Exactly. To each his own. I'm a fan of Dominican chicas.

It would be stupid indeed for me to spend money and fly around the World to PI or Bangkok to get laid by some ass I have no desire for.

But it still amazes me that some folks either can't, or constantly refuse to see the logic in that.

    But it takes all kinds.

    LOL.

One reason being was at the time I was dealing with an older hunny dip I call the Dominican Big Booty Judy that knew of a clinic that does std testing on a Sunday which was rare because most places are close on Sunday. So we drive all the way up there on a Sunday. Actually had to go to the doctors house to pick her up first and then took her to her office to get tested. Had to pay a little extra since they were technically closed (3000 pesos) but got my results back in 3 hrs. They also did my girl from the states covid testing as well a week later. But it never occurred to me to check out more of Montellano. Went pass the big soccer field where the locals play, saw how cheap the cost of living was there as I saw for rent signs but didn't investigate more. Shouldve ask where's the local bar at and the times I went I didn't see alot of hunnies walking around that caught my eye. When I went to La Union a few times though I was noticing alot of hunnies but that's for another story. Definitely will take sometime and explore those areas more.

My only issue will now become making time for gold mining new pussy in montenallno. As you know youll find good quality pussy that will share her friends and / or join in the festivities with you. Then her friends share her friends etc so a man can get lazy down there.

But theres something to be said about mining for a young tight body stallion with very few mileage on her that can be had for less then 2 number fives and a Mcflurry at McDonald's. So yeah Ima take your advice, continue to get my spanish up, get a shovel and get to digging in Montellano.
La Union is a rather close-knit community of government housing apartment blocks where the population is mostly Dominicans. Montellano is an old sugar refinery town where there is a large population of Haitians. A lot of the housing in Montellano is extremely substandard and overcrowded and at the present time the situation of many Haitians in the Dominican Republic is very precarious, so a lot of people are desperate for 1) money, and 2) to remain in the DR and not get kicked out.

While a lot of the men find employment in construction or agriculture, the Haitian women are mostly without formal employment, so it is common for them to look to male tourists for revenue. streams.
This article gives you some idea of how Haitians are living in Montellano. https://www.diariolibre.com/actualid...ano-DEDL955251.

You may have to set your browser to translate to English to read this article. On my computer it automatically came up in English in Firefox. Anyway it says there are 250 of these cinderblock Haitian homes in Montellano with several adults and children living in each, most people who live there are undocumented, very few children go beyond middle school, even access to basic utilities like water and electricity is not guaranteed, and that living conditions are very poor.

I have to say, I find this continuous berating, rather incomprehensible. There are a lot of military guys on this board and thanks to their jobs they have traveled and then there are others, who make their first trip, outside of their barrios, to a different country altogether. There is no reason to expect that both groups would comport themselves the same way, given their different life trajectories.

Not that it means anything in terms of statistics but my own experiences in the DR has been very positive. The DR's proximity being the primary reason as Mr. E has correctly inferred. And personally, I find Mr. E's comments worth reading which are frequently tinged with a subtle pinch of humor that I find amusing as well but I am keenly aware that while I can get the horse to the water, I cannot make it drink. I would not even try! Indeed I am thankful that not all are hooked on steaks. Some like hamburgers as well and that broadens my horizon too. Live and let live!

The death of Sosua is greatly exaggerated. Again.

True what GM says, but the COVID shutdown hit every business around the world. No vaccines, no air travel means no tourists. No tourists means only a few desperate local HC chicas hanging around.

Now that the airlines are flying again, I can get back there, and they're telling me they are fully booked, and prices are up. With the toursts coming back, so will the chicas.

While the downtown strip is mostly dead, by political fiat, other places are opening up, and money is being spent opening up new, and renovating abandoned bars.

There's still the same number of beautiful chicas in DR, the P4 P business is legal, and the chicas are as hungry as ever.

I'd say let's see what happens between now and Superbowl to assess the situation, and see what the high season brings.

IHHO The Sue has its heart cut out and that's why it's experiencing it's decline. The heart of the Sue was the strip. It was were most of the action concentrated. They had everything from SW, pickpockets, motoconcho, Street vendors, and beggars. It was the perfect postop spot. You can just sit and watch the parade of 100's of chicas while you enjoy your drink. Smaller bars were patronized as tourists and street walkers come and go. Hanging on the strip is where you and I first met surfer and had a few drinks enjoying the scenery.

When my friends and I will arrive in the Sue we didn't report to our hotel. We went straight to the strip. It was live in entertaining. There were enough chicas for everyone. From the ex-pats to the weekend warriors. Chicas could freely walk around the strip without harassment.

In the beginning there were occasional police round ups. But it was damn near organized and most chicas tolerated it. At times it seem very comical. But then they got aggressive. The police got political and personnel back up to Increase the harassment. Next businesses were targeted. A lot of businesses were the safe zone for chicas. They were eventually closed. Bourbon street, City lights, Classico, Winner Circle, and a lot of other smaller clubs were all Targeted. And with the harassment of chicas business declined and Quality decreased.

In the past as long as the strip was still alive it didn't matter which major club was closed. Not everybody at night on the strip even plan on going inside the club. There was enough action outside for you to find what you want.

Because there was so many independent SW; Prices is stayed competitive. Yes some chicas still asked high asking prices, however they were easily replace by more cooperative chicas.

Many chicas traveled throughout the week to the Sue (especially on the weekend) to make extra dineros Unbeknownst to their family and friends. All they had to do was just go to the strip. They didn't have to cross their fingers or hold their breath. There was action 24/7.

Now the strip is on life support. It has affected everything from the local businesses to the beach.

Just more SDS from the usual Sosua haters. They need to stroke their own obviously bruised egos, by insulting other people and their personal choices, as being either too dumb to know any better, or worse to actually enjoy getting ripped off. Some folks never move on, they got to come in here and badmouth the place, like a guy who comes into the same restaurant every day and berates the customers. It's a little weird.

But things are tightening up in Sosua now, accommodations are at a premium with a record influx of visitors expected now that the airlines are cranking up again.

They come from all over the world, Germany, Holland, and Scadinavia. It's helpful to speak German here.

And they know a thing or two about the P4P business back home.

So Sosua will continue to thrive, as long as prostitution is legal, and folks prefer the Dominican bootie to the white bread back home, or the Asian "love you long time" crowd.

Here's some Dominican bootie I like.

    Are we that sensitive?

Look folks, the point of this board is to exchange information good and bad. We can all agree that Sosua is different than five years ago, to say otherwise is a hit on your credibility IMO. Complaints or appreciation are what we need to make an informed decision. We have been given tipping info, vetting info and other perspectives that should be remembered by every traveler.

Times have changed and so have people, myself included. Before I would take a newbie under my wing, give him the basic rules and make sure he was safe. Now I understand that nowadays guys have their own agenda and don't care what you say. With this in mind my new mentality is let the guy enjoy his fantasy, he paid for it. Guys and girls have fucked up Sosua so we need new reports and the veterans chiming in with commentary.

The Dominican Republic is great travel destination. Some appreciate it and others take it for granted. All the information is there so we can't keep harping the same basics. Just go back over the last year and do your own homework. Personal attacks on people and their professions outside mongering lines is not acceptable and degrades the board.

Newbies will get their mongering style by veterans who offer different perspectives. Some veterans are cheap and require the basics. Others want.

New experiences and explore. Some want to get a nut, while others want GFE. It's still fantasy island and you can design your own happiness. But you got to pay for it.

Yes Sosua Inn is very guest friendly and yes Baileys is a great place to meet girls. The approach is very simple, if you see someone you like make eye contact and then tell them to come over. Hand them your phone with the whatsapp contacts up so they can put in their number so you can negotiate later.

Reminds me of the time when I was in court for custody of my daughter and the judge askes her mom, if she could go somewhere and start doing better, wouldn't you want that? Her mom said no. Just like telling Sosua guys hey man over in such and such chicks will go above and beyond and you will very rarely encounter this type of bullshit. They say, no thanks. Nevermind how I am treated. I just want to get my nut.

    Please be aware newbies

The price for a Moto Concho is 50 pesos. When we give a chica 500 peso for a "taxi" we only reinforce their beliefs that we are stupid and don't know anything. It can also activate their greed to overprice us in all business transactions.
