6 years ago I shifted my entertainment to Thailand, Colombia, and Kenya. Loved every minute. Best decision I could make. Stopping in Sosua for 18 days. Cheap flight, shortest distance. The negativity from forum has me leery but I think I can adjust to whatever changes. Few questions.

Is there a place to buy a three week sim card / minutes package for 3 weeks? Did this in Jamaica was economical. Is Classico still open? Do you still have the mainly Haitian girls on the other block of Pedro Clisante? Do they still have corner guys exchanging cash? List of nice Airbnb's complexes near the strip? The time clubs lock down?

The last trip in early spring, I stayed in the Garden Condos, it was a very nice complex. I found in on Airbnb. A few years earlier, I stayed at Condos Dominicanos, but I wasn't sure if it was open last trip, and couldn't find it on Airbnb. Garden Condos had a nice pool, looked fairly new, and was in a courtyard, garden setting. Both of these are a short walk to the strip.

My trips to other countries is usually a month or more. Always seem like not enough time. I was in that thinking mode when I selected the 18 days just to get out of the states. Finding a main chick is a solid tip. Appreciate. What are the online options besides tinder that works well? Can anybody add to that?

Classicos is history sadly, it has been replaced by the casino on Playa Chicita. The numbers are good but quality not as nice. Never the less you can find more then enough good action. Rumbas and Bailey's are good for early afternoon action. The weekend is when the girls come in droves. You can buy a sim card from claro for almost any time period. Dominican chicas are still in the majority. The beach is a good place to kill time and site see.

Sosua is small most of the airbnb are decent read reviews to make your decision. 18 days in Sosua would be unbearable for me. Things are slow until the week end. I would consider visiting other cities to see the country Airbnbs in the other cities are awesome. If find a girl she you like could be a great travel partner Hope this helps good luck.

Last year I realized that Caribe drops you off in Charamicos while Metro bus drops in off in Sosua at Texaco station.

They both provide great service.

The buses run almost every half an hour. The buses leaving on the half hour are express buses to Sosua and cost 10 dollars for a 4 to 5 hour trip. The buses are comfortable. A cab willl charge between 150 to 200 dollars and take at least 3 an half hours. If you have deep pockets and are in a rush do the taxi. A local would never use a cab. Like taking a cab from New York to Washington. You would need to catch a cab to Caribe tours $30. I just hop on the bus and take a nap.

Perhaps I am the only sensitive one but it sounds so crass, the mindset of the Nortenos, being "explicit" and using the US vocab, translated but in a completely different contextual backdrop. Yes, but by your logic, aren't you using similar schematics? Many men would shudder at have an encounter with a woman from the street, period. They have their ways of filtering out the ones they don't want and you, as a man, can do the same. It's a business transaction. Ideally, it shouldn't feel too businesslike, but that's how we make sure both partners are benefiting from the transaction. As far as the "contextual backdrop". Ummm, I'm pretty sure these ladies have working eyes and brains and most are "hip" to the "lingo". I mean, this is a major sex tourist destination. I'm just back from five days, and I would have to say that the quantity of thin, young women that I like has increased over recent years. Late August is low season and there were not as many girls on the weeknights, but on the weekend probably fifty in Rumbas and twenty more in or around Bar Central, which are my two favorite spots. I typically pulled a different girl each night and get Whatsapp numbers to arrange visits to my hotel midday. One was a strikingly attractive twenty year old local, and at the other end was a 37 year old who gave the best head of the trip. Most were in their early twenties and from Puerto Plata. I offered 3000 pesos ($55 usd) which was typically accepted without a lot of pushback, which made me feel it was the right rate, if not a bit on the generous side.

For those heading to Sosua for the first time, the girls hang in a compact area where the two main streets intersect, coming out in the early evening. Some will verbally solicit and may grab you as you walk by, but more wait for you to approach. Take your pick and walk up and say Hello,. They can be shy at first but pretty quickly warm up and get all flirty. I speak Spanish but you can get along fine with sign language.

I always buy her a drink--or often her and her friend. I'll also generally buy drinks for girls I recognize from previous nights. First, ladies shouldn't have to sit around without a drink and many will go home without hooking up. Second, the bars deserve the business. (they give shelter to the girls run off the streets when the cops sweep through) Drinks are only four or five bucks so any American flying down can certainly afford it.

I really enjoy the flirtatious stage hanging with a pretty girl. As someone mentioned Rumbas is very brightly lit but Bar Central has dark corners where a girl that was quite shy a moment ago can get quite touchy as she works you toward taking her home. If you feel like moving on she'll be very disappointed and demanding, but get her Whatsapp and firmly explain that you just got here and want to explore the town.
