This is still low season and you are seeing 3 or 4 hundred without going to the casino which has the most numbers typically. WOW having so many women does several things that help the guys. Here is my two cents worth: In the good old days, which means prior to the INTERNET, everything happened in person. You check the goody / ies and then invite. A sane person should invite for a drink or water, that gets you an opportunity to size up the other (I wonder what they did in the pre google translate days though, but digressing). I would definitely recommend the invite for a drink as this gives you an opportunity to figure out if you indeed want to walk in to your room with an unknown entity. The good thing about online is that hopefully you know more about the person through chats but proof of the pudding is still in the EATING. That is how the saying goes the other side of the pond. If it is WINE and DINE dictated by the other party, it certainly is not worth it. But if it gives you a better buzz, I am sure most would be obliging you. An old smartphone and a cheap but robust watch will do just fine. Even clothes: you can look nice sans expensive designer stuff. You will draw far less attention from the wrong kind of people if you don't look like a fully decorated Christmas tree. That'll help you with the chicas in the room as well: tell them openly that there just isn't stuff worthwile nicking.

There is a booth down the way a bit from the Jolly Roger on the same side that will treat you fairly. There are better spots but 1 or 2 percent will not be any good if you get cheated- you probably want pesos before you get to Sosua though. You will need to pay for the cab etc- you will get screwed if you pay in dollars- let me know how the whole thing works out- leave Sosua at 1 - you will probably have lots of time but the later you leave it the worse the traffic is on the detour.
