Unexpectedly met a chica I knew from SD. She worked in Oasis for month or two before moving on.
I was in Bailee, left in the earlybevening to for a short stroll to Rumbas. As I walked past the front row seats she recognized me from our time together. I nodded briefly trying to remember her ass. As mentioned by many fellas here, they change their looks like changing socks. When she smiled then it hit me to remember her. She is a my type of natural cutie but a papi leche type. We hugged. I got us both drinks. She ordered something nonalcoholic limonade. She offered 2500 pesos for the hour as a good friend discount. LOL. Well ok I barely remember our experience before so let's go. In Bailee, Rumbas and Playa Chica I offer hot chicas 2 mil and add 500 pesos propina if service is good enough for a repeat. Why'all do what you want with your money.
She noticed my nice shirt was slightly damaged. It was slightly torn walking through the gate at Bailee.
She tells me she will fix it for me in the room. Well ok nice. I told her in spanish, fine —you the wife for an hour, as a joke. She laughed a lot about that. She takes us across the street from Bailee, there is a large two-story garment-type store run by a Chinese family. She is in the aisles buying needles, threads to match the shirt, other stuff to repair my pants, new laces for shoes. Damn wifed up pretty quick! She buys a bunch of threaded stuff for my clothes, shoes, shirt, pants.
We walk to Europa. Inside she starts repairing the shirt, adjusting the hem on the pants, new laces for shoes. She ironed a few shirts and in between would stop to give me a sloppy blowjob along the way. She brings my whisky to refill anytime it got low. She cooked some small dishes to put in the fridge for later. Life is good when a DR chica is giving you a blowjob while the NFL game is on and taking care of my needs. Yes, "Rey" for an hour. In the Brazil sao paulo forum some called IOP Illusion of Passion.
Sometime later the wifey part begins. She start in about how much rent she pays, hair salon, ninera, money for abuela. Yup fun and games are over. I know it's downhill from here. Shit, I didn't learn Duolingo Spanish to hear and understand all her money problems. When she was done I replied with my list of bills and ended with mamacita its time for divorcio. Our time is over, I officially announce the divorce. She laughed hard. I paid the agreed 2500 pesos. She gave a hug, left walking back to Rumba. I napped in peace for couple hours. Divorce Dominican Sosua style.

Posts: 1987When I was staying in the Alicia Beach hotel I was in a lot of pain from some dental work that had been performed on me that day. So, I asked the security guard where I could get some pain medicine. He pointed me to a pharmacy located on Dr. Alejo Martinez. It was an excellent recommendation and I continue to exclusively use the pharmacy initially recommended to me to this day.
If you are walking along Dr. Alejo Martinez and you hit La Puntilla you have passed it. A landmark is the empanada shop almost right across the street from it. I found the prices to be comparable to what I pay in Santo Domingo este. A little higher but not outrageous. Which is to be expected considering they probably do not have the volume. Over all there are many pharmacies located in Sosua and all are within easy walking distance if you are price sensitive.
I thought I posted a review of the empanada shop. But I could not find it. So I will do it here. Their empanadas are excellent there. The are full of the fillings and there are many varieties. If it is not late in the day (before closing) they will make more of a type if they are out of something you like. That occurred after I became a regular visitor. The girl on shift when I would usually visit was learning English. She liked to practice with me. The fresh juices are good too. I don't know if hers were good as I did not taste them.
My only complaint is that it is set up for tourists with the pricing. You don't see any Dominicans buying out of there. I have not found the Dominican empanada shop yet. The prices are double what I would pay in Santo Domingo este (remember it is separate municipality from Santo Domingo not a barrio) or what I would pay in Santo Domingo.

Brief report from on the ground. Checked into hotel Europa. They got tight security at night. Fine chicas at Bailees. . Eye candy everywhere. Met many, many chicas that live in SD and LOS Alcarrizos in Sosua for a few weeks to make renta. I told them why the heck I traveled five hours on caribe tours to meet you here. ! Haha.
Went to Rumba kings. Grabbed a front seat to drink. The bar room with air conditioning was a relief! Glad it wasn't packed. As mentioned many times the chicas running from the Politur.
Rumbas were packed with good-looking honeys. I prefer playa chica club but my old ass can't stay up too late when things get rolling there.

If blackbeards is charing 3000 pesos for ST (and they supposedly administer monthly health checks and you are more protected from problem chicas / potential petty thieves). I would only have to assume, I should be paying less than this on the street. I guess argument for other independent contractor's could be they have less turnover. But that may not even be the case for chicas who are pounding the pavement daily in the Su. They also have TLN (2 pops) 5000 pesos (9 pm) and TLN (3 pops) 7000 pesos (6 pm).
Will be spending my last day in the north coast at Blackbeards before I head to santiago for my last day to see the monument and 1-2 chicas depending on how I did w my budget and my mood.
I'm not at the point yet that I struggle w erections (even when drunk) but I do plan on grabbing some Viagra / Ciallis / Mambo 36. Which trusted place has the best prices? I'm not trying to grab something from a dude on the street. There is a farmacia by the Super Pola & Caribe express that I will be going to on my first day to grab some groceries and exchange money but some reviews on google seem to say that place is overpriced. Somebody paid more than 2 x the price (50 pesos) for lozanges at Farmacia Carol compared to Super Pola 17 pesos.

We of course, given where we come from, tend to overthink. I was reading some comments on Kenya which were positive but then after reading the Kenya forum in depth, I also read about being a target and fear of violence. Long live the DR!

I realized that after I posted.
But I'm on moderation, and I can't respond to amigo GM. Also not able to edit, after I hit the post button, and my posts show up a day late.
It's a pain in the ass, trying to have a sensible conversation in real time.
A "LOL" on his post would have helped, though!
Go GM!
Go GrownMan1.

The guy was so wound up no amount help is going to save him. He is bleeding flesh and the sharks will devour him. I am sure inspite of all that he will have a great time. Blind squirrels can have an awesome time in Sosua.

The DR is too close to the mainland and apparently without much respect for its own cultural anchor and so money is the only thing that speaks and converts, a shame indeed for a place in the sun.

Now we have our good amigo GrownMan1, advising to pre pay and add a $50 bonus to some online chica the monger has never met?
What's going on here?
It used to be a man's world here. No wonder the chicas are trolling for low hanging fruit.
LOL.
