I do have any other conformation of whether this true or not so I am reaching to you brothers to confirm that this is truly the case. Everything else is opened except for that. So if anyone is on the ground please send us the latest update to confirm this is what is happening or just another rumor. Crazy!

I am standing outside right now, closed.

    Classicos

Well fellows just got some word from a brother on the ground that Classicos has closed. The owner decided to do it himself for whatever reasons I do not know. Classico Closed Officially Today

I just try to give you real information. Classico officially closed down today. I know people keep saying business as usual, but it is not. Make your calls. I will not spread false rumors.

In the comments someone was saying that was a rumor about Cabarete, not Sosua. I seriously doubt the veracity of any of that. Those smart companies are not going to build shit in the middle of nowhere that hardly anybody goes. Besides that, where would they even put them? You think one of these brands would even build a kiosk on Pedro Clisante? Somebody was even talking about the empty frames overgrown with weeds of places that thought they were going to build things there in days past. Any smart normal tourist is going to be on the east coast; the north is a has been.

    New Hotels

Dominican Today is running an article regarding the North Coast new development of 3 new high end hotels slated for Sosua with a US $350 million investment creating 2000 new jobs. You can check it out on "Dominicantoday.com". They are talking about a new W Hotel, The Ritz Carlton Reserve, and The Luxury Collection. These are the new hotels that will be built under that investment. Of course it remains to be seen if in fact it will come to pass. This might be one reason the Cestur is harassing the the local folks on the street. Prostitution is LEGAL, so why do they hassle the girls? Your guess is as good as mine.

Sosua is what it is and I have been going for years and still do and plan to continue to do so. There are slow seasons and high seasons but you can always find what you are looking for no matter what time of year it is. Some days are just better than others. What they fail to realize is that we are the financial backbone of that town. Are they trying to send us a message? I wonder what the real strategy is and what they want to happen. Looks to me like they are sending a message to stay away. But the chicas are resilient and won't stop the business anytime soon in my opinion. But for sure come November the streets will be packed as their Christmas season begins and the tourist head back to Sosua to beat the cold.

Take care my brothers and don't worry to much about these crackdowns. FYI, this article is on Youtube by the "Educated Traveler" if you care to search it out. They are stifling tourism.

    Peace,

    Relax OK.

You can still get all the cheap beautiful young fresh pussy you want in Sosua!

It will remain so as long as freelance prostitution is legal.

Only if they make solicitation illegal, or the cops start hassling clients, will it really change. I'm here and I don't see that happening! CESTOUR is still waving at the mongers.

It's always been hit and miss for the average casual monger, depending on time of day, day of week, and month of year!

The High Season, November to through March will be a better indicator of what's going on, not hurricane season!

Has it changed? What hasn't in the last 10 years? LOL.

Ok, lets hear what the reports are like November / December. I'll finally make up my mind then for my January / February trip - the Sue or Montreal.

Exactly, words of wisdom from FF. By the way, no hotels are coming; these rumours resurface once in two-four years and then disappear.

New guy here. Was planning a trip down to Sosua since I can't remember for this fall.

A few weeks ago, I though I had missed out of my luck reading that September and October were usually slow months and that on top of that, the city was putting strict regulation on the sex scene down there.

In doubt, I even cancelled my plane flight and thought I'd try another place instead.

Now with the last message stating this it's all in people's head and nothing's happening. I'm in serious doubt about who to believe at this point.

    The End of Sosua

I'm sure I'm not the only BM who scarfs wings at Flip Flop restaurant in Sosua. Here's what the owner wrote earlier today:

CLOSED for Business. The end of Sosua.

    On: Today at 09:09:08 AM.

Now that I have your attention.

Is there a retard virus spreading in the US? You guys are utterly ridiculous. Sosua is not closing and your "Reliable" Sources of Hooker, drug dealers and motoconchos don't know shit.

    First the Meeting.

    - This meeting was conducted because the mayor wanted to notify everyone that once she made the Call about the move. Only one business signed the paperwork to move. Basically the others said "Fuck off".

She was asking for an agreement and resolution.

The reality is she can't legally do anything but she wants to. IMO, She probably owns that plaza that is still not built and wants a money run.

If you pay any attention, the only places mentioned are Flow, Rumba and Classico. The places WE like. If the strip closes tomorrow there will be a super campaign to get your boo at the plaza. So please use common sense.

The worst part about this entire thing is WE are the ones spreading it. It seems like you want Sosua to die. Us and Only US are spreading this fear that shit is changing.

And guys are canceling due to what their peoples are telling them.

A good friend of mine, said just like this on Sunday -.

No Hookers, No moto, My Man is in front of classico right now and it is closed. Done. I read the message and sent him a video of the 10 k bottle of Grey Goose I was drinking while partying at the exact moment he sent the message.

Monday I was told Merengue is closed and I was sitting at the bar.

Like WTF. If your not here then shut up. And stop listening to the streets. Chics saying shit bad while they twerking in the club.

My frustration is from the Million and one messages and text when I am actually outside. I kind of want the shit to close so all of you can be happy and we can move on.

Nothing is closing. If you think city hall is sharing info with hookers and motos then your an idiot. NO ONE knows because city hall still has no plan.

They are rounding girls up "sometimes" to give a sense of power.

You guys made gave popeyes 30 millions dollars for a damn chicken sandwich and your putting that same energy into killing sosua.

Sosua is only dying in your tex messages, whatsapp groups and facebook groups.

Nothing is closing, No business men in Sosua are worried. No one has any secret info about closures because it does not exist.

8 years and I have been right. You guys with the fear crap are killing the town. Meanwhile everyone who is here is having a ball. The lies are killing me because someone always got a friend here but I can't never find them.

I'm blowing my bread hanging out and being told shit is closed.

    Cancel ya damn trip.

This is actually becoming pathetic how we spread rumors like old ladies in church. Not one source on the street, or anywhere has any info.

Because city hall has no direct plan. 8 years she been wanting shit moved. 8 years its till going and even stronger now (High season returns).

We went from a serial killer in resorts to the strip. You guys with the rumors and you guys alone are killing this place. I have been out 7 days straight and shit been like the old days.

Tuesday was real slow but its Tuesday- Merengue was still packed.

When the shit finally closes as most of you seem to want, I will advise ASAP so you can be happy.

    That is all.

May I suggest that this is different

I was in the zoo in August only because it was my boys birthday weekend. Despite fumbles and basically no street activity, the Sue did what she was supposed to do. The guys enjoyed the time.

I'm currently in the DR, however I'm going to give the Sue a break. IMHO you are right this is low activity time. The city needs to feel a financial strain, then they will be ready to deal or not deal with situation at hand.

I have been going for years and never seen streets so deserted and chicks so afraid to come. This might explain it. We always talked about cruise ship passengers that never came, but how will Pedro fit in with putas and these new hotels:
