Since we are not taking things the wrong way, let us start with the DOP / USD exchange rate a few years ago compared to now 2021. I'll stipulate to whatever numbers you want to use. But DOP has lost value against the USD. Then add in the factor that the bottom fell out of the overall tourist market (of all types) in 2020. Check out that entire COVID-19 thing. You might have heard about it.

Those are basic market facts for those who live on the island. If the product is not produced domestically then it has to be flown or shipped in. All the products or inputs to those products are paid for with USD. If the DOP slips against the USD all prices go up. That means that all the expenses of the girls selling pussy goes up. Expenses of a business goes up, customers pay increased prices. Even "dumb girls" understand that basic economic lesson.

One person does not make a market. If you look at things logically, the girls have control of the market. I have taken on the "one person over paying" theory more than once and showed the holes in that particular line of thinking multiple times.

Please tell me when girls were charging 800 DOP for a ST just a few years ago? Because I have not been there for almost 5 or 6 years. And when I was there 1500 was the price I paid for ST and TLN. I've finally taken my maiden mongering voyage last month. After doing my research I realized for the easiest experience as a newcomer to the hobby is to do the DR specifically Blackbeards and Sosua.
