True! The women I meet with, typically come either from Pto Pta on one side and from Sabaneta etc, on the other but I know a few who live in La Union, and used to know people also from Charamicos etc. The thing is that there is still some form of shame in many girls and I know for a fact that some do not want to be seen walking the streets in Sosua also because of police hassle. I can't count how many times I've had situations similar to his in the DR.

If you are experiencing it, that means you are doing a whole bunch of things right, starting from choosing the right kind of women plus treating them right, so they too feel comfortable being themselves in your presence. Never say never! But I have traveled to about 50 countries around the world. Mostly Europe and Asia (I used to live in Singapore and so know Asia / Aus-NZ well). I never experienced what I just described before, in that spontaneous a manner. Of course one of the biggest challenge is the language. I have been told that Brazil / Colombia (and perhaps Cuba as you described) are also spontaneous but I do not have any personal experience, never having been there.

I look at the Sue like it's one popular karaoke bar around the corner from my house. It's easy for many first timers to get up on the stage and do their thing.
