I'm moving to el Batey soon. I'm curious if one of my favorite brand name foods is available; Do I need to bring or can I buy, Hellman's mayonese? Anyone know the price of 'X-box 360'? . Much more expensive there than US?

I think any kind of electrical goods will be much cheaper to buy in the US. For computers you can add 50% to the US price. The only possible exception is that a smart phone contract in the DR might be better value for money, for example you can get a Nokia 620 with unlimited Internet for about US$40 per month.

Up at 10am, WTF! I need more sleep! No wonder I need a mid day nap. Went to Rocky's and as usual the guys show up one by one. After, I price a couple of massage parlors for take out "complete service". Didn't partake, but I just my later. Went to the store, picked up some post cards and water. Came back to the hotel and filled out cards. Headed over to the post office. 1pm and they are closed. Went to one of the massage parlors and found a 20 year old that agreed to my terms. Off we go. Get to the room, shoot the photos, clean up, she insisted on a condom for the BJ, ok. And it was a weak BJ too, and it would have been a weak BJ without the condom. She sucks when it comes to blowing (couldn't resist). Finished up, pay the tab and off she goes. Went back the the post office at about 3:30pm. Hey, they are open. Hellman's is widely available, even in small stores. Buying it instead of local brands is one of the few extravagances I allow myself, although my gf adds it with a shovel so it doesn't last long.

Never heard of X-box 360. Is it nice with cheese?

If you grind up an XBox 360 and mix it with mamajuana it tastes something like Vegemite.

I'm not sure there's a right answer to that question. Some guys will say go at 5PM so you get to see all the chicas before they go with customers or get taken out. Logically, that makes sense. However, on my two visits this past Winter, I actually had a better time going at 9 or 10:00. The girls seemed to be more interested in getting a client and there were still plenty good ones to pick from. They would come out from behind the bar more and grab you and let you grope them, which they usually don't do earlier in the evening. Maybe it was because they had had a few drinks. Maybe it was because they were more desperate as the night went on. I don't really know, but that was my experience.

My suggestion is to go at various times of the evening during your visit and see what you think.

Up at 9am. WTF! That is like 4 1/2 hours of sleep. Went for breakfast about 10am. My buddies show up one by one. We cover the stories. We split up. I visited with a couple of girls that were out on the streets. Walked aroung a bit. I crossed a steet to catch up with two of my buddies. They were heading to the beach. I saw a thick legged girl with a big smile, working at the near by massage parlor. So I told my buddies: later! I sat down and talk with this sexy 24 year old for about fifteen minutes. She agrees to my requests. Off we go. In the room, shoot the photos, clean up, great BBBJ (BOOHYA!) , fool around and closed the tab at 1500p. That was a great time. That is how I like my nooners to go. Exchanged some money, went for lunch. Oh, two cops were pulling over people on motorbikes for not wearing helmets. And the police took the bikes. For some reason the Amazonian type women caught my eye tonight. I noticed five different woman at least 6' tall with their heals on. All were good looking. Three had braces, kind of don't care for that too much myself. One need braces. The last one never smiled once, that is not a good indicator, IMO. Eventually, the one I liked the most came by. We said hello. She didn't seem very interested nor did she initiate any other conversation. It was like she was waiting for me to do everything. Another bad indication. When she told me she was from Santiago Domingo I was instantly turned off. It has been my experience that women from there and Santiago want more money and are bitchy. Well, at least every single one of the ones I have met. Yes, every one of them. I excused myself and did not return. One of my buddies passed on a girl that night that wanted more than he was willing to pay and when he said thanks, good bye, she got bitchy with him. I asked if he found out where she was from. He said Santiago. Go figure. I wasn't in the mood for just any girl. Actually, I was just fine hanging out, having a few beers with my buddies watching the girls. The fact that I had two girls earlier probably had something to do with that. In any case, I kicked it till 2:30am. Was visited by 7 or 8 women. None of them interested me for one reason or another. The club was starting to close. So I went across the street and ordered a beer. The girl gave me the check, I paid the 80p and gave her a 20p tip. I noticed that she never stopped smiling at me and when I told her to keep the change, she seemed surprised. So I'm sitting at one of the tables out infront and I hear her behind me. She tells me they are closing. We chit chat for a few. I ask for her name and number, again, she gave me that surprised look. She headed home and I went for something to eat at the local eatery. Almost 4 am. Time to call it a night.

Up at 4am. Looked at my watch. Yeah, missed the rest of the night because of a nap. Six hour nap. Must have caught up with me. 4am. Went back to sleep. Up at 6:15am. Ok, maybe a little while longer. About 10am head out for breakfast with the guys. They told me it rained like a son of a gun last night. I didn't know, I was out cold. After breakfast, I went to a massage parlor and told the woman working there to come to my hotel about 1pm. I had this woman a year or so ago, and she did a good job for me. She shows up at 1:30pm. I was surprised, when you tell a girl 1pm. They usually show up around 3pm. So I layout next to the pool at my hotel and she gets out the oil and rubs me down for about an hour and twenty minutes. So needed that! After, we go up to the room and we clean up. Shoot a couple of photos. Then she gives me a very good, much need BBBJ. We fool around. We are all hanging out enjoying the local beer and the local talent. Kind of a calm night. Eventually a 20 year old walks up and says hello to my friend that lives there. I was planning on taking a chica from La Passions, this is my 10th, trip and was wondering if that brothel "passions" was effected but this "New law" Rtff doesn't apply yet, because of the new law, that has yet to be implemented.
