For the Santo Domingo ones -had to negotiate before they started travel. For the local Sosua. Didn't really talk about money (hinted good service good money) and when I gave him 150 each next day afternoon after whole night of debauchery and party -they were super happy. It helps to feed them and get them drinking and they all had a good time as well.

We had a great time that night and we sent them home next day afternoon with USD 150 each (not at all a bad investment) one can pull things off without breaking the bank.

    Massage Girls

Current plan is to spend a couple of months in the DR this winter, of which one if not both will most likely be in Sosua. I really enjoyed a good body rub from the girls across from the Jolly Roger or one of the other little shops and was wondering if they have also been removed from Pedro Clisante along with the other girls.

Either way would not impact my plans just a little less fun is all. Have all the sports bars moved? I believe it Kings / Rumbas where I usually watched sports and understand it has relocated.

One upside is that appears the price of monthly rentals is down from last year.

Sosua / Puerto Plata -things are still good.

Was in Puerto Plata in late September for about 8 days with a bunch of my buddies. Stayed in Lifestyle (and at last figured out how to get chicas in and out. If you need to know how PM me). We had made some arrangements to get some Colombian chicas from Santo Domingo as one of my buddies was more into lighter skin. While it was fairly expensive (like approaching 700+ a day excluding transport), the quality was really something (these girls were actually models and have decent profiles on instagram with their modelling work). After the first 2 days, we sent them their way. I had also connected to a lot of FB friends 2 months prior and most of them were very available (pricing around $150 toda la noches) . I should say FB is a very fertile ground to hunt for chicas all across DR. Almost all the chicas accepted my connect and out of the 50 I reached out more than 30 were interested in meeting me. I videocalled a few and all of them had friends that they could bring for a party. We did a FB chica night on one of the days and that turned out to be just fine.

A few of my other buddies wanted to have a party type of stuff and we went hunting in Sosua on day 4. It pays to have a good driver that knows where to go for sure and that can run errands. Literally within few minutes we were able to get a chica that was from Santiago (and working) somewhere near Bologna (Italian restaurant) and within the next hour we had 6 chicas in our van (including 2 Venezuelan). We got them to the villa, ordered food and got them on the pool and these chicas know how to have fun. It was great to see all of the naked butts and boobs in the pool having fun and getting wasted. We had a great time that night and we sent them home next day afternoon with USD 150 each (not at all a bad investment) and told them we will get them back a day later (which we did). I should say that this trip was one of the better trips for me and I frankly think if you want to party DR (other than Thailand) is likely the only place where one can pull things off without breaking the bank.

No admission charges and the place is packed. Enough eye candy for anyone. I did some of my favs but managed to find 3 new ones. Had zero problems with performance or scammers. Day action is a thing of the pass. During day streets are bare. Bailey s is popping as a place for the girls to post early evenings. I stayed there before the club opened. Do you know if you have a room there can you take multiple girls from the club to your room? Do you know if they let girls hang during the day like New Garden?

    That's a loaded question, LOL.

Commercial. Could mean an income property or an existing business.

If you have experience running a similar business in a similar environment, you have a leg up, but you really need to understand the game and the culture and have some reliable local connections, and a trustworthy local lawyer (if you can find one! LOL).

I ran my own business all my life, and I love Sosua, but I've heard enough tales of woe from business owners here, successful and not, that it's the last place I would attempt it!

I wish anybody who does, good luck!

    On the ground

A typical Sunday, Sosua downtown quiet. Checked out the new Rumba location down by the Casino, which opened yesterday. Big Joe from Sosua Lights on door. Nice spot, good food, watched Ravens beat SF.

Met a local buddy who took me to Los Charamicos to visit family for Domingo Sociale. Sat out on street, bachata cranked up, drinking cheap Jumbo Presidentes from the colmado and catching up with the latest, and watching the passing parade. Lots of eye candy, no changes ever, in Charamicos.

Invited to go fishing next week with buddy. Didn't catch anything last time we went, no fancy gear just a line on a spool, but a nice cruise around the bay anyway. A recommended diversion for a bored monger.

Problem was when we came back there was a high swell rolling up on the beach and we overturned. Buddy left his boat and motor and made sure I got to shore ok, first.

    Locals are like that!

I also saw in the Sosua forum on TripAdvisor that Scandinavian Beach Bar was renamed The Rehab Bar and is apparently doing well. I was sure that place was going to close permanently after Tom died.
$40,000 usd is dirt cheap for that spot.
