua is a seasonal tourist town, so the summer months are slow, some restuarants shorten their hours, or close for the summer, and weekends are alway busier than weekdays.
