This has not been my experience in the city of Santiago. Santiago women have the I am an upscale uptown chica attitude. The only difference is if you find them in the Su claiming Santiago.

I've only been in Santiago twice, decades ago, and I liked all the chicks I've been with without exception. I like Santiago ladies. They are more upscale but that is a good thing for me. I am not looking for $20 pussy. Every Uber or Taxi driver can turn you on to fine working girls. The momument has SWs every day of the week. Most were 7's or better. I met a smoking hot chica in a mall (non pro). We did diner and drinks and she came by the apartment later that night (hit it). Sosua quality drop is due to the hot Santiago chica not coming like they use to. Sosua is an open air brothel almost every female there is selling pussy. Santiago is a different vibe all together.

The average cab ride is 300 pesos. The airport is a different animal. The Cabanas in Santiago are better then most 3 star hotels. King size beds big bathrooms piped in music and porn. The late night flights in to Santiago are bad. You have to make it work for you. I have a Uber driver I use. He picks me up at airport and drops me off at a cabana for night and picks up in morning to the bus station. He has about 5 or 10 chicas in his phone who are semi pros. I have never used any of them because I have my own stock of Santiago chicas I met in Sosua in my phone. I keep it simple.

And affordable. Paying 100 bucks for taxi or Uber when I can get bus for 6 dollars is a no brainer. It is good to have patients. After traveling all day decent bed is better than chasing pussy. Santigo has an amazing night life for the locals. However it is not set up to facilitate gringos.

Me and buddy are getting ready to head to DR and decided to visit here to feel the temperature. What you wrote is very true. I did the same and had a not so great experience. Basically worked on pre-game and had few non pro beauties lined up before arrival, most from Santiago. Of course my hotel was in the SU and as I invited them over they all felt disrespected and talkd trash that I was in Sosua. Many didn't even show up and it took me a while to understand that non pros anywhere in the country consider Sosua the bottom of the bottom. For hood rats and hawkers LOL. Some came and their families lies they went other places out of embarrassment. There's even shows on local TV talking shit about the SU. So then after that whenever I wanted to deal with college chics or non-pros I land in STI, get a hotel nearby and prob solved, after I'm done I head to the SU for the rats.

After knowing this shit I now laugh at the noobs and fake weekend millionaires in the SU pretending to ball, throwing money and acting goofy, when the locals are laughing at you and just see as a lonely dude with some cash LOL. So take it easy over there man.

We all crave the old days, low key, no youtube vids, no unemployed youtubers trying to come up, shit we got way too many of those. This used to be a secret hobby with fine bitches like law school and med school students used to frequent, but not no more.

One time I was in the Pica Polo place in Sosua. The one close to the Playero on the main drag. I saw this girl sitting at the table with a rice plate. Right from the get from the skin color, to the hair, to the nails, to the dress, this was no average Sosua chica. We made eye contact and she called me over to her table after I picked up my order. She explained that she did not have any money but wanted some chicken. I didn't believe her but she seemed sincere and I offered to share my order with her. She looked embarrassed and declined my offer. I am like WTF? I thought you were hungry (and that is a something I have NEVER experienced). No, she says I want you to buy me and order and I will pay you back later. WTF? I said, I won't do that. But I will exchange numbers with you and we can keep in touch. Come see me after your finish eating. About thirty minutes later I checked in with her. She explained that I did not understand her. That she was not trying to scam me. That she actually did not have enough cash. But the owners of the Pica Pollo gave her the chicken she wanted. She then went across the street to the Playero and used the ATM to pay them. She said she was embarrassed by my offer to share my food.

I offered this girl something from my heart out of compassion for another human being. And she was so taken aback that she declined the offer. My guess is that she didn't want me to think she didn't have any money. And guess what, she was from Santiago. And this is just one of my stories about girls from Santiago.

He can stay at one of the cabanas down the street from the airport. But like you said, might as well take the Uber and be done.

Those cabanas are nice. The last time I went this route. I made a mental note.

The taxi is going to charge about $40 to come from the airport. He's going to take you to a place that's going to cost you about $25 a night if you were lucky. Now you're sleeping in a small ass room in the middle of nowhere on your vacation.

It's not easy, especially if your Spanish is limited for you to hook up with a chica. Besides arriving late and trying to set up a Chica in Santiago to come and visit you on time is ridiculous. More than likely, you're just going to lay on a hard bed for a few hours, and leave as soon as the sun is out. Or them knocking on your door telling you your time is up.

In order to get on the bus without wasting time, you have to know the bus schedule. Now you have to try to find a cab to take you to the bus station. That could be another $25 and up. A gringos with limited Spanish to a Dominican taxi driver is like an elderly woman who needs a car going to a shady car dealership.

You find yourself at a bus station with American money, hungry, not really understanding the environment, and ready to get the hell on to the Su. Now. The whole situation has cost you more money and vacation time than you could have paid an Uber to drive you directly to the Su. IMHO Checking into your Airbnb and be in your tourist friendly environment as quickly as possible; is what most new guys should be looking to achieve.

After coming over into POP airport yesterday at 3 p, picked an uber outside the airport toll gate for a lot less ($7 vs $20 inside airport Taxi) and got into my Booking.com hotel near to the strip. Noticed room was dam hot, and no AC. Glad only booked one night for a trail. Got an additional stand fan and managed to take rest and headed over to classico around 8 p. Found a sleek Dominican young 20's. Stacie. Talked over google translator. She asked 3 K. I asked her to get the protection, else it was deal breaker for me. She asked her friends around and in no time secured one. We walked over the 6 blocks talking thru translator all the way. My cheap hotel had a guy waiting to check her ID and took a pic of it. (I liked that. Good safety protection. Despite I put all valuables in safe locker before heading out). Offered her a new towel and requested her to take shower. Once she was back. She asked me what she wants. I was in bed waiting. She went down and started one of the best BBBJ. After 5 minutes. She asked if I wanted to put the rubber on. I said. You are going to be tired from traveling so get a cabana near the airport and chill out. Most are better then your average hotel and you can get food. Santiago has some of the nicest women in the DR. The average SW are 8's. I am not sure what Uber charge to go to Sosua but 80 to 100 is what your looking at if you are lucky. Check out Dominican Cupid you might be able to hook up a chica to meet and greet at the airport. Catch Caribe Tour bus in morning for 6 dollars. 6 hours in a Cabana is about 30 bucks and if you get lucky you might get some company. Uber drivers have no problem finding talent for their customers. Most have pictures of girls in their phone. I am frugal paying a Uber or Taxi a 100 is a deal breaker for me. Real cost of going to Sosua is 80 to 100 for ride and 70 for hotel to sleep in. I would rather pay $36 for a Cabana and early bus. Uber from Cabana 300 pesos. What ever you decide good luck.

Friends, First time coming into DR. STI and just was able to get on this red eye flight from San Diego / ORD / MIA before I arrive into STI at 8:22 pm on Saturday. I could not find a flight directly to POP within a reasonable price point.

Can you please advice me.

1. If I can still take the bus from STI to Sosua? Or am I better of staying over near the STI airport (don't know any place). And arrive to Sausa next day morning.

2. It'll be probably be late by the time arrive, any suggestion on which hotel near the strip I can take? Want to keep it simple, walkable, place that allows girls. Nothing fancy. And not a slum either.

Have Zero Spanish. But have mongered in Medellin, Costa Rica, Bogota, Cali, Sau Paula, Mexico City, Gudajahara, Tijuna and kind of confident that I can manage. I know I won't get the same mileage you Spanish speaking folks get. But am contended / lucky with what I do get without the language.

Greatly appreciate your suggestions please to a first timer in DR.
