The strip is definitely slower on the week days, however it is still fun and lively on Sunday and Monday nights and you will still find plenty / enough chicas to keep you satisfied. (A slow Sunday night on the strip is like a hot Saturday night back in the states)

Same here, traveling on a first time trip to Sosua in 2 weeks.

After reading the forum the last few weeks particularly this post, I'm having second thoughts. Having enjoyed Colombia, Peru, CR, PI, and Thailand am I wasting my time in Sosua? Does the GFE still exist or is it just a city with thugs, thieves, and mechanical LON all trying to make a fast buck?

I have a non refundable $1000 ticket but sounds like it may be more lucrative to cut my loses now rather than have a miserable vacation with the potential of extortion and jail time!

Thoughts and feedback greatly appreciated!

Maybe I was lucky but I never encountered any thieves, thugs, or bad girls. Nor did I ever feel unsafe walking day or night.

CMP has always been a hustle joint and most guys I know don't even look in the place. The first time I went there was two weeks after it opened. Daisy who most old school veterans know greeted me at the door. Daisy was " queen bee" in Sosua at the time. We never had sex but we developed a close connection. Daisy would tell me what chicas were good and bad, and even check chicas that bad mouthed Gogo. I used to feel sorry for chicas after Daisy scared the shit out of them.

Well anyway, after Daisy greeted me I sat down for a cervesa. Five chicas surrounded me and started in. I said "no" and they all turned their noses up and left with an attitude. As I drank my beer alone five chicas stood around me grinding and begging. The scene was to much for me and I was thrilled to just escape.

Tomjack8n is the only guy I know to have success there but he makes the best out of every situation good or bad. Most Sosua veterans have stayed far away from the place for years.

Just returned a few weeks ago from my "Virgin" Sosua trip.

I'm a middle age veteran monger with little spanish skills.

My friend and I decided to try CMP around 5 pm We walked in were the only customers there at least in the bar / dance floor area. Not sure if anyone was getting serviced.

We sat at the bar and ordered out first beers of the day. Within minutes we were surrounded by 5-7 chicas wearing bikinis / lingerie etc. All trying to get our attention either by flashing titties, butt shaking, or just dancing.

I moved over to a table to closer to the girls and bought 3 of them that I thought were attractive a beer. I left the other for my friend. With my limited Spanish I still try and get a feel to see which girl I have the best rapport with. I tend to have better results this way.

I narrowed it down to one that I liked. Of course they all had the menu out for the services offered. I'm really not the kind of guy who likes a "quick smash" especially if its not in my room. She wanted me to go in the back with her and I just said No! I did tell her I liked her and asked if she wanted to join me for fiesta when she finished work? I gave her my # and told her to call if she liked to meet.

I left CMP around 7 grabbed some dinner and went back to the hotel to get ready to party on the strip.

Not concerned if the CMP girl was going to call or not because plenty of other options. Well. 11:00 pm I get a text from the CMP girl saying she is finished with work and where should she meet me.

Decided to meet at one of the slower bars / disco I can't remember the name but its just up from Rockys on the corner of the strip. Nobody there I have no idea why. We had a few drinks then back to the room for a great time!

She stayed until the next day when I told her I had business to attend to. 1800DR + 100 for motoconcho and a few drinks.

IMO Not bad compared to an hour on the menu.

Every night is great but weekends are huge. I have had more fun on a Monday night in Sosua then any weekend any where else. Week ends the number of women goes up.

That was the opinion of the guy who wrote that stuff; not the chicas. But I'm sure his intention was to make you think that this is what the chicas are thinking about Blacks in Sosua, which is laughable. The N word is not even part of the Dominican vocabulary. But I bet you can guess a few places where it originated from (it's as easy as pointing out where the guy who wrote that stuff is originally from).

If this guy is such a broke loser he should have picked a different spot to set up in, like Laredo, TX or Tijuana, Mexico. Do what you can afford.

As long as she services me well and shows respect around me, I can give a fuck less how she really feels. To make a large generalization for all is small minded IMHO. For reference, my chica from last night was a repeat for a second night. The level of connection we had was even more fantastic than the sex. After messing around in the am, we finally got showered and put of the bed around 10am. My chica didn't leave until after noon. I kept throwing out hints to leave so I could eat.

She just wanted to continue to be around me and talk, joke, flirt. We even managed to have a discussion on the "scene" and the behavior of both mongers and putas. The affection and enjoyment she displayed was genuine. She already had her pesos. Thinking logically, she would have bounced quickly if she was so put off by my race. I'm no sucker either and this is far not my first time at the rodeo.

I'm very suspicious at people's motivations when the talk about the dislikes for Blacks. It's either expats trying to keep you away from THEIR paradise of its the European decent that are hating on you. I get mad love from my chicas because I give it and demand it. IMHO, the whole fucking world hates black skin, but I still continue to live a great life. If you feed into that bs it can become your reality. Be a fucking man and do you regardless of the perceived because there is no empirical data to back up that bs.

Just all seem ridiculous to me. So I am to believe that this young hot thang would rather be with a old fat dated dude just because he is white than much younger, smooth, good looking, good smelling, entertaining black dude. GTFOHWTBS!

I never understand Dominicans hating blacks, When there black African descent themselves? There just mixed with West African with White Slave Master blood, When the spanish ran Hispaniola. They are there offspring's.

If you know your history Dominicans are Black, And they can never claim Taíno Indian because there were killed off with diseases from European Settlers.

My guess is that this dude has little to offer the chicas other than money. However, there is something to be said about being in Sosua full-time and developing more long-term / ongoing relationships with the chicas. In addition, a guy that is there full-time probably comes across a lot more opportunities to capitalize off than the weekend millionaires or even guys that come down for a week or 2. He has much more time to try to develop chemistry and long-term repeat business that might afford him lower / more local rates. Also, he has a car and is able to get out of Sosua and recruit chicas from non-touristy areas. I don't think you can really compare the average Sosua monger to guys that live there. Also, this guy says he is location independent because of his business, which is probably something most guys only dream of at 32.

He is making an above average American salary with Dominican expenses. His website revenue pays for his forays. Guys living a trick life and has absolutely no desire for a gf. I have a few friends that are in his business and thanks to Amazon and Skype, they can work anywhere with internet. Its golden reading the hate. The N-words are street euphemism to be ignored. No self hate just verbose talk.
