This is a report from five days in mid June. Compared to August last year I'd say there are somewhat more girls around, and I paid more.

Upon arriving midday I ran the tables at Bailees. There were 20-30 girls, many high quality, but they all wanted $80-100 (quoting me in dollars). And frankly they didn't seem friendly or service-oriented.

The nighttime situation was much better. Starting around six the streets start to fill up and by the time it gets dark there are several hundred girls in a couple block radius. On Friday the crowd grew with a bunch of ladies in from Santo Domingo. I found them a bit more sophisticated: better dressed, smoother shaved, sexually advanced (e. G. Rimming), and often wanting more $ (not always).

Reading the entire exchange I have to say I am in your camp Turgid. Of course I do not have your level of experience or worldly travels when it comes to mongering.

But I spent almost a month in Sosua without an encounter with one "insert derogatory term of your choice that I don't use" here. And my percentages are similar to yours. 10% Outstanding, 80% Excellent 10% poor. For Sosua and the Dominican Republic as a whole.

I live here. I have adapted to the culture. I don't like all of it. But I also know the negative Sosua culture that some have described here is not the norm for the entire culture or country. And I have no dog in the fight, but when I see entire country comparisons being made by people living in other countries because they had a bad experience in a puta pueblo in Republica Dominicana I cringe. And honestly I think it says more about the person making the comments than it does about individuals who live in Sosua. People who want things to be as they think need to look into the toilet after they use it and see what it fills up with. Flush and then talk about their wishes to that same toilet and see what happens.

I would like to add that I believe the law of attraction is in full effect and that you have to be very careful with what you are allowing your inner voice to tell you about the outside world. I look for sweethearts, and I tend to find them. But then again, I stay focused on the deal and not the girl. I make an effort to sense and feel chemistry between me and the girl (even if all she is looking for is money). And it has served me well. Even in Sosua.

My only problem with Sosua is the cost of pussy there and the distance I have to drive to get there. After I am there I have always had a great trip full of fun experiences of all types.

Are you basing this percentage on the DR chicas or on overall services internationally? How would you compare the over service in the Sosua with the other places you've been?

I was in Cali Colombia last week. Comparing the overall Chica performances in both cities is like comparing. Wendy's to Longhorn in terms of quality and service.

Nothing wrong with being a nice guy. Just as long as you know what you're dealing with. Dolphins are great fun mammals that swim with the sharks all the time as they avoid getting eating up. And from your percentages in dealing with women sounds like you know what you're doing as well. So it's all good.

My first trip I used to be sympathetic to all the kids that beg for money in sosua but once you give they will never stop to ask and will ruine your vacation. I may not give them anything but me coming to sosua helps the community.

I don't feel sorry for any woman offering her body for money espcially if that same woman can get work as a waitress. These girls spend hours at Bailes but you will never see them trying to learn english.

Being nice in Sosua is a good receipe for bad experience. Every guy going to sosua needs a playbook, what you will and will not allow. And be consitent and true to yourself. Like Coolie said they are sharks, and they want to get your money will less effort, most don't care about seeing you again. But the smart ones know that good customer service means repeating business. What annoys me the most is a girl that gives a bad performance and expects you to pick her another day.

3rd Trip to Sousa first time writing here we go.

I stayed at an Airbnb in my previous trips I stayed at grand Laguna but I wanted something walking distance to the strip so I chose this Airbnb on David Stern Street.

I got to Airbnb by flying into POP from Newark.

Ironically, the greatest percentage of poor service I have had has been with Dominican working ladies. I have had my fair share of 'leche papi'. Possibly my worst encounter was with a Dominican in a brothel in Trinidad who would not let me touch her (yes you read that right), no touching of her legs, breast or any part of her body, I was to just get hard and enter her. Needless to say I got dressed and reported to the papasan; surprisingly, he gave me back part of the money I paid which I did not expect. Should I hate this woman? Should I refer to her in the most derogatory terms to my friends? I think for me to do that would demonstrate a greater flaw in me than on her.

Yeah having cards stacked against you and being at a disadvantage is NOT an excuse to rob, lie and cheat out another human being you just met. If we agree on a price then do good business and honor that price. Not come to the spot, see how I'm living and then change the price later because you see that I'm living at a nice place. Or steal from me when I'm not looking. I'm NOT sympathetic to sharks simply because they feel that this is the only option. And its not. Theres ALWAYS another way. Majority of the women down here do NOT come to Sosua and commence to rob and lie when their backs are against the wall. They figure it out and find a better way to deal with the pressure of life. And they come from similar economic backgrounds so again not being born with a silver spoon in your mouth does NOT give you the right to treat folks who may have more then you financially, egregiously. And for the record I have really good friends that comes from supreme wealth and I've notice that finance does not stop life from pushing your back up against the wall and making you reveal your true character. I'm talking about dealing with crazy shit and immense pressure that would make freddy kruger have nightmares.

So as the pressure of life reveal who we are I stay away from the lady scumbags, hyenas, pirrahnas and sharks and lounge towards the butterflies, the lioness and gazelles that's not going to fold and commence to believe that when times are hard fucking over folks and stealing is the only way to survive. Because like I said earlier theres ALWAYS another way.

I enjoyed reading your report and info on "Sharks" so I wanted to briefly comment. I support and understand where Turgid is coming from, bc I too am a bit sympathetic toward the Sosua honeys, the desperate ones, the very poor and dirty footed ones, etc LOL. But I must say I agree w you more. Because poverty isn't an excuse to lie, rob, etc. If anything, the Haitianas have it worse, many children in many poorer countries have it worse, no food, no water, etc. And these hunnies for the most part are being overpaid if anything. One session for 2500 pesos earns them just about as much as anyone working an entire week. Yes I know not all can get a job and many have no choices. But still w that in mind is why I don't feel much pity or allow them to abuse or deepened their Shark teeth in any longer. We're all victim somehow in life, just in different steps in the ladder or food chain.
