I have to ask which tourist police officer gave you this bit of information? And what if she says that she got undressed and you say she did not? Besides, to her, taking off her shoes could be construed as undressing, whereas to you it can only be considered undressing if she is ass nekkit. To agree with Buscemi and add my own two cents, I say this; if you call a plumber, electrician etc to your home and ask for a different service than first agreed, then he (or she) is still going to charge for the time Period! I was scheduled for my first trip to the dr in August of 2011. 2 days before I left, the 11 00 news is showing a hurricane headed straight towards the dr. WTF!

Not knowing what to expect, I cancelled my trip. The storm caused a lot of rain, but thats it. Still glad I did. Hurricanes rarely affect the north coast of the DR, but you could run into problems if you are flying from Miami and Florida is affected. With flights from New York, not so sure, but they probably would not fly over a hurricane. The odds of any single flight being affected are very small, but it could happen.

Hurricane season is June to November, with odds increasing as water temperature rises. Its purely chance when one occurs. You would have days notice as the storm trajectory is tracked. The north shore may get heavy rainfall, but its the south coast that really gets hit by the storms. Follow the National Hurricane Center to roughly project the path.
