Anyone knows whats the story with Jennifer at Classico? I've seen her last couple of times I've been to Sosua at Classico. Looks like puta but declined both times I propositioned her. Last time (6 mo's ago) outright, this time (Jan'09) I was with a friend and bought her beers along with other chicas and they danced and put on a show for us and stuff but when it came time to talk business she just said she isnt working today. Unusual for Sosua/Classico, she's the only one I've seen like that. She talks a lot to the Dominican guys, doesn't look like some local's gf or something, shes 20 something, good shape, blonde (dyed). I have some cell phone pics from my last trip but cant find my USB cable, will post them soon, just wondering if the name rings a bell for someone.

Anybody got an opionion about Don Antonia Hotel? vs New Garden? Are both centrally located? Going down in March and may spend a few days in Sosua.

Dont know about Don Antonio but I stayed at the New Garden, new wing - totally satisfied. Clean, good A/c, good shower bathroom etc, $69/nite, great location. Last few times stayed at Europa and Sea breeze - older rooms, some smell, a/c sucks, poor lights, water backs up in bathtub, just not up to the mark.

Been reading the reports for a while now. Finally decided to try to head down to Sosua but can't find an airline that flies out of the midwest without an overnight say each way. Geez, I can travel to Pattaya or AC in that amount of time. Anyone fly to POP from the midwest? I'm near Louisville KY.

Probably your best bet is to look at Indianapolis flights. Just over 1hr drive, if I remember correctly.

I'm heading to Sosua 2/19 for a week and tried to get a room at NG but was told via email they don't have a room available. Does anyone know of a nice place that has wi-fi in the rooms that is girl friendly? More expensive rooms are fine.

Fruit juices are called "jugo natural" as opposed to "refrescos" (pronounced "refrecko" in the DR)which are sodas. Passion fruit juice "chinola" is sometimes available as an alternative to orange and is worth trying, or they have pineapple "pinya". You can also order a bottle of water "agua" anywhere

Or, you can always say, "Hi, I'll take a Coke", or "Hi, I'll take a juice", or "Hi, I'll take a bottle of water"...

Basically the answer is no, and you can always order orange juice. Fruit juices are called "jugo natural" as opposed to "refrescos" (pronounced "refrecko" in the DR)which are sodas. Passion fruit juice "chinola" is sometimes available as an alternative to orange and is worth trying, or they have pineapple "pinya". You can also order a bottle of water "agua" anywhere, plus all the usual sodas. Most bars will also offer coffee, which, incidentally is much better than what you will get in the US. Take some Dominican coffee home for a souvenir, but get it at the grocery, not at the airport, or you will pay 3 times the price.

Also beware of ordering expensive drinks like whisky or tequila for chicas. If they order these drinks, most likely they are scam-minded. Tell them they can have cervesa or soda or juice.

I take it that is the deal with the strip clubs or gentleman's clubs in the states, huh? I don't know because I never go to them.

You don't have to order a damn thing in Classico's. You just have to pay to get in, just like the night clubs function in the states.

I haven't been to La Passion (yet) but I am sure the same rule applies here as well. In fact, I read that most guys just go inside to see what's on the menu (the women, that is) and leave if they don't find anything that suits their fancy.

A few months ago on my first trip to Dominican Republic, I took a bus day trip from Santo Domingo to Sosua to test the water for future mongering destination. And I was impressed with the variety. And for a non Spanish speaker, It was easy to communicate and find my way around. I sampled three girls. And I believe I could have done better on the "looks" department. Naw, man. La Passion. You don't HAVE to buy anything, but it would be in seriously poor form to just sit there and ogle. Get a Coke and chill. Never been in Classico's, but I never saw any place in Sosua that had a drink minimum.

La Passion. Fuck, that place is awesome. The girls are out of this world, and it's the coolest, low-pressure atmosphere. Anybody who says they got hustled or screwed over there either is bullshitting, or was such an asshole to deserve that treatment.

Suggest you tip the girl on your first visit a couple of bucks. Then when you come back again, you'll be a rock star. Good investment. Go ahead, massage is only 1000 pesos.

Just back from Santiago yesterday. More of the same here at New Garden. Miss banging body was there waiting for me. Sorry about having to blank out the face of her below, but I want to return to this place without problems. If I were out on the road in a big city to hide in then that would be different.

At about 11:30 I went over to Passions. There were not any girls there that were lean/athletic enough for me. Passions website has the girl Sara<sp> who came over to talk. She is just as sexy in person as the pics on their website. I think she came over just to give me a look at her. She did not care for conversation, she looked off to the left, then looked off to the right, gave me time to say yes or now, then she splits. Still, a little too bunsie for me as were the rest of the girls. Passions has to do something about this. I do like the specials they have there. $2500 for any girl for take out from 12:00am to 10am with the stipulation in that if you are not happy with the girl during the time to bring it to the attention of management. If you take the girl at 9pm the price goes to only 500Pesos higher. M-Th.

Classicos was fairly subdued. There were a couple of nice girls strutting around. I almost took this, I don’t even know how to describe her, and probably the most gorgeous girl I have seen there yet. Even outside this country I can’t imagine a prettier girl. You had to look hard to see any Spanish, African or Indian decent. None of those qualities stood out. I could not get over how captivating she was. The time was 3am and the best girls were scrambling for the possible dates who they thought had money. So this girl tried to get 3k out of me and then I started grilling her about what time she leaves, etc. Turned out she wanted 3k for one hour. Then she drops the price to 2k and specifies two pops… which is a pretty good deal. I had been drinking cuba libres all night and decided she would still be getting the best of me. I talked her into finding me on any of the nights that follow when it is not so late. She went away quietly but I was unsure she would approach me again.

Then Rosa comes by, the best f**k of my life Rosa. I described her in some of my last years posts. As good as she is she did not fulfill her part of the deal the last two times with me and she knows it. Since there were not that many girls there anymore she probably thought I would have to take her. She did not even want the small talk after our past history together. It was “How about a message”, then when I said it was too late, she turned to ice and just walked away without any closing words. She actually saw me earlier and waited until overtime to make contact. Fine as I don’t need anyone with that kind of hustle.

Throughout this whole time I made contact with this older lady who was with this older German guy. She is probably about 30yo, had straight black hair, 5ft tall sporting a flat belly and very lean body. The kind of girl you look over and she gives off the vibe that she delivers like a port star. She had no problem making a date with me in her guys face. We arranged for a nooner today. Hopefully it works out.

One thing I noticed is since I have been getting the nooners it has taken the pressure off of me to take what ever is at classicos in the evenings. It also makes it easier to set a lower price for these disco girls. Miss banging body likes it too. She gets 1k in the afternoon from me and is free to go for bigger money when all the guys are out hunting in the evening. It is a win-win for both of us.
