That was a clever trick, since "morena" specifically means "dark-skinned" in Latin America. How dark can vary, but it never comes anywhere close to meaning "light".

Because Dominicans are on the average darker than most other latins it has a "darker" meaning there than other Latin countries. On the Mexican scale nearly all Dominicans would be "moreno".

In Spain it just means "brunette", but we aren't talking about Spain.

Yes, but there is a much higher percentage of those dudes in Sosua these days. I addition, sometimes guys that monger in more expensive places pay more in Sosua because they use those other venues as their frame of reference on value.

Unfortunately, you may be right, as is sometimes the downside in putting information out on the web for anyone to access. Of course Sosua is still a good time, maybe just less for those that experienced Sosua when GFE was common and the gangs flying in for short stays on Jet Blue were less prevalent. For guys that didn't experience the Old Sosua or places like Rio when Club Help was open, they can't miss what they never had.
