    Great Report Showdown

It is clear you are a big softy. Just make sure you do not fall in love. When you can make a connection or have chemistry with a chica sex and everything else is better. Some guys would think you are weak because you met some one you liked. I think you were fortunate. Sport fucking and masturbating are both fun but making love to a women who is in to you is the best. Some guys never achieve this so can not appreciate how good it feels. Thanks again for the report. I am a month away and can not wait.

    Showdown Trip Report

    Sosua Trip Report.

Well guys here is my comprehensive trip report. This trip to the DR was radically different from the disastrous trip I had years ago where I was miserable. I think my experiences in Thailand taught me a lot about what to do and what not to do. The trip was fantastic and the DR is my new stop for all things mongering (and more).

    I. Getting There.

American Airlines, Spirit and other airlines have many daily flights from Miami to both Santo Domingo, Santiago and Puerto Plata. A flight from Miami to Santo Domingo is always around $250 dollars and is only a short two hour flight. With a flight time like that it is barely enough time to watch a movie on your tablet and bam you are there.

I followed the advice of a guy named CubaDave who has several videos on Youtube.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwB1DGuz8B8

I went ahead and spent the extra money (about $250 dollars more) and flew into Puerto Plata. Guys this is the absolute best way to get to Sosua. Don't fly to Santo Domingo and take a 4-5 hour bus; don't fly to Santiago and take a 2 hour bus; fly to Puerto Plata and take a 15 minute taxi ride. The extra money, in my opinion is well spent. It makes things so much easier. The airport at Puerto Plata is under construction in the area where you enter the receiving area after you disembark the airplane. You actually stand outside for a while until you get inside. As soon as you depart don't stand outside in the long line. Go straight inside the building and pay your $10 USD tourist fee. Most of the people standing in the line outside do not realize they need to get that card. Once you get that card you get in line and the lady takes the tourist card you just paid for and glances at your passport. You then go through immigration and you are in Puerto Plata.

Once you exit the airport look to your right and there will be a taxi stand across the small street. The taxis are not like normal taxis. Some of them are minivans and some of them are cars. Just walk up to the guys sitting in front of the taxi stand and tell them where you want to go. If you don't speak Spanish write down the address and simply show it to them. Its $25USD to get to Sosua. Don't * about the price. Just pay it. Its not worth it. Get to the girls! Its only a 15 minute ride and you are in Sosua! I personally was in a nice minivan from the airport to my hotel. It was uneventful and smooth.

    II. Hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Mary Rose suites.

    http://maryrosedr.com/

The Mary Rose suites are owned by the same man who owns Rockys and Sosua suites (Rick). I cannot say enough for Rick and his extra efforts to make my stay fantastic. Mary Suites is a bit off the beaten path so to speak. But I think it being off of the beaten path is the beauty of it. My room had a new 32 inch tv and was very new and clean. They had excellent wifi. There are several rooms at Mary Suites-some are more luxurious than others. There are 2 bedroom suites, an executive suite and more. There are several rooms that have their own private entrance where no one can see you coming and going-perfect for the discreet mongerer. The swimming pool was very clean and well maintained (I think its 11 feet deep) and there is a bar right beside the swimming pool. Every night the owner (Rick) (who also lives there) had a BBQ poolside. The staff was very friendly. He has a young man who seems to be running things and he is professional and friendly. I always tipped the cleaning lady (50 pesos) and she in turn always made sure my room was perfect. The entrance to the hotel is a large black steel door. I was allowed to park my motorbike (I'll get to that) inside every night. It There is a small store a 5 minute walk away. From Pedro Clisante its about a 10 minute motorbike ride and its along a nice wide road. I really enjoyed my stay there and will repeat.

I did consider staying at New Garden which is on the same street as Rockys but declined due to the fact that they were full. I am actually glad I didn't stay there as I think Mary Rose was a better deal.

    III. Logistics.

There is always a debate about where to exchange money. Outside of the street money changers (who you never use) they are all damn near the same. I personally changed my money at a shop on the west end of Pedro Clisante on the south side of the street near Duarte. The storefront is white in color and a few doors down from a barbershop. Exchanged my money (he gave a fair rate) and I was off.

As far as internet is concerned nearly every restaurant and club on Pedro Clisante offers wifi. I brought my phone I used in Thailand and I was going to buy a SIM but decided not to because everyone had wifi and I just used Skype to talk to everyone.

There are places to eat everywhere. If you get the right girl she will show you the cheap hole in the wall places that are inexpensive with good food. One of my girls took me to a place on the corner of Dr Rosen and the highway just a stones throw from the Texaco station. Its open 24 hours and it very inexpensive and very popular. Check it out when you are there. It is a whole and the wall but its good.

I ate most of the time at two places on Pedro Clisante- The Brittania Pub and the restaurant next to it named Resturante Bar. The Resturante Bar has excellent Italian food and the owner always asked if everything was ok. The Britannia Pub had excellent breakfast and I ate there every morning. Both were inexpensive and had great food.

I highly recommend you visit Big D's BBQ stand on Sosua beach. Big D is an African American who opened a BBQ stand on Sosua beach. And its damn good BBQ. He sort of reminds me of a funny Fat Albert. Really nice guy and I had some great BBQ there twice. He also is a good source of info on how and where to do and get things done in Sosua.

After living in Thailand I wanted a motorbike to get around despite the fact that in Sosua you don't need one. I just wanted to be very mobile. I am glad I did. I rented my motorbike for $20 a day from a Italian run shop just down from Rockys (on the same street) named Scooters for rent (809-571-2588). The Italian guy who runs it is very professional and thorough (which I liked). Insurance card, helmet everything. He even saw me once and told me to put my helmet on as the police were around the corner handing out 1000 pesos tickets! The motorbikes are ok-they are a brand called Argo which I have never heard of. It did its job just fine for me and my girl though. And I really got to see Sosua and all around. It was great. There is nothing like a hot chick (I'll get to that) holding onto you tight while you are rolling down the road. And when you find a girl you don't feel like having 20 moto guys staring you and your nightly choice as you tell them where you want to go. You just get on your own bike and leave.

We actually rode the motorbike to an ajoining town called Cabarete. It took us about 30 minutes but it was a fun ride in a very countryside type setting. There weren't many cars on the road to Cabarete. We rode past a horse farm, some really nice resorts and even some ocean views. There is even a massive billboard of a Russian guy who is a realtor LOL (I thought the Russians had taken over only Phuket but it seems like they are in Sosua now also). The beach in Cabarete was lovely. There were really nice restaurants on the beach there. They had a lot of water activities and the beach was much nicer than Sosua. There weren't any of the pesky vendors like you have on Sosua beach. If I had a car I might have stayed in Cabarete and picked up girls in Sosua and brought them back there. I wish I had brought my own helmet and googles with me. When riding to Cabarete you really need to cover your face but that's just me. The helmet provided did not have a visor. If you leave Sosua and ride in the direction of the airport on the main highway you will come upon your first stoplight where the Caribe bus drops people off. Make that right at the light and you will go into a small town where there are small shops (especially clothes).

There is a very large supermarket across the street from the Texaco on the main highway. It is sort of a mini Wal Mart / Tesco Lotus and you can get everything you need there. I frequented it for all of my needs when I was there. FYI-The police station is almost right next to it.

    IV. Finding girls.

If you are an attractive guy you will have NO problem finding girls day or night. I got hit on more times than I was actually looking for a girl. Most of the girls do come out at night however during the day they are all over. You can especially find them shopping and walking around the area south of DR Rosen and Pedro Clisante. In fact they all seem to live on the side streets in these areas. They will make eye contact and will make comments and things go from there. I picked up a girl in the day time who was working in a store but she worked 7 days a week, had no cell phone and a 2 month old baby. Too much trouble to try and hook up with. She was pissed when she saw me with another girl days later LOL.

If you want to find the best girls-they are almost ALL at Rumba and D'Latin. They are next to each other. D'Latin however had multitudes more women than Rumba. D'Latin for me was the place to be for my trip. The girls were prettier and in greater numbersand would seek you out.

    The girls in the small various 'barber shops' and massage parlors are all available in the day and night. The massage place right in front of Rockys is a BJ shop. There is a legitimate barber shop next to it. The girls will approach you as you walk down the street. I never was interested though. There is no comparison in the world to Star of Light in Bangkok &61514;

I never saw any signs of working girls in Cabarete. It seems like a legitimate vacation spot.

I never went to Passions. I rode by it several times (its too far to walk to it from most hotels).

    V. The girls.

The girls at D'Latin and Rumba in the early evening and early night were heavily Haitian. Now most of these girls have great bodies but are unattractive. They try to make up for it by dancing provocatively but it was a no go for me. But when you see an attractive Haitian girl she is definitely attractive. Tall, very dark skin and beautiful faces. I actually think the most beautiful girl I saw during my trip was Haitian. She was with a group of guys. Around 9 the Dominicanas start to show up. There are all types. Lovely, skinny, fat, ugly, overdressed, underdressed. Anything you want is there. I stuck with D'Latin exclusively. In fact my strategy was to simply sit on the rail along the sidewalk so I could see the girls coming and going. That was an awesome strategy as nearly every girl makes eye contact with you as they come in and out and I got approached atleast 20 times this way without me saying a word. Some of the girls walk from one side of the street to the other to get attention. There is one girl who had ridiculously large butt implants. She looks ridiculous but to each his own. The other girls would laugh at her. Some of the girls are absolute pests and won't leave you alone. One girl I had to finally aggressively tell her no after ten minutes of telling her no. Don't forget there is a lot of desperation with these girls to get their next meal. If you have mongered enough you can sense it. Sosua believe it or not has dedicated prostitution police according to every girl I talked to. These guys ride two to a motorbike and wear white shirts. The girls despise them as though prostitution in the DR is legal they randomnly arrest these girls and put them in the jail next to the supermarket on the main road. The girls actually fear them.

The one girl I spent most of my time with- I went to her place. It was amazing how similar these girls live compared to the girls in Thailand. In fact there are alot of comparisons between Thailand and Sosua as it pertains to the girls and their lives. Small cramped rooms, single moms, drug use (and a lot of those girls do use cocaine in Sosua; in Thailand the girls use whats called Ice) and abuse drive these girls to prostitute. Every girl I met had a similar story. And I never had a problem with them lying or stealing. I think this is in part because I will not go with hardened pros, girls that are very aggressive trying to get your business or girls in pairs. I prefer as 'real' of a girl as I can get.

    VI. My girls.

My first girl was sweet. She approached me and wasn't too aggressive and was cute. She was a little plump but I wanted to get my first nut so I took her back to my place and did the deed. Nothing to write home about. She told me all about her life-typical story. Single mom, dad took off, she was from Santo Domingo. I paid her 1500. And before we get into the pricing debate, I don't think there is a hell of a difference between 1500 and 2000 pesos. If your on vacation and you are that stiff with money the girl will sense it and tell other girls and if you frequent Sosua you will get a bad reputation. These girls all know each other-don't forget that.

My second (and last) girl of the trip was a gem. She was 'older'-27 years old. But she was real if you know what I mean. We made eye contact at D'Latin and just talked for a while. We stayed with each other the whole trip. She not only fucked with enthusiasm she really wanted to please me. She made me food a few times, folded my clothes and showed me all around. You see I think after a day or two of mongering you need other things to do. This girl fit the bill. She took me everywhere, negotiated everything from my haircut in Sosua to my motorbike rental to shopping for us at the supermarket. She did a great job. And guys in addition to the sex I told her I wanted frequent BJ's. I got atleast three a day in addition to the sex. We enjoyed the pool and the patio at the Mary Rose and she introduced me to a lot of the other girls who were her friends. I actually spent time at her place with some of her friends and it was a lot of fun. She of course was single mom etc but she saw it is a business and constantly addressed us mongers as clients. She fell in love with me though. It was not a problem but we genuinely had a chemistry. I paid her 2000 pesos a day and she was happy. She never left my side. She made a difference in my trip to Sosua.

    VII. Conclusion.

I think the combination of experiences gained in Thailand, flying to Puerto Plata rather than SD, the right hotel and the right girl made my trip fantastic. I know some guys go for quantity rather than quality but for me the quality girl that can do more for your trip than sex is the perfect find. Spend your time at D'Latin, get a motorbike and don't be cheap and all will be well in paradise.

I'll be going back in a month for more.

Just did my 10th trip to the Sosua and decided to try Casa Cayena for the 1st time after receiving an email sayin that my ole buddy, the former NG mgr, was now runnin the place (who I'll refer to as 'W' here). I only ended up stayin there 1 night after gettin fucked over like never before in all my years of mongering! So I felt compelled to share my story here for everyone who might consider stayinatCC.

Just a little background on me be / see I don't post much here. I've been doing overseas mongerin trips for 10 years & been goin to the DR (startin w / the No. Coast) for 9 (wow, it makes me feel old just writin that!). Like many guys, one of my absolute prerequisites for a hotel or apartment on a mongering trip is an in-room safe. I've done over 30 trips in LatAm & I'm always very careful w / my local funny $. When I go to the DR I always bring cash be / see (1) usin plastic often brings rip-off fees, (2) I generally don't trust the ATMs in that country, (3) I like to avoid paper trails on these types of trips & (4) my bank doesn't have branches in-country, unlike several of my other fave destinations.

So now let's get to what happened at CC. When I checked in I was greeted by W & the female Dominican receptionist took me to my room. The room had an electronic safe & the receptionist attempted to show me how to use it. She touched a button on the hinge side of the door and put in a new code. However, apparently she forgot how many digits she used, be / see when she tried to open it back up, the code wouldn't work. So she called up the young hotel handyman to open the safe. He used a little metal rod to open the safe through a small hole on the bottom. He cleared the old code & let me create a new one. The safe worked fine the rest of my 1st day.

The next day I got up around 11:30am & was ready to head out by like 1pm to get some eats & run a few errands. Before I left the room, I opened the safe and took out RD600 for the food & shoppin and counted rest of my pesos leftover from the day before: Road 3, 000 (two 1, 000 notes & another 1, 000 in smaller bills) . Also, I keep a ledger on a piece of paper recordin every time that I deduct from my stash of USD to change for pesos, pay hotel charges etc. During day 1atCC, after payin for my 3 night stay & changin some $, I had a balance of $512.

Now let's get back to the day 2. As I was leavin the hotel, I asked the Dominican guy workin the front desk to make sure the 2 cleaning ladies got to my room. After I ate lunch & did a little shoppin, I got back to CC around 2:30pm. I realized that I needed to buy some batteries, so I went to the safe to grab some more pesitos. I picked up my stack of pesos & much to my surprise, one of the 1, 000-peso notes was gone (down to Road 2, 000 total)! Everything else in the safe looked fine, so then I checked the envelope w / my dollars. The first thing I noticed upon opening the envelope was that the first 2 bills were folded down. Note that this was a deposit envelope & I always leave my bills straight in those. Lo & behold, one of my 100-dollars bills was missin too, so I only had $412 left!

After makin sure that nothing else was gone, I went downstairs & asked the Dominicano for W, who lives onsite. He got W on the phone & I told him to come downstairs be / see I had to talk to himata somethin. While I was waitin for W to come down, I saw the 2 cleaning ladies. One of 'them saw that I looked pissed & asked me if everything was ok, but she didn't look or sound sincere when she said it!

So W comes down & we go to my room. I explained to him how I was missing one of my Road 1, 000-bills & a see-note – of course I showed him the little ledger showin that I was now short a hundred USD. And I also explained to him how I saw that the safe could be opened w / o the code when I checked in the day before. Amazingly, W's reaction was that it was simply impossible For someone to open the safe w / o my code! He insisted that if somebody opened the safe through the hole in the bottom, they would've had to reset the code, so I wouldn't be able to use my code anymore. He demonstrated this himself & called the handyman up to do the same demonstration.

But here's the thing, even if the thief didn't get in the safe by usin the hole on the bottom, the safe still has a manual lock right on the front next to the keypad! I pointed this out to W & he claimed to have personally disposed of the manual keys for all the safes. Mind you that W has only been workin at CC for 2 months. So I asked when were the safes installed, be / see in the past CC only had lockboxes by the reception area & not in the rooms. He said that he took the safes from the office downstairs & put them in the rooms, plus he had to buy some new ones. Of course, the one in my room was one of the old ones from the reception! So I asked him if was possible that any of his staff that has been there before him could have some of the manual safe keys & he shut me down sayin that "I was just speculating"!

So of course I asked W to question his staff, particularly the cleaning ladies, but he refused. I then asked him to explain how my $ could have just disappeared & he said "I don't know what you do with your money"! At that point I was done & asked for a refund for my last 2 nights. At first he said no, but once I insisted w / a harsher tone & angry look on my face, he finally had the receptionist get the refund. So I packed my shit up as fast as I could & continued my stay at another hotel.

Just to reiterate, in the past I had very pleasant dealings w / W at New Garden – I stayed there like 5 times in a 2-yr span when he was there. I really don't know what's been goin on w / the guy since he left NG, but I was completely shocked to see how he reacted when I brought the issue to his attention! I was very calm & rational when I explained what happened, yet all he did was dismiss what I had to say, actin like his safes are impregnable bank vaults! I pointed out to him how long we knew each other & asked him if he thought I would fabricate a complaint just to get my hands on Road 5, 000 (USD125)? He never gave a straight answer to this question & kept repeatin that what I claimed was just not possible.

I'll leave it to readers to draw their own conclusions about what really happened. At first I immediately thought it had to be one or both of the cleaning ladies. But the reaction I got from W makes me wonder if the thief was a little bit more saavy than a maid. Either way I was FURIOUS! There's already a lot of BS goin on down in Sosua these days, the LAST THING you should have to worryatis gettin ripped off by people workin in your hotel!

Needless to say, I will NEVER EVER stay at CC or deal w / W again! It's pretty sad that W, for whatever reason, chose to tell a long-time client to fuck off instead of even investigating my complaint. Times have been tough for a lot of folks (including me) the last few years, but there's absolutely no excuse for shit like this! It looks like somebodyatCC has forgotten, or perhaps just doesn't care, that there business is dependent on reviews.
Why would you trust the Hotel employees with your cash, and your Passport in the Safe? Keep your shit locked into things ONLY YOU have access to! I feel for you don't get me wrong but trust noone! Room safes are NOT SECURE without a Milockie device, even then they could take the whole safe if it ain't bolted down.

This stuff is standard issue. DO NOT LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT! A Milockie device and Pacsafe duffles and products that you can cable to a bed, buy the stuff on ebay.

    Just a little patients

I could be wrong but I think due to constant churn of

Sosua you can fine a broad range of girls. From hard core to fresh off the bus. Being able to talk and flirt with them helps to vet. Some are very nervous. If you take your time you can pluck these gems, only problem is they are not always the best in the sack. It is a judgement call. You get a pro who likes you she will rock your world. It is not an exact science being skilled heips to create the best enviroment for a good time.

Saturday was a quiet night for me which is what I needed after 9 days of fucking different chicas. Spent the early part of the day drinking beers with my wing before he left for STI. I guess the highlight was watching the UFC card at Lou's shark bar. Went through Dlatin and it was the usual. Several other smaller places had nice crowds as well. Found out the Antony Santos info was incorrect or I would have done that tonight. Depending on how I feel I may try to make carnaval in la vega tomorrow.

Plus Sosua and Brazil is wack right now, There just NOT the same in my opinion. The 2 week millionaires destroyed everything and the more I go to Sosua the more the Girls become Less GFE,

That's why I go to Asia and places like the Philippines The Last Real Mongering Spots, Were you can get True GFE. And I know its far enough that the average American will not go there to corrupt these girls minds.

First I have never had a problem with anybody before after agreeing on the exchange rate, the guys on the other side outside the ice cream store would never try this because they arent sitting behind bars because for a split second before I was thinking of the possible consequences if I could of gotten to him I would of strangled him. Second, although I exchange usually more then 100 dollars at a time I never exchange large amounts at once in case there is a problem.
Please put a picture of the place and if possible of the man

Keep in mind I speak enough Spanish that there is no chance of misunderstanding. I immediately confront him about it and the MF'er says that its now 10:00pm and that is the rate, obviously complete BS not to mention we just agreed on the amount. I don't know what his reputation is but he is a f*ing thief!

    Doker,

Sorry to hear what happened to you but I have posted on this forum about this fucking thief at LEAST four or five times.

Yep, it's been repeated here almost monthly. That cambio will rip you off. Use Western Union.

Its 2013? Everybody knows what goes on in Sosua DR, Shit even when I go to the airport, The TSA Guards make jokes, like,"Just be careful with those girls, I heard there's alot of prostitution going on. Make sure you strap up.

There's nothing new in that video, that is not already common knowledge.
