Hey Fellas,

I have a somewhat unexpected break at work, so I have the bulk of August off.

I am thinking of doing a 2-3 week mongering vacation to treat myself before my work resumes in September.

I have never been to the DR and have been wanting to go check out Sosua for a few years now as I've heard good things about it and reading this (and other) forums for a while now. I love big butts and curvy women.

The major thing that scares me away is the weather, I looked at various forecasts and it's mid-thirties (Celcius) and "Feels like" 45 degrees Celcius. That sounds incredibly hot and humid! Plus most days there is a chance of a thundershower, etc.

My question to all of the veterans of Sosua is: how bad (or good) is Sosua in August? Is the hear bearable? Are there many chicas at this time or is it really dead? Would you bother going at this time or maybe wait until later in the year?..

If I am you I will go to Rio Brazil, good weather low season a lot of ladies cheap flights, low rental apartments second choice Costa Rica I hope wherever you go you have fun thanks.

Perla de Sosua Economy Vacation Rental Apartments.

It will be my 4th stay at Perla de Sosua. Extremely good for a very tight budget! Very basic clean rooms with ac and ceiling fan. Good wi-fi and mini fridge. Quiet place. Just use a mini pocket flashlight walking back to apartment at night. Never felt in danger or afraid.

Nope, not joking. I've only been a few times but, so far, I've never seen it. The black American guys seem not too interested in them anyways because I mostly see them trying to hook up with curvaceous Dominicanas.

By the way, I'm not judging anything or anybody. I am just a curious newbie trying to understand the "unwritten rules" of Sosua or if there even any to understand. Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks and all that. If, during my next trip, I see plenty of NYC dudes walking arm in arm with Haitianas then I'll just say, "oh well...I guess those other times were just flukes".

It's not really that big a deal.

Keep in mind that most of the few remaining posters on this thread are African Americans trying to save face. You saw what it is. Go to Sosua a fucking million times and you will see the same pattern with little to zero deviation. African Americans don't go to Sosua to bang black chicks, which is usually their only option in the states.

It's all about light skinned Dominicans.

P.S. In case it makes a difference, my other options are: 1) Germany (flights from Vancouver are same price as to the DR, and even less time to get there = 9 hrs) 2) Costa Rica? 3) Mexico. Cancun / Playa de Carmen area.

In my opinion, if you have 10 Haitians in Sosua only 3 will look good. Most of the Haitians that I have seen in Sosua are not pretty and I like dark women. I see a lot of my white friends with Haitians and think 'yuuuckkk'. For most of my homies, Haitians have to look like this:

Do you need more visits or have your few visits caused your opinion to be conclusive about Haitianas, non Germans / black USA guys? All the times Me and other guys got hit on by Haitianas as I / we were passing Bar Central, sitting at Rockys Restaurant, or hanging in front of dee Latins, they must of thought I / we were German? Maybe they thought I / we were Black Germans instead of USA black guys? That would explain how we had so much Haitiana juice over the years.

I don't know. I don't know you. All I can say is what I've seen on a few visits so far. Maybe during my next trip I will see Haitian women hit on black American guys.

Sorry, did not have a clue that you were referring to the US soccer team. I watched them on one occasion and then found out that the coach was none other than Klinsmann.

BTW, the white stock in the US is primarily of four nationalities: Germans, the Dutch, Brits (Irish included) and Italians Just to state that 50% are Germans would be a little too many. LOL.

It was purely a joking reference to the US soccer team, not to the population in general. Good to see you correctly including the Irish among the Brits, though, as they come from the British Isles.

Not sure the Dutch contribute much of a percentage though, compared with Russians and Poles. Though I imagine when in the States your social circle is confined to the Van Rensselaers, Schuylers, Stuyvesants, Van Horns, Gouverneurs, Rockefellers, etc, so you might get that impression. "Dutch" in many other contexts, like "Pennsylvania Dutch" really means "German (Deutsche)".

In my few visits to Sosua I haven't seen even once a Haitian female with a non-German male. They don't even look at the black USA Guys.

Look harder. Many haitianas with Italians, French, Brits, other Europeans (though rarely East Europeans) and Canadians, especially French Canadians. .

They don't even look at the black USA Guys.

I have found that most black Americans are looking for paler skinned women. And they are suckers for died blonde hair (which doesn't look good on haitianas). So maybe haitianas have found that is not a good sector to target. But there are many exceptions. Most of the black guys in my circle enjoy haitianas as much as I do (or we wouldn't hang together).

Most haitianas cannot afford to be picky.

LOL. WWII ended 69 years ago! For five years Bar Central was my preferred place to hang in Sosua. Never experienced or witnessed any coolness to non-Germans. Only problem was occasionally we would get talking and they would try to involve me in their buying rounds when I had neither the finances nor the metabolism to keep up. Had many a good chat with them, swapping notes on various haitianas. Plus another problem from which you would not suffer, derision of my national soccer team. Half of yours are Germans, anyway!

Only problem was occasionally we would get talking and they would try to involve me in their buying rounds when I had neither the finances nor the metaboilism to keep up. Had many a good chat with them, swapping notes on various haitianas. Plus another problem from which you would not suffer, derision of my national soccer team. Half of yours are Germans, anyway!

I had a sausage and fries this trip at that place and yes, it is a regular place. Indeed a French guy was trying to teach the waitress some French (deux cents) who was trying her English on him. I later sat at the tables on the road (a remarkable change seeing men and women sitting at the tables along the main strip) that were serviced by that bar, chatting with an Italian, chugging down beer.

Is Bar Central that German hangout in the center of the block across from the'Latins? I see a lot of Haitian chicas in there that I'd like to taste but I always feel like non-Germans aren't exactly invited to hangout and pick-up "their" girls. I could be way off but that is the vibe I sense when I walk by there.

You may be confused with the guys eating at the German place next door, and I have never got the impression Bar Central was a "German Bar". In fact I noticed a lot of French Canadians in there during the Winter when I was here. Some of the Canadians where going with two Haitians at a time, and I know why!
