You will have a great time. If you have done MDE and CR you will have no trouble. I suggest first day you hang at the popular monger meeting places (Rocky's, Shark Bar if open, New Garden, Passions, Black Box on the beach, etc) and talk to other mongers. If you are an agreeable person I guarantee you will find guys only too willing to show you the ropes. It is only human nature to enjoy parading our relative expertise. If, on the other hand, you are a braggart, a drunk, you don't like to pay for your own drinks, or have a personal hygiene problem you may have to cope alone.

Asia can get crazy but I got by luckily. MDE and CR, I have done with the benefit of some Spanish speakers. I took 4 years of Spanish in school but remember very little. For this trip, I am going with an even bigger noob so I'm afraid we'll have bullseyes painted on our backs. Will check the above mentioned places to meet like-minded people.

I'm planning my trip to DR and got a ticket to Santiago for June 9. 12.

I was planning on staying at BBs or New Garden but it seems like they are booked solid for those days. I ended up getting a room in Tierra Linda instead. I've been on mongering trips before but mostly in Thailand, Cambo, the Philippines, CR, and Medellin but this is really my first time alone in a Latin American country so I need a little intel.

How is Sosua for noobs? I was looking at shooting fish in a barrel at BBs or NG for a few days until I get my bearings straight but it seems that I don't have that option. Can non-guest still hang at the pool at BBs or NG, and can I do take out at those places? Also, what's good for daytime action? From the board, I've seen La Passion and Classicos as MPs. What nightclubs and bars are recommended?

I think Sosua will be perfect for new people. BB's even better, but unless you plan on renting a car, you are pretty much stuck there unless you find other people with a rental car. Cabs can get expensive going back and forth from BB's to Sosua. There is no Bikini contest there that weekend, but a Ms Universe which I never been too. I have been fortunate enough to always be in the DR on bikini weekends. The nice part of BB's and Passions is the salary cap, or fixed pricing. Its not the cheapest, but these girls will generally not rip you off, and if there are any problems, you can report to somebody. I have never been in a situation where I had too.

Good choice. It's between the New Garden and Rocky's (two places where you can meet mongers) and two minutes walk from the main strip. In fact, almost everything of interest in Sosua is within walking distance.

You are a bit confused here.

BB (Blackbeards) is not in Sosúa. It is an hour's ride, the other side of Puerto Plata. With only four days you might want to give it a miss unless you run into other guys with a car keen to go there so you can share costs.

You can certainly hang as a non-resident at BB and NG but you wouldn't want to take out. At BB's residents pay a premium for the convenience of having the chicas on site. As a non-resident you would have to pay for a room there or elsewhere. No point in taking a Blackbeards chica back to Sosúa. If you are willing to pay inflated prices you might as well go straight to Passions, no hassle.

The chicas hanging at New Garden are generally regarded as hard-core and towards the bottom of the barrel (with the occasional exception). Again, their value is as a convenience for residents who are too drunk or lazy to stagger out and find better chicas at lower prices.

Clasico Disco is not a massage parlour. It is the leading night-club and pick-up place. Doesn't get going until about 11. 00pm.

Daytime action is a problem since the December crack-down on prostitution. Your best bet is to collect phone numbers of chicas you fancy when you meet them at night and ring them during the afternoon (most sleep all morning). They will be glad to make some extra cash in the day. Pay 1000 to 1500 pesos short-time and never pay in advance. Your first day, before you have collected any numbers, I would visit Passions or CMP.

Passions is a MP, that has takeout also. CMP (Caribbean Mens Paradise) has chicas onsite. Sosua is very small, you can walk around the El Batey section of Sosua in 30 minutes or less. Sosua has two parts that are separated by about a mile long beach, Playa Sosua. On the west side of Sosua Beach is Charamicos, Sosua, where many Dominicans live. On the east side of the beach is the El Batey part of Sosua, which is where the hotels and bars are located.

Classicos is a bar on the second floor, located above another bar. Classicos usually gets going later in the night. Can be useful to collect cell phone numbers at night, to call chicas for daytime action.

Passions Massage is open in the daytime.

Don't listen to all the BS about Sosua not being what it used to be, blah blah blah. You will have a blast. Remember though, during the week there might only be 100 girls to choose from instead of 300, hahaha. It's kind of like going to the candy store and instead of having 20 kinds of bubblegum the store is now only carrying 15, who gives a shit, I still have 15 kinds to choose from which is plenty in my opinion.

I'm black and heading to Sosua for the first time. I'm not a wifebeater or make it rain in the club person. Just a person who like to travel and experience new things. So I'm guess by reading a few reports majority of the ladies don't like black men or if I'm not flashy with my money or the ladies would jack up the price cause I'm black. .

The girls like black guys. I've never met a girl who was turned off by me. The girls are attracted to money. But color isn't an issue. I'm lite brown. And I kind of look dominican so that might give me an advantage. But don't stress about anything, you'll have a blast. The wife beater comment refers to the types of shirt black guys wear "the white tank top is called a wife beat".

From reading recent posts, seems there are still plenty of chicas in Sosua. There are always nutty or bad service chicas in every bunch, throughout the DR.

As a newbie to Sosua, you will probably have a lot of fun. CMP and Passions also exist in Sosua. Passions has a website with photos.

Facebook, Hi5. Com, badoo. Com, sexyono. Com, tagged. Com are free sites that have Dominican chicas. DominicanCupid. Com is a pay site, you pay a small fee for something like a three month membership, they probably have longer term memberships.

I disagree because my statement was strictly regarding looks. In the Del Rey, there are usually many dime pieces. Comparing it to somewhere like Clasicos would be a joke. I don't know how your game is, but you can feel up, get hand jobs and all kinds of stuff from dime pieces and not even take them. As far as that cien starting price, I would never pay that as you can grab the same babe for much cheaper at Key Largo or some other places or even in the Del Rey, depending on what kind of chemistry you develop. I'm speaking from my experiences so others may be different. I admit that I don't like some of the plastic surgery of the girls from Medellin, but I like the different looks of Dominicanas, Nicas, Ticas, Colombianas, etc. Also, you can hit a lot of the casas that mostly Ticos go to and get great prices. This is why dudes with intel wind up tappin 4 or 5 dif babes a day in CR.

As far as Sosua, there are some nice chicas there but you don't have the numbers and certainly not the dimes, which is why a lot of guys often grab a babe and keep her. The girls in Sosua tend to be more like little girls with motoconcho scars compared to a greater proportion of women in CR or even Colombia. The great thing about Sosua is that it is like fishing in a bucket and low hanging fruit without having to be locked into one spot like Barba Negra.

Don't get me wrong, I love Dominicanas more overall because they are more freaky that chicas in a lot of other places, in general, and less business oriented as you implied. But blame the business part on the stupid gringos that went there are ran up the numbers. Hopefully, the New Sosua will not see runups on the numbers as well.

I agree with you observations about MDE. MDE, in general, is pretty conservative. Thy have some pretty women, no doubt, but you don't get your ego stroked as often as you would in the DR. Cuba took this a step further for me the few times that I visited. Cuban women were even more ready to get busy that Dominicanas, if one can even imagine that, LOL.

I think the key is to hit as many places as you can to keep things fresh. I know guys now that go to MDE all the time like they used to go to Sosua or Rio. People find a place they like and stay in their comfort zone and take advantage of familiarity. Every place has its pluses and minuses.

We can agree to disagree. Thats what this forum is about. But first let me state what I don't agree with.

If a girl is letting you feel her up and giving you a handjob in public, maybe she is the one running game. I don't even know if game applies in the DelRay where women are on a one hour clock. If you go into a casa and a chica sits on your lap, then you leave, are you really running game?

Its not like the DelRay girls invite you over for dinner, or offer you a day tour of the city, or try to spend the night. And free pussy doesn't apply in the DelRay, so where is the game?

In the old Sosua all this applies. You had to pay them to leave but they never really left. From staking out your hotel, to bribing the security guards to checking your hangouts. Try playing'hide and seek' in Sosua, that takes game. From taking the back streets so you don't get ambushed to arranging new dates by text so you don't have to answer your phone. Having 4 chics put a BOLO (Be On the LookOut) out on you and thinking ahead of them to avoid a scene, thats game.

I will take Classicos any day of the week over DelRay. But the rest of your post especially about the gringos fucking up CR I agree with. But I hate to say it but the 'New Sosua' is on that path.

I'm black second trip to DR, main base Sousa, because the condo I stay in is close to everything, and has view of the ocean.

I joined DominicanCupid. Com before I got here so I had about 10 to 15 contacts from Santo Domingo to La Vega and Sanitago.

I settled on 3, 1 from Santo Domingo I went there to meet her and family had a great time, I was disappointed with the Zona Colonial, thougt it would be more like the old town in Cartagena, Colombia, but nice to see a different part of DR, liked the Monument in Sanitago where I had a evening date with another women.

The other from Santiago didn't want to wait and visited me here in Sousa, nice girl but I liked the other two better, more relaxed and nice, less hoochie about them.

I've been here a month, research for retirement, speak a bit more then basic spanish but avoided the Sousa woman not my style, so if you want to do some work, it's worth it for me, but you'll have no problem getting attention or offers, for what amount I can't say I didn't partake, but from what I saw of the black guys dragging girls back to the condo day and night, they were getting all the attention they could handle

I gree 100. I think a lot of Dominicanas actually prefer AAs. I've hung with many AAs in Sosua and they always had a blast. Don't ever bring any kind of racial baggage with you to a new country. Always go with an open mind.
