I was in Sosua 12/27 to 1/7. I had never been there over New Years before. My only complaint for the week is that I should have set up a date for New Years in advance. There were not a lot of girls out and about that night. Had to settle for what I could get. But for the week in general, I was able to find good girls throughout the week. Repeated with several of them because it was easier than going out and looking. Just communicate through Whats App. Like others have said, there are fewer girls waiting to be picked up out on the street. Things change and we adapt. But Sosua is still the place to go in the DR. It was a great week, weather was great, and I got out of town for some sightseeing as well. Always paid between 3,000-4,000 pesos. I'd say there were about as many Haitians available as Dominicans. I'll be back for sure.

Its $25 to Sosua. When you get out the airport goto there will be guys standing next to a big ass sign with their cab prices. But its $25 to Sosua. Enjoy.

Yah watch out for the guy that will say 30 usd, or if one guy that's hand you off to an other taxi and is looking for a tip, only tip your driver if inclined to do so!

Pay in local currency, the Dominican peso, any chica that quotes you in USD walk away, that's why you got lazy dummies pay in usd screwing up the game, talk about creating monsters, meaning thieving scaming lousy service chica, Nock them back a few pegs it a macho country those with the gold rules, don't pussy foot around these WG they will eat you alive if your a newbie!

I'll be in town for Super Bowl weekend. I am fairly new to Sousa (5 trips since 2019). I can never find a good massage. EVERY place wants to offer me extras after 8 min overly oily half ass back rub. I know Sosua is not SEA but it hard to imagine there is no decent body massage or foot massage. It would be heaven after a long flight. Guess I'll have to save more money and go back to Cebu or Patts.

1. Alicia Beach has arbitrary prices. Their Posted price for a Standard Room, King Bed, on the chalk board outside their door is $50. However I was charged $60 a night. Manager said the price just went up when I showed her a photo of the prices outside. Liar. And I had a one-star room, if that. The'Pina Beauty Parlor and Spa good strong massage with young girls and can get extras but you can't compare to SEA.

As I was visiting family who winter there, unfortunately this trip was pretty constrained to day time action which sucked, on top of Sosua being a lot shitter than I remember 2010-2017 . The Friday before Christmas was busy with a few lookers even during the day. The week of Christmas was dead atleast during the day.

I did make it it down the Friday after Christmas, perhaps I was a bit early 8-9 pm only saw a few that piqued my attention but couldn't be bothered to negotiate and find a ST room etc.

All my action was out of this place. The'Pina Beauty Parlor and Spa on Dr Rosen, there is another place beside it, both all Hatian girls. I picked this place cause it had the youngest and hottest. I was worried it might be a bait and switch. I can't recall her name but young and pretty but gave a really good strong massage. 600 for HH, 1000 for H. Extras 1000 for HJ 3000 for FS with 2000 for something in between. TBH it was nothing special but did the trick at a lower price than home.

Sosua is good for some living on the East Coast but I wouldn't go again would go to other places even if its further and more expensive.

TT -- you did not really answer my question. I am not a stupid American, and I know how to do math. What is the difference between me paying $50 USD versus paying 3,000 pesos?

Try Kika or Luz Maria. Kika is close to City lights, Luz is about 3 blocks east of the main area of the strip. Legit massage only.

Glad I don't go to "Columbia" with prices that high. Instead, I go to "Colombia" where prices are still low.

I have seen this advice posted in the past -- pay in pesos, not in dollars. But as long as one is aware of the exchange rate, I do not understand the disadvantage in paying in dollars. Would someone please explain?

Imagine it? You have already experienced it! I even went to one of those legit blind massage places in Santo Domingo and the massage was still super garbage. They really only rub lotion on you and call that a massage. See you in Pattaya where a real massage is literally 5 times cheaper than DR's fake massage.
